The best restaurants serving Italian food in Wokingham South East

Absolutely outstanding ice cream, I really couldn’t go back to the supermarket ‘luxury’ ice cream again. Such a fresh taste and did not make me feel bloated and sickly afterwards. This is truly quality ice cream

Friendly, efficient independent cafe serving gorgeous italian pastries and a very good cappuccino. Reasonably priced, light and bright interior and just a great cafe.

Generous portions satisfy appetite. Handpicked ingredients bears the stamp of quality. Excellent choice of meals .nicely presented. Would recommend to everyone ,Italian food experts.

Very slow and poor service. The agenda seemed to be to sell as much wine as possible. Ordered Lobster, it was appalling. Undersized, not fresh and poorly cooked. Complained and was told Chef would be consulted. No comeback, no apology or offer of rebate. I was guest of company and did not want to embarrass my host, so did not take it any further. Cost structure was excessive and beyond poor quality of food offered. Would not recommend. Terrible experience.

Right in the middle of Wokingham, the restaurant is somewhat unprepossessing from the outside, but the food and service are so good that any shortfall of ambiance is soon forgotten as the real reasons for coming here are enjoyed.

I was in the area so a lunchtime visit to a very good restaurant, quick service, pleasant and accommodating staff made for an easy visit. The 'Toscana Picante' is no ordinary pizza.

Took my mum here for her birthday. It was a restaurant we went to lots when it first opened in the 90s but not been for a while. I have to say some reviews had me concerned but the staff were attentive, lovely and funny. The menu had a huge choice and the ambience was delightful. We had a lovely time and felt no rush to be done even when we were the last in the restaurant after lunch. Will definitely be back, thank you

Food was excellent , 9 of us all enjoyed our different choices. The restaurant was very busy , nice family atmosphere. Birthday girl received a small cake with a candle and everyone sang , nice touch . Would go again .

Stayed here years ago so new of it The room we had was drab and could have done with a paint job the carpet was dirty the bed i was in was broken and squeaked every time i moved Breakfast in the morning was help yourselves but we had to ask another quest my daughter asked for some toast and we waited to see if they were going ask if we wanted cooked breakfast they did ask if we wanted brown or white toast but not do we want a cooked breakfast When we went to hand keys in no one there so handed to a lady i think she was the cleaner Date of visit May2018

Terrible food, disgusting service. The only good thing about this restaurant is nice river view

Occasionally I write a review if its top/appaling service. Do not use unless you want food always at least 1 hour (sometime 1.5 hours) late, cold and unedible. Totally unacceptable for fast food from a good brand. Pizza Hut - surely you investigate your worst performing restuarants - obviously not. Appalling shambles mainly due to having no delivery drivers, key point rather than people in the kitchen. Do not use. Soon no doubt to be 391 out of 391 lol - you have been warned
