The best restaurants serving Indian food in City Centre Manchester North West

My family has been coming here since the 1970s. The food is always excellent. The lunchtime fixed menu is very good value. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are super friendly.

My wife Val and I went yesterday evening again to one of our favourite restaurants. The food and atmosphere was first class but we want to thank Zahed whose service was exemplary , helpful and extremely attentive . Phil and Val

This has to be one of the go to places to eat in Manchester. Its great service, fantastic location and atmosphere and the quality and variety of food is just excellent value. I challenge anyone not to find something to their taste. Don't forget to try breakfast there. So much better than a Hotel fare. Enjoy!

Been going to this great restaurant for 30 yrs,but have been told it has closed recently. Are they back open. Does anybody know. Tks

La comida era 10 / 10 - no podía fallar en absoluto! Las bebidas estaban bien, tengo una mezcla de cócteles. Sin embargo, el servicio no estaba a la par con el estándar del restaurante. El camarero estaba morboso y no sonrió ni una sola vez. Él era corto con nosotros y grosero. Después de hacer una pregunta, lo vimos alejarse y poner los ojos en blanco. Hablé con él muy tranquilamente y no reconoció el hecho de que era grosero y en su lugar dijo bien que esa es su opinión. ¡Adivina quién no dejó un cargo por servicio!

Food was ok, as was the service. Pleasant enough place, drinks are pre-bought & paid for by the punters at a bar & not with the meal??? Odd set up really. Probably wouldnt go again but gave it a try.

I ordered from Delhi 2 go for the first time and I have to say the food was absolutely amazing, the delivery was fast, the service was spot on and the taste was 5 stars i will definitely order again from here 100% recommended!

We order from here quite regularly, food is delivered and is always hot and tastes great. When I have picked up my order from the shop it is lovely and clean and staff are friendly. Delivery and phone staff have always been great. Good Friday night treat.

Initially this looked quite appetizing, on the pricey side for a tub of rice and some top sauce (£7). I chose a Madras on this occasion. Food was served instantly and I set down to eat while I waited for two onion bajis (very tasty and freshly made £2). Meal temperature was luke warm at best which made me instantly feel concerned about the hygiene practices surrounding this meal. I had not eaten anything all day, fast forward 6 hours, travelling home I found myself sh**ing my ring out on an M62 slip road. The Luke warm meal I had suspected had performed as I had imagined. No recommendations here and this experience has put me off Indian food for a while for sure! I hope noone else had a sh***y Friday after visiting this restaurant!
