The best restaurants serving Italian food in Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

I'd been wanting to go for ages and finally made it however I won't be going back any time soon. The menu was poorly labelled for vegetarians and the vegetarian pizzas were uninspiring. I wanted to swap 2 ingredients on my pizza and was charged for adding the 'extra' item which I wasn't informed of when ordering. The waitress had poor knowledge of what items were vegetarian, told me it was labelled in the menu when it wasn't and although they offered to get their manager, it was disappointing that they were unable to refer to a more detailed dietary/allergen menu. I noticed too late that an ingredient had been missing from my pizza, I raised this at the end of the meal and the waitress didn't do anything, no apology etc, just asked if I enjoyed it anyway. My partner enjoyed their pizza however mine was average at best.

My sister and I had wanted to try here for a while and let’s say it didn’t disappoint! It is so tiny so I highly recommend you book as I lost count of the number of people that were turned away whilst we were eating. It’s not flash in terms of decor, cute though and rustic. The staff are so lovely and really the reviews speak for themselves on the quality of the food. We shared the nduja croquettes and the arancini to start. I’m a big arancini fan and this spinach and mozzarella one was one of the best I have been had! And how a tomato sauce can taste so different to any other tomato sauce I’ll never know. My sister had the famed pistachio pasta for main and I the nduja orecchiette. It was beautiful, can’t rate it highly enough. The wine was very reasonably priced and our bill leaving a tip was £70. Not that we are by any means foodies so to speak but we eat in Leeds together at least once a month and very rarely go anywhere again mainly due to so many great places but I would love to come here again and I’m sure we will. I can imagine on an evening you would imagine that you were in Rome or Florence or somewhere equally as beautiful. Believe the hype about La Piola and go! 🥰❤️

The restaurant sits by the golf club in Roundhay. Attentive service and food that is locally sourced and well cooked. Good value and friendly staff providing a quick service

Was there last night, cannot rate the place highly enough. Food, service, atmosphere and value for money was unbelievable. The waitress was so professional and friendly. Can’t wait to go back

We had a family night and wanted some quality food everyone could enjoy. We'd realised there had been some additional items added to the menu since we last ordered from here and wanted to give it a try. We pre ordered our food as we know how sought after the pizzas are from this place. They were delivered on time and the quality was absolutely unreal. The extended family were impressed and I must say I'm a fan of the new devil's honey pizza 🍕. Highly recommend!

Pizza absolutamente de clase mundial. ¡Posiblemente demasiado bueno, anhelando otro! Claramente, tanto tiempo y pasión dedicados a estas pizzas, muy por encima de cualquiera que haya probado antes.

La carte donne envie, j’me suis laissé tenter par un tacos au poulet. Mélange de saveur j’ai adoré, j’étais sur Leeds de passage, si je retourne sur Leeds il y a de grandes chances que j’y retourne.

Ya he comido un par de veces, las hamburguesas son mejores que 5 chicos, el bacon smash 👌. Más 24 4 1 en Uber Come. Lo recomendaría. Probablemente lo mejor en Leeds!

Great stuff! Had a nice well stuffed rustic burger with a generous helping of cheesy fries, well worth a stop by.

A Hidden Gem!!! Some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten in my life. And the staff is 10stars. Definitely, will be back!

We visit Luigi's quite often because of their super, great value food and the lovely warm welcome you get when you visit. This is a super little place that you should visit often.

Este lugar es una pequeña joya, he pasado montones de veces descartándolo pero hoy entré y me alegré mucho de haberlo hecho. Es fantástico 10 / 10 no puedo culparlo, también me di cuenta de que tenían una máquina de café adecuada, así que lo intentaré la próxima vez también. Tenía una rebanada de pizza, una bola de arrinchini, un chocolate caliente y un pastel italiano todo por £ 10.
