The best restaurants serving Indian food in Ayr West South Ayrshire South West Scotland

not called jasmine now we visit down from Glasgow lovely looking restaurant good service its a byob but sadly the food wasn't to our liking was OK but wouldn't return

It's good to have a new Indian restaurant in Ayr and this one has the advantage of reasonable prices, large helpings and 'Bring Your Own Bottle'. The food was good quality with a great choice and some regional specialities. Service was pleasant and attentive and the restaurant decor is reasonable. Will visit again.

I used to live in Ayr and I had never tried Ayr India before. Always passed it in the car (yes I was one of those kids with the supped up car in the early 2000’s). Visited last week and was not disappointed. Excellent service, especially from Sharon who took an interest and was a great host. The food was brilliant and the service was quick. Will definitely return when visiting family in Ayr, and will use the takeaway service as well!! Fully recommend!.

Sharp practice in my opinion!! My family & l visited this restaurant on the 28th July, we noticed everything on the menu was set menu, price included starter & mains. We asked the young woman with American accent would it be okay to just have the main course without starter. She said “oh yes thats fine, have as little as you want” but she failed to mention we would be charged for the full set menu price regardless of “how little” we ordered. Absolutely Shocking that she charged us the full price. Food wasn’t great either in my opinion. We won’t be back!

Went on Sat night and had a brilliant meal. Staff were so attentive, service was brilliant. Will definitely go again and are happy to recommend it to others.

Service was excellent. Charging £8-10 for half a dozen small pieces of Pakora is taking the Michael. The nan was tasty.👍 Rice and curry again tasty enough but it was a very small portion for the price.🤔 so used to eating at sister establishments and coming away feeling stuffed. Drinks standard pricing. Overall a tasty meal but way too expensive considering portion sizes and competitors offerings. Would I eat again here... sorry no. Better view at the other establishments on the shore front for the same cost.
