Need an ice cream you won't forget? Got no cash? (though they do take it). Highly recommended... There are some fabulous flavours, and they offer a tremendous option of a milkshake; I went for coffee and pistachio.

The icecreams were tasty and there was a good selection of flavours however the portion size was very disappointing. They don’t use scooper (I know - that’s an Italian way of serving icecream) so the sizes vary greatly. Our medium icecream looked much smaller than the small one from the family that was in a queue behind us. I would say their medium icecream is more like a size of a proper scoop in other places and with price of £3.80 that’s a bit dear in my opinion (especially with the rising costs of living). We are a local family and sadly won’t be coming back.

Just across the road from the beach, we were able to get a couple of their lovely coffees each day of our stay last week and take them back to the beach. We also got an ice cream most days on our way off the beach. I think that it is nicer ice cream than from the other vendors in Swanage.

This is my favourite place to grab a coffee and an ice cream and do a bit of people watching. The ice cream is the best I have tasted in a long while and a great selection! I can highly recommend the chocolate and black cherry as my favs. Also, as a decaf drinker it’s hard to find good proper decaf coffee when out and about. The decaf here is fresh and yummy and was glad to find that if I fancy a tea instead they also do great quality decaf tea. Best place in Swanage for ice cream by far!

Fancied an ice cream after walking back from Old Harry Rocks, so called in here. Very tasty ice cream. Everyone enjoyed what they had.

Absolutely delicious ice cream, large selection majority gluten free & tubs available. Queue did take a while but worth it.

We used this kiosk for coffees/teas while using the nearby breach huts. It wasn't long before we indulged- even though it was a bit on the chilly side- in their wonderful gelato. The only problem was deciding which flavours to have. Could have come here daily... The owner was very friendly and welcoming too

Hard working staff, fresh home made gelato in a spectacular location. Coffee is also ok. Great to stop here during bike ride in season or just when at the beach. Was very impressed at how efficient the team were day after day. Simple stuff done well!

We were looking for a gorgeous ice cream shop on Google the night before, and we set our sights on this fabulous little place for the following day. We arrived, chose 2 flavours a piece, and just WOW. The pistachio ice cream made to his families recipe was just lush. So creamy and full of flavour. Would highly recommend this place, and a return visit is defo on the cards.

Italian pistachio flavour is the one to die for. Absolutely delighted with the creaminess and this intense nutty finish. Not tried any other flavours unfortunately as Italian pistachio always wins. Definitely will be coming back for more.

Small kiosk competing with many other ice cream outlets but this one is super! Salted caramel and cherry amarretto were both delicious with generous portions.

We have been a customer since you opened 5 years ago. Always considered your ice cream delicious the best in town. Sadly your portion size is now appalling. My granddaughter was treated to an ice cream on Monday 18th May. 2 scoops which was actually 2 half scoops. This is really very upsetting that you are prepared with give your loyal customers half measures. This is not the 1st time I have had to mention this to your staff. Please take on board my remarks.

The ice cream was lovely and it was great to have a dairy free option. Staff were really helpful and quick to serve. Will definitely go here again when on the beach.

Summer wouldn't be the same without a waffle cone stuffed with real Italian pistachio ice cream, yum! They also sell this stuff by the tub!

We were able to try a flavour or two before deciding which cone to have. The gelato was good but not as creamy as some gelato I have had in the past. Definitely get one if there is a flavour you like.

Whilst visiting Swanage we called into this ice cream kiosk and were overwhelmed at the choice of flavours, absolutely amazing.You can also choose to have your ice cream in a tub or there are a variety of cones from plain to chocolate dipped.We made our choices from the vast selection and were lucky to find tables and chairs outside where we could sit and enjoy our ice creamIt does however melt very quickly and you have to be ready with a napkin to catch the drips.

I just don’t understand the rationale for charging 40p per portion extra for pistachio ice cream. Just wrong.

The ice cream is absolutely fantastic. I could eat the peanut butter flavour every day. It’s in a great location too, right on the seafront.

