The best restaurants serving Italian food in South West

Avoid at all costs. No GF options and terrible service! Far better pizza available in Bristol. Food was less than average and service was not good at all.

Went here for Birthday. Wonderful food, Staff and atmosphere. Definitely will come again, even when not a special occasion.

food was really good we had pizza! really great taste! unfortunately the service was almost the worst I've ever had! the waitress forgot about us and was busy chatting in the kitchen I had to shout to get her attention! I understand we were the only people in the restaurant . however the only interaction with her was to take the order and serve it. no asking if everything is OK or do we want any more drinks! once she left our food we didn't see her again for 30 minutes!

This is a great restaurant tucked away on Wendron Street (best booking) as is open 6.30pm to 8.30pm. My wife, 12 year old son and I went again this summer. The waitress is very friendly, will go through the menu and recommend dishes and the atmosphere is authentic. The menu is full of original dishes - pastas, pizzas, seafood and chicken etc. Would thoroughly recommend Giuseppes - the food is delicious and you dont wait long.

Ordered for takeaway and pizza was picked up burnt and cold, received a phone call saying could we pick up half an hour earlier as it was busy so I assume he just cooked it for that time and left it sat on the side. Poor.

A friend and I had our “Special” birthday celebratory lunch with friends at Al Fresco. We all had a delicious lunch and staff were were friendly. Plus a great help in the planning stage. Thank you.

Need an ice cream you won't forget? Got no cash? (though they do take it). Highly recommended... There are some fabulous flavours, and they offer a tremendous option of a milkshake; I went for coffee and pistachio.

I bought a take away pizza margherita with mushrooms toppings and I was charged £13. When at home I checked prices in famous online delivery platforms and margherita costs £9 and toppings £1 each. When I called to the pizzeria the person on the phone said that it was a 'computer system mistake' as he put my pizza as ham and mushrooms, otherwise margherita is £10 and toppings £1.25 according to him (more expensive than in online food delivery platforms). He never offered to give back money wrongly charged, he was only blaming 'tge system'. The pizzeria has no website to check prices, so be careful when charged as you might be overcharged. Also pizza was nothing great, not much flavour and base quite hard, eatable but just 5/10. I do not recommend it.

¡Qué hallazgo! Estuvimos en Bristol por un día y encontramos La Panza por accidente. Estaba cerca de nuestra cita. Qué restaurante tan pequeño. Habitaciones pequeñas y acogedoras con un ambiente agradable. También hay una bonita zona al aire libre. El personal era muy amable y servicial. Compartimos cuatro o cinco entrantes. El Hispy Cabbage era increíble, perfectamente cocido caramelizado y lleno de sabor, el Vegan Arancini era genial. No soy vegano pero alérgico a los lácteos, así que un gran regalo para mí. El vientre de cerdo con hinojo encurtido y salsa verde era fantástico, lleno de sabor y gran agrietamiento! Todo lo que comimos estaba perfectamente cocinado y lleno de sabor. El chef se hizo caca para saludar, chico interesante. Y recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar fresco peculiar

Outstanding italian food. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. We stumbled across it while wandering around Dorking and are so glad that we did. The service was friendly and genuine, and the food is incredible. Everything was cooked fresh and with genuine care. If you are in the area you should definitely check it out.

Took 4 of my friends to this lovely Place. The food was absolutely gorgeous with a wide range of authentic Italian snacks/meals. The staff were so lovely and the Italian owner (so sorry, forgot his name) was amazing and helpful. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you

Amazing proper italian food never had any food like this apart from when in italy staff very freindly and welcoming will be returning a must visit

We had a table of 27 people for a works dinner. The staff were incredible, so attentive, hospitable & kind to absolutely everyone. The timing of the food was incredible, the value for money was sensational and the Hake was one of the best meals, if not the best meal I have had in Bristol for a long time. Absolutely perfect on all counts :)
