Excellent pizzas in a relaxed, chilled out setting. There's a small selection of starters and a great range of Italian, New York style and Calzone pizzas. Prices are reasonable and food is really good quality. Tucked away on Rothwell high street, it's really easy to miss as the restaurant and an actually upstairs.

Tuvimos una comida encantadora en Wood Fire and Dine. Todo el personal era muy acogedor y sonriente. Pero en particular Karis. Tener una sonrisa en su cara, hacer bromas y hacer un gran impacto en la mesa. Incluso añadió salsa de chocolate blanco a mi brownie de postre! ¡Muchacha encantadora! El servicio era increíble, siempre aparecía para comprobar si necesitábamos más bebidas o cubiertos nuevos. Buena noche. Una bienvenida muy amable en un peculiar local de pizza, muy ocupado, pero el diseño lo hace bastante relajante. Las pizzas son muy buenas con excelentes ingredientes y ofrecen una gran variedad de bebidas.

I took my 10yr old son here today and was our first visit but definitely not the last. The food, drinks and service were all fabulous 👌 As a single parent I really appreciate when we are treated just as lovely as the bigger bookings. I can't recommend highly enough 😀

Segunda visita, no vivas en la zona. Tan grande como nuestra primera visita, comida fresca encantadora, sabrosa y deliciosa. Todo el personal era encantador, educado y amable. El propietario era tan humilde como siempre también! Precios significativamente más bajos que otros lugares similares - además, en realidad no entiendo por qué pagarías más por una pizza tipo ‘cadena’ o experiencia para ser honesto 🤷🏻‍♀️ Gracias, volveremos cuando sea el próximo en la zona seguro ✔️

He visto todas las otras reseñas encantadoras, pero tuve una comida horrible aquí. Decidí ser atrevida y tener la feta al horno, que se lanzó como plato principal. Esencialmente, tengo un bloque entero de feta, nadando en jugo de tomate salado, con el más pequeño trozo de pan. Podría haber ido al supermercado y traído algo de feta y arrojado una lata de tomates sobre ella. Habría costado menos de 12 libras. Me hizo sentir mal - sin ensalada, sin guarniciones - sólo literalmente un bloque de feta. La ensalada lateral era horrible. Pedazos de tomate seco, ¿por qué? Sin vendaje. El servicio también fue terrible. Esperábamos siglos para una camarera, luego siglos para beber, luego siglos para tomar un café después de la comida. Horrible.

If you want real wood fire traditional awesome pizza look no further! This is a gem of a place. Great good, great staff and great choice of booze too! Honestly it is really well priced and can't speak highly of WFD! If you are tall (careful on the toilet roof). 😉 - still the best Pizza in Leeds - in fact the UK!!!

Soy conocida como la “Reina de las pizzas”. Viajo por todo el mundo para probar pizza y he comido en algunos de los mejores lugares de pizza de la historia. Me encanta la pizza (pizza apropiada). Así que cuando leí las grandes críticas de este lugar tuve que visitar. ¿Y qué puedo decir? Superó mis expectativas. Los entrantes eran frescos, auténticos y grandes ingredientes. La pizza - la pizza tenía una gran base napolitana (hinchada, suave pero crujiente). Los ingredientes eran de calidad y no puedo fallarlo de ninguna forma, manera o forma. ¡Fue increíble! Esta pizza era tan buena - se ha trasladado a mis 5 mejores pizzas en todo el mundo (entre los mejores restaurantes de pizza del mundo en Milán, Juliana en Nueva York, pizza en la isla es Capri y Nápoles centro pizza - es solo eliminado de mi top 5 a número 6 pizza Laguna Beach). Pizza Queen le da un sello oficial de aprobación. Estoy muy contento de haber encontrado pizza tan cerca de mi casa y sin duda volveré a visitarlo. En un ligero negativo - una de las camareras (chica joven) era muy grosero, poniendo los ojos en blanco y todo era demasiado de una molestia para ella. Decepcionó el lugar... Pero el resto del personal era fabuloso, menú de bebidas muy bueno y restaurante encantador y peculiar y no dejaría que su mala hospitalidad me impidiera comer esa pizza de nuevo.