Good variety of flavours and some unusual ones. Two minor criticisms: 1) The portion sizes are small for the price and levelled off, rather than a full-size scoop 2) the scoops of ice-cream didn't have any topping on them so what you see in the counter (which looks amazing) isn't what you end up with! So two of us ended up with basically vanilla ice-cream instead of 'crunchie' and 'black cherry'. Coffees were fresh and tasty. £2.30 for a small cappuccino - thought that was reasonable. The ice-creams were £2.30 for one scoop which seemed a lot for the amount we actually got.

Visited today, as we do on each visit to Swanage, delicious and large choice of ice cream. Only problem was the couple with a toddler, who decided to produce a potty for the child to use while customers were sat enjoying the sun, it put me off my chocolate flake ,thanks for that ! NOT!

there are lots of places to buy ice cream in Swanage but Giggis gets my vote. Good choice of flavours - i can recommend the salted caramel and cookies and cream.

The Best in town . After a nice lunch I decided to try one of their ice creams Delicious 🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦flavours. Pistachio and rum raisins to die for. Thank you , keep up the good service

We stopped here as a family at the end of a day trip to Swanage, I had a particularly nice two scoop selection and all eight of us had different flavours and all loved the quality and flavours.

Unbelievable Gelato! Punchy flavours made in the traditional Italian style- all the flavour, yet light and refreshing unlike other ice creams which are cloying and fatty on the palate. It was exactly like the ones I've had in Italy! It's further away from the town centre, closer to the pier, so worth the walk though! We've had loads of ice creams over days of driving down the coast, no other ice cream vendor's quality and flavours come close to this! The gentleman selling the gelato is friendly and even allowed me a try of the mint choc-chip ( to die for!) Absolutely fabulous!

I only tried the vanilla it had a nice smooth texture and was not too sweet, just as good ice cream should be

Visited on Sunday as weather was wonderful ! Ordered two scoops per person in cones and tubs and I have to say the meanest portions I have ever seen ! The ice cream was lovely but come on guys over three pounds for half a cone Ishtar on !! I’ll keep going to Barford Farm they have great home made ice crea and proper portion sizes for the money !!

We visited here on a bank holiday Monday. Nice ice cream but you don’t get much of it and at £15 for 4 tubs with 2 flavours it’s not cheap but beware you don’t get full scoop you get it scraped into your tub with a spatula type thing.

I went with my family few months ago and the ice cream is pretty different than the "normal"....you can feel how tasty and creamy is...which enhances its natural flavour....its quite expensive but indeed worth it!!!

My grandson waited in line with his money to buy an ice cream, and was totally overlooked by the staff serving, when I went to his rescue and asked for him to be served next, because he had been queuing longer than the large family that muscled in, the assistant just shrugged his shoulders, needless to say we took our service else where.

Stopped off after lunch for a pudding after lunch , the choice of ice cream was fantastic and took me a while to make my mind up, but I had sour cherry and crunchie flavour , both delicious us and we sat outside to enjoy in the little seated area , would recommend xx

El peor helado que me he 1 en un tiempo. Normalmente nos Marshfield, New Forest o Kelly's. Como ambos teníamos el mismo sabor es difícil saber si era justo que sabor o similar en todos los sabores.

Stunning looking display of ice cream which has multiple flavours, the colours on the display of ice cream is a treat to your eyes and eating the ice cream is a treat to your stomach.Defiantly worth a visit.

We visited at the end of the season and so there were'nt too many flavours to chose from. We all enjoyed it.

My partner and my 3 children absolutely loved the choice of ice cream!! They all had something different to suit their individual tastes and came away extremely happy!!

Visiting Swanage, we got off the bus on the beach front before it turned in to Swanage town. Almost right across from the bus stop if Giggi's. Just when we were ready for a coffee before exploring. It was very windy so we sat across from the kiosk. We discovered that the people were very friendly and keen to help you find your way around. Swanage in the centre isn't very big anyway. I think Giggi's has picked the perfect spot.

