The best restaurants serving Italian food in Powys Mid Wales

Proper Pizza create the best pizza I have tried anywhere! Usually fully booked up for the whole night quite quickly, on so you need to get orders in early. My vegan friends love that he uses separate knives to slice their food too. Can't recommend enough.

This place is just LOVELY. I want to live here. The cosy and snug interior, the unbelievably helpful and friendly people who work here. The FOOOOOD. My friend and I both had the burrata and plum jam, plus delicious garlic bread. SO yummy and simple. Thank you dear Daphnes team, we'll be back soon. p.s. I live near Leominster and I know people who drive 1/2 an hour to get your takeaway pizzas :)

We went to this restaurant with mixed feelings as reviews weren’t that great but we gave it a try . We were the only customers on arrival but the waitress was less than enthusiastic . Food was good and freshly cooked but the place lacked atmosphere . A customer behind us asked if there was any soup . Waitress replied “ is it on the menu”( you think she would know or was she being facetious.) she then said “ it’s too hot for soup. Try the caprese or the tart “ . Had I been him I would have walked out.

Fantastic welcome, very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Food was lovely and very good value for money. Would definitely recommend.
