Alexandra was our waitress that night and provided excellent service and was very attentive! Would come back here again!

The food was tasty. I had ordered Sakshuka served with bread and my daughter chose the fillet steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak was a bit overdone and dry. As we mentioned it just to let the chef know , unexpectedly the manager came to us and offered to make her another steak! This time it was super! On top of it we got a complimentary bowl of olives..

This was a memorable dining experience ,thanks to my son who has been craving for Italian cuisine. Figo caught his eyes from our walk on High Leyton Street the previous day and our online search confirmed this was the place to go. We received a warm reception as we entered this exquisite place, welcomed by Natalia and her colleagues. Natalia shared the menu and answered our questions which made our decisions easier. We enjoyed natural juices which complimented our meals: Bistecca alla Griglia and Pollo alla Milanese. I added a spagetti to my bistecca. My son and I left savouring the taste and the licking our lips. We had a Salmon take away which was enjoyed by my wife with commendation for the sauce which peaked the flavour of a well done meal. The food was really nice, cannot fault it at all. Service was good but a little too keen to take orders, cleared plates away before everyone had finished eating. Wine glasses were whisked away as soon as they were empty. Ok it’s a minor gripe and not anything major. Only thing I really didn’t like was the 12.5% service charge automatically being added to the bill then being made to feel bad because I didn’t want to pay that much. I’m sorry but in this country, expecting a near £25 tip for a meal for 4 is just too much. Tipping should be discretionary not expected.

It is a brilliant restaurant with excellent service. No one in our group of 4 had any complaints about their choices. I had the Cozze (Mussels, cherry tomato, garlic, chilli, parsley and white wine with pizza dough crust) that I've never had before but I will say it was so so very tasty. Should you make the same choice, be warned that it is filling and won't leave much room for your main dish. We will deffo go back. This will become a local favourite with us. A great restaurant with tasty food.

We went at Figo, to have a simple dinner, in the end we've had probable one of the best experience of italian food next to our door. The pasta and the pizza we've ordered were high above our expectations. My husband did appreciate the wine, though. Thank you Natalia for looking after us and for your recommendations.