Love the choice of flavours with coconut being standout for me, it's lovely that the cones are proper and not the cheap ones you get everywhere else in Swanage. On colder days, the latte is very good quality.

Very good ice cream, right texture, different choice of cones. Recommended. However, a bit pricey, and the flakes are over priced at 40p

Although the ice cream was delicious and worth the money £1.90 for a cuppa is a bit too expensive in my opinion!

We tried lots of different ice creams on our recent trip to Dorset and unfortunately thus wasn't one if the best. At £2.20 for a small tub it was quite prices although portion size was good. The texture of the ice cream is very very soft so it melted very quickly and dripped down the side of the tub faster than I could eat it! I had the salted caramel flavour and felt it had a slightly artificial taste - nowhere near as tasty as the Purbeck ice cream company's version which has delicious nuggets if caramel in it.

This kiosk about mid way along the promenande offers great homemade icecream and sorbet. Good selection and always yummy. Worth the walk

This little kiosk has a big selection of different ices, as well as hot drinks (I've had 2 latte so far!) Sandwiches, cold drinks ( not tried any of those, but sandwiches did look good!)The reason I'm recommending it is the strawberry yogurt ice-wow! Delicious is an under statement!Had one Wed, and went back for another today, and anticipate a few more before holiday is over, it is so good!!Think I should try some of the other flavours, but not convinced they can beat this!A real treat!

Not the cheapest of ice creams at £2.20 for a single cone (50p more for a chocolate cone which wasn't worth it) but the ice cream is delicious. We've tried 5 or 6 flavours over the course of the week; all are excellent. Our favourite is the coconut; incredibly sweet, creamy and full of coconut. Yum.

Good choice of ice creams and reasonable price. Also had a good large tea and sat on the chairs watching everyone on the beach over the road.

You must try this! My fave is cherry amaretto (big juicy cherries)! My son loves them all. . Sorbets are dairy free and sugar free. Our favourite ice cream in town.

If your looking for value for money when buying a cornet go to Giggi's and by a whipped cornet. They are enormous. Taste good too.

A lovely Friday afternoon treat, friendly service & fab ice cream. Lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by. Definitely worth walking along the seafront for.

I cannot fault the ice cream here, is was delicious. We had a key lime pie & plain old vanilla but both were exceptional. We enjoyed them in honeycomb topped waffle cones & I have to say that this was the best ice cream I have tasted in many a year. Top marks to the makers.

Great tasting ice creams with a good variety of flavours.The portions were good and a single scoop cone was generous. This was the second time we had had ice cream from Giggi, the first being from Poole. The same comments apply. Good value for the money.

Absolutely delicious ice cream, and yummy flavours. The best coffee ice cream I've ever had! Close to the beach in the pedestrianised area, so no traffic to worry about as you cross the road to get your ices.

Great location right on the beach, great coffee, fabulous gelato, friendly helpful staff. Nothing not to like at all. Kids are still raving about the ice creams.

Me and my sister have been looking for a decent milkshake for a long time!We finally found the place, delicious and such creamy flavour.I had strawberry and vanilla, my sister had lime and vanilla (lime is very hard to find these days!).We would definitely recommend and will return.

When I was child, we use to have really great ice cream shop in town. It's still there, I just do not leave there anymore. Yogurt one was my favorite. And since then - for years I was looking to find similar taste. I wound it!!! And not similar. I found the same! Identical. What a great ice cream! Thank you! Besides this one, I've tasted few other flavors and the were great too. We also had some coffees - lovely taste. And last, but not least is the staff - very friendly, efficient, nice.

Beautiful ice cream sold here by very friendly staff. There are also a few seats outside the kiosk which overlooks the sea. They also serve teas and coffees and quick snacks.

Really good quality Ice Cream with some superb flavours. Better than any others we have tried in Swanage, even the Purbeck is not as good. Recommend all but love the Pistachio.

The ice cream is really good quality here, it's proper gelato ice cream and well worth a few extra pennies. The flavour choices are good and varied which is particularly useful when your fellows are tired of the generic seaside ice cream parlour choices. Well worth a visit.

