Romax is a family friendly gem in Walthamstow. Great service and beautiful pizzas cooked by Romeo himself. They will go above and beyond to make sure you have all you want. Cocktails are fabulous and the prices are decent 👌.

the other reviews are correct. Had no expectation coming here. When we walked in the place was dim as there was no one else but us. We were greeted delightfully by who we think was the owner. We had pizza, lamb and dessert. Everything was delcious and the right price

Great food and charming staff, we had a really enjoyable evening, For some reason we had not tried this restaurant before but glad we finally did. As well as the normal menu there were also very interesting specials. We had fish stew from the menu and a risotto from the specials and would order them again! Reasonably priced for the standard of food and good atmosphere. We are really looking forward to a return visit.

My wife, Angela, and I visited this lovely eatery along Station Road in North Chingford last Wednesday evening. We were met with Silvo's and Orazio's customary warmth and shown to our table. The decor remains unchanged: romantic lighting with delightful prints of Italian locations on the walls. The background music was brilliant and set at the right decibel level. Armed with a perfectly concocted Aperol Spritz, and to the accompaniment of polite chatter and laughter from the diners already there, we made our selection from a wide-ranging menu, especially when you include their specials' board. Angela went for the Avocado Crab and Prawns followed by the Saltimbocca; I chose the Prusciutto e Melone and also followed it by the Saltimbocca: all the meals were fresh and perfectly prepared in taste and texture. This culinary perfection was baptised with a brilliant Primitivo: an Italian red with a hint of sweetness, which complemented our meal admirably. We then found room for dessert: the wonderful Alfredo concoction that had Angela drooling, and I demolished the Apple Tart drizzled with Amaretto - delicious! We concluded the gastronomic extravaganza with lemon tea, black Americano, and black Sambucas. Plus, we had complimentary drinks from our gracious host - grazie mille and muito obrigado, Silvo. What makes this place so special is the genuine warmth and friendship from all there, where you can feel right at home and bask in the ambience of great food, chat, and laughter. Este era un encantador lugar de pizza del barrio que también servía cervezas artesanales en el barrio londinense de Walthamstow. Fue amable, a un precio razonable y acogedor para los clientes de todas las edades. Las pizzas eran deliciosas y las cervezas eran sin duda un paso más de las ofertas habituales en los pubs. Está convenientemente situado cerca de la calle. Ayant vu ce restaurant avec de bons avis sur Internet, nous avons franchi la porte avec enthousiasme, et nous avons été franchement déçu. Rien de mauvais gustativement parlant, mais rien d'extraordinaire. Par contre, nous avons été servi par un homme absolument pas accueillant et professionnel. Je ne recommande pas.

Meeting up with a large group of friends, we found the restaurant spacious with good service and tasty food. The choice on the menu suited all , ‘The specials’ did not disappoint. Everyone was happy with their meal. A good choice for all .

Permanently closed unfortunately. A sad farewell but it was always a comfortable and friendly place to relax at lunchtime.

Great Dinner with my wife. 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th timed always good. Took 30 people at xmas they cope well for a small restaurant. Just booked again for this Xmas. Again yesterday March 2025. Only 4 of us but still brilliant.