We are very fortunate to live so close to this amazing restaurant. The ingredients are always so fresh, the staff friendly and they do amazing cocktails. The best pizza we’ve had outside Naples

Dough has disappointed me because it was soggy in the centre of the pizza and topping were falling from it. Toppings seemed to he fresh and good quality, and were tasty. Restaurant designed for old rustic style, however some of the tables were located in the walk ways what could disturb to guests seating there. Well it was my first visit and possibly will give it another shot as i have no good or bad opinion yet. Taste is good. Dough could be better. Service is good. Restaurant design is nice.

One of the best eating establishments ever.

Food is top quality. The dough is delightful and the toppings are generous. Definitely in my top 3 pizzas of all time! Service has been a bit slow when I’ve sat in, and the atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired.

Everything you could possibly want from a pizza place, cool setting, perfect pizzas and reasonable prices. The food came really quickly and was so fresh and delicious, the service was also super attentive! Definitely recommend!

I took my mum here for a pre-mother's day treat... it really didn't disappoint 😋🍕 We can highly recommend the Farmyard calzone and the Butternut pizza spectacular . Friendly service too.....👍

Best pizza in Leeds the staff and owner are very welcoming and polite, everything is fresh, garlic dough balls with melted garlic butter are the best I've ever had. Highly highly recommended

If calsberg made pizzeria’s !! Absolutely fantastic, by far the best pizzas for miles around. Great staff, very polite, helpful, happy and makes you feel like a valued customer. Prices are good, I haven’t been anywhere that can make pizza this delicious. I won’t use anywhere else from now on !!

Always a good option in Rothwell, true Neapolitan pizza. They can be busy sometimes so I would advise to order in advance.

Excellent! A firm favourite of mine and they never fail to disappoint in the delicious food or excellent service. Issy is amazing! As a newly diagnosed ceoliac i was afraid I would need to find an alternative to eat out. But WFD offer a full gluten free menu on request. they are well informed on cross contamination. Well informed on the menu choices . All the pizzas can be made as GF and so no need to compromise. The best thing to say is the GF pizza I had last night was as delicious as the normal one and my partner agreed if he hadn’t of been told it was GF he would never have known. It’s a great place to eat out with family or friends an excellent family run local business with great food and fabulous atmosphere.

Great pizza, vegan options, friendly staff and a cosy restaurant. We will be back. Returned twice since our initial visit and unfortunately on both occasions the pizza bases were soggy. I mentioned it on our second visit and they were very obliging, gifting us a free pizza to take home. On the third visit I didn't say anything, we all asked for the bases to be crispy on ordering.

Fresh ingredients added to a super pizza base cooked well & served with a smile. Sounds easy right but rarely is! Chef really knows what makes a tasty pizza. 👌🏻

Excellent pizzas and service second to none.my wife is celiac and the pizzas they make here are superb I have tried it and you can’t tell.beats all local pizza restaurants by far . Very nice bar area as well highly recommended

Great food, great staff and great night!

As someone who had to go Gluten Free for health reasons, I hadn’t yet found a GF pizza that didn’t taste of cardboard. But then a friend recommended “Wood Fire Dine”. My first bite of their Gluten Free pizza was like I had died and gone to Carb Heaven. It was so beautiful. Service was great too. Will be coming back regularly.

Great restaurant! The service was fantastic from the start and then the food arrived which didn’t disappoint.

Another fantastic meal. The service is always impeccable as is the food. Lovely to see Mark again and hope you had a great night for your birthday celebrations.

Excellent food great service and price

We have visited quite a few times since this restaurant opened and have always had an excellent meal. We have visited twice in the last 4 days the first visit we had their excellent pizzas, there’s a great choice of toppings and the base is so authentically Italian. The decor in the restaurant is beautiful and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We visited again on Sunday as they had a limited edition roast dinner on and again this was excellent. We had a starter of stratiacella, pesto, oil and bread and the cheese was creamy and the pesto so tasty, one of the best I’ve had - it was delicious and I was pleased to find this is part of their everyday menu. The dinner has beef and gammon on a yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, honey glazed carrots and parsnips, French beans and gravy and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was so welcoming and friendly - it is a brilliant restaurant to have here in Rothwell and definitely worth a visit.