I really enjoy getting ice cream from here as a treat but couldnt afford to make a habit of it as they are quite pricey. They do great flavors though and the ice cream is lovely and creamy. well worth a try

Very welcoming and spotlessly clean outlet selling a huge range of appetising ice cream flavours - the rum and raisin was really good and in fact a single cone at £2 was a large helping. Giggi is set away from the shops in the centre of Swanage but with easy access to the prom it's ideally placed for customers to buy an ice cream and then saunter along the beach front. A great place!

On holday in Swanage last week. Went here twice and the ice cream is to die for. Maybe a little expensive but well worth it.

If you like good ice cream then this is the place for you. With so many to choose from, there is a flavour for every one. There is a couple of tables out side to sit on and look out to sea and enjoy your ice cream.

The ice cream is well worth a try, many flavours to choose from and home made. You can even take a tub home. On a cooler day the coffee is very warm and inviting

Wow!! I'm pretty lucky to live in Wareham and my parents live in Swanage. Today was the first time we'd been to Giggi and we will definitely come again!! So much nicer than the usual 'plastic' ice creams that you normally get at the seaside. The staff were great, despite it being ridiculously busy with the Purbeck Marathon taking place and it being a glorious hot sunny day. There is a lovely range of flavours and it is going to mean a fair few more visits to sample them all. This will not be a hardship! No doubt some people will say that it is too expensive, but think of it as cost versus value. The quality is second to none. There are other places to go if you're really that tight.... Definitely one to try if you're in Swanage!

We both had an ice-cream here today. I had the peanut butter and my partner had the black cherry. Both were excellent and an equal to what we both think is the best ice-cream ever in Purbeck ice-cream.Forget all that other stuff, it just doesn't compare.

My family and I had several ice creams here over the summer and the selection / quality was good. However for something better try Fortes.

Wonderful tasting ice creams and coffee from this authentic Italian outlet...apparently there is another similar outlet in Bournemouth. We had a selection of different ice creams including banoffee pie and peanut butter which was yum. A great addition to Swanage, in a fab location near the huts.

A wet day in Swanage was greatly improved by visiting GiGi. The sorbets were excellent but the star ice cream was the pistachio much better that the pistachio we had in the pistachio capital of Sicily.

This seafront establishment serves an array of the finest Italian ice cream and sorbets and boy are they good! They have flavours to suit all tastes and then some. In addition they sell take home packs. A definite cut above the rest.

Situated on the seafront, this ice cream serves the best ice cream we have ever tasted, large range of different flavours. Well worth calling in.

This is the BEST ice cream I have ever had :-) I made a few trips here when I came on holiday. The portions were perfect and ALL the flavour choice was superb. I liked the fact they also had sorbet which I had alot of as although the ice cream is lovely, it can be very bad for your waistline! All in all you HAVE to go here when in Swanage, its the only ice cream palour worth visiting :-)

Great selection of ice creams and milkshakes, but at £4 a go is is far more expensive than the competition. The milkshake was made fresh while we waited in a blender.

Stopped here after a lovely day wandering around Swanage and spending a few hours on the beach. Wanted to sample their ice cream as this was new since our last visit in 2014. How glad am I that we did, and can I just say, salted caramel ice cream is delicious! Friendly service, expected price for quality italian ice cream and a huge amount of flavours to chose from - I went for the coffee and salted caramel, and my partner went for salted caramel and banoffee pie (if I remember rightly). I could have quite easily just sat with the whole tub and a spoon! Looking forward to our next visit.

Real Italian ice cream. Certainly not good for the waist Line, but if you are going to eat something bad.......make sure it tastes good!

We've been to this place 3 times now, good size portion, great variety and the flavours are absolutely lovely.I really recommend the sorbet - you just wouldn't believe its dairy free!

Right opposite the beach you can sit and watch the waves come in as you eat your ice cream. The ice cream is nice and creamy and the flavors are really great. I will definitely visit again.
