The best restaurants serving Italian food in Braintree East of England

The food was delicious, well presented and in sensible but not meager portions. Service was attentive without being obtrusive. Overall everything you could want for an enjoyable meal out. Also the prices were very reasonable.

We had a great Sunday lunch here. Friendly service and good food at a reasonable price. My wife contacted the restaurant in advance as she has some allergies and they made special dishes for her. This made us feel very welcome and cared for.

Myself and husband went highly recommend. Food can't fault. The lamb shank to die for. Service lovely two young ladies very friendly and helpful. As always Sir Frank the excellent host as always. You miss out if don't go trust me.

I am gluten free and found the staff very helpful with my meal choice. The meal was served marked with GF flags and was delicious. I recently tried to replicate the experience at the Convent Garden branch but was not such a reassuring experience. So my congratulations for the staff at Braintree for providing such a fantastic service.

Excellent lunchtime meal. Chain restaurants can be very hit and miss This one has to be considered excellent. Service was perfect. The place was absolutely clean and the food was nicely prepared and served hot Would be very happy to return. Well done to all the staff

Great value great tasting food. Burgers and kebabs are best in town, chips are well cooked and taste fantastic, we order delivery at least once a month and have never had a problem.

It once was a nice Italian chain-restaurant with a good kitchen which I visited every few weeks. Sadly that has changed dramatically over the last few years. Gone from good to bad to worse. Unfriendly waitresses, soggy, overcooked spaghetti for £18, and a salat I wouldn’t dare giving to my hamster was the upshot of my last visit. It will remain my very last visit. The manager did his best but not even he could save the evening. The restaurant is a poor shadow of its former glory. It’s a shame what greed can do…

Absolutely amazing food and drinks. Highly recommended. I ordered Avocado Toast with Omelette and Bacon, Full English Breakfast, Breakfast Baguette and Crispy Chicken Baguette with Fries. All came in perfect time and perfectly hot!!! I love their selection of food, all made fresh and straight served out of the oven hot, no fuss and no waiting game.....We had Coffee drinks and Milkshakes and all drinks were spot on. Although I am critical but cant find any excuse, they know what they are doing and they are doing it really well. The restaurant is very clean and toilet is spotless, nice environment and music selections. I will definitely recommend friends and family!