What can I say, though? The pizza was excellent, incredibly tasty, and not at all disappointing. Huge thank you to Mark for his extremely kind demeanour. He went above and beyond for my family and me, and nothing was too much for him. Excellent team and very prompt service. I would heartily suggest dining here.

We booked a table for 9 people, 7pm on a Saturday night for our first visit. It was my sons birthday so we had 5 friends with him. On arrival, the restaurant was busy, which was great to see. A local business, full of people! ❤️ Good atmosphere, chatter and attractive dining rooms, the low ceilings gave it a really good vibe too - made it feel cosy and inviting. Chatting, laughing, wine, good food, staff rushed off their feet was the vibe - just what you would want in a pizza restaurant. Menu wise, there was something for everyone. Boys being boys, they’re pizza lovers and fussy - all of them said it was the best pizza they’d ever had. The adults agreed too! We would definitely be back, my husband and I are planning date night already and I would also recommend Wood Fire Dine for a catch up with friends and a few drinks. Really lucky to have a place like this in Rothwell and really glad to see it so busy. The large % of 5* reviews aren’t wrong. I would definitely recommend and if you live locally to Wood Fire and Dine and you’ve not been - you DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE MISSING! Thank you for a lovely meal, and managing to find a table at short notice to squeeze in 9 (when I’d booked for 6!).

FANTASTIC FOOD and GREAT people.

We visited on a Thursday evening and from entering the restaurant we were greeted by the owner (mark) and shown to our table. My wife and our guests ordered the homemade burrata which they thoroughly enjoyed. Then the pizzas arrived and they looked fantastic and tasted amazing. Overall I couldn't fault our experience and we will be back again. The owner really is a jolly little fella.

Service great, pizza delicious, lovely little place

I’ve eaten at this place several times and never had an issue. This evening I ordered half and half pizza for myself and my son which is what we always order and it’s never been a problem. When it arrived some of the toppings from my side were on my sons half (he only eats pepperoni). I mentioned it to the owner when I was leaving. I believe he’s called Mark and he made the pizza he was very rude and obnoxious and clearly can’t take any criticism whatsoever. He tried to tell me the toppings must have slipped when it was going in the oven. I will never go there again. May I add the young girls who work there are always friendly.

Wow. Wow Wow This was an absolutely amazing experience. Fabulous food Great service We were in a party of 7 (who managed to change our booking 3 times in 24 hours with different people wanting to come) The restaurant were so accommodating and helpful and got us in no problem - thank you for that. Service was superb - drinks arrived promptly and food order was taken. Fast forward about an hour and we had 7 empty boards and 7 stuffed but highly satisfied people. Great pizzas, the bases are exceptional. The fact you can customize your pizza is good too, you get exactly what you want. The staff are all very friendly and efficient.

Quaint little restaurant that has a very simple menu, working to its advantage. The pizzas were fantastic, the beer was spot on, and the service was excellent. Definitely worth a visit!

Love this restaurant, food is always excellent and the staff are super friendly! The menu isn't extensive, it just focuses on doing pizza really well with a few different things to try for starters. The calzones are fantastic. Usually a night out here for the two of us with a bottle of wine costs around £50.

Good quality pizza, no doubt about it. I make my own in a wood fired oven, and these were almost as good as mine :-) Would definitely recommend, especially the Neapolitan style. Also had the NY style base, which was tasty, but the undercarriage was - dare I say - too over fired in some areas, yet was a little floppy for an NY; possibly due to weight of toppings. Still, absolutely worth 4 stars and would defo return.

Managed to get a late booking for myself. Made to feel welcome from the minute I arrived, Even when shown to my Table, and being a Single Diner, I weren't treated any different to anyone else.. The Service and Food, was Excellent, and having been here before, I can thoroughly recommend.. Maybe if they did some Pasta Dishes too, it may generate more Customer interest, but still a packed house on the Pizza, s they offer non the less. Well Worth a Visit.. 👍

Beautiful Quirky little pizzeria, dine in or take out! I definitely won’t be buying fresh stone baked pizza anywhere else now this is my new favourite! The staff we’re brilliant even though the place was full they were still helpful with anything you needed.
