Friendly and welcoming staff, near and clean, variety of food, portion sizes were good and most importantly fresh and delicious food! Vegan options available.

Visited here again, it is ok, very average, the pasta sauce was quite meaty tasting, which was surprising for a tomato based sauce. It was an arrabettia sauce, but very little meat and just filled with baby tinned tomatoes.

Visited with friends for my birthday...what can I say? just wonderful!!!our waitress made us feel at ease the minute we walked in... she was so lovely and welcoming...totally down to earth and friendly. my friends had salmon and chicken...I had the Tonno pizza (tuna and onion) The Garlic bread was the best I've ever tasted...and I've tasted a lot!!!Wine was ice cold and a reasonable price...When we left we were given a flyer with deals on for the restaurant and take away which were brilliant value.Will definitely be visiting this little gem again!!!

I d like this place . However £7 for a slice of vegan cake is a bit much !! Seriously overpriced cake . Come on guys . Lower your prices !!

Stumbled across this whilst waiting for a trip to the theatre. Even though they were fully booked, they did manage to squeeze us in (2 adults 2 children) servers were very friendly, food was amazing and dessert was tremendous. Next visit to Lancaster and we will definitely be booking this fabulous little restaurant.

Although myself and my wife Susan have enjoyed a drink at La Roma on a few occasions we have never eaten there but decided to do so last weekend. We booked a table in case the restaurant was full and were glad we did as it was very busy . We were shown to our table and were given a menu , there were plenty of meals we fancied but Susan chose the sea bass whilst i had a chicken meal which came in a tomato & red wine sauce which I asked to change for peppercorn which they were happy to do. We were told the meals would be about fifteen minutes which was fine and they duly came on time. There is only one word to describe them , excellent , probably the best meals we have had anywhere in a long time. The only slight negative and it is not a criticism but we were unsure who was taking the orders as we could only see one person going from table to table , maybe an extra person doing the same would help . We will certainly be going back to the restaurant in the future and will be happy to recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going there .

We had a delicious lobster ravioli and prawn fettuccine. Portions were ample but not overwhelming. We had a very pleasant bottle of house white wine which was nice and cold. The proprietor was very honest in admitting that the tiramisu was unfortunately not homemade that day as the chef was on holiday so we had a good pistachio melt in the middle dessert instead.
