The best restaurants serving Indian food in Stratford and New Town Newham London

We stayed in the Roomzzz hotel close by which has kitchens (love the hotel too) and after our dinner reservation with a famous Indian Restaurant on the other side of London was cancelled by the restaurant, we tried this one out. What a great dinner we had, not expensive and very nice people (they even delivered the food after 30 minutes, so it was freshly prepared) and the food was delicious.

Ordered after a trip to the local spoons and could not recommend a better after-pub takeaway. Portion sizes were incredibly generous and the food was brilliant. The lamb doner kebab was without a doubt the best I have ever eaten, and the chips with chilli sauce was also great. Also ordered a can of coke and was sent 5! 10/10 would recommend

Me encontré con este lugar el martes por la noche y qué joya! El servicio fue genial, el interior del restaurante es moderno, limpio y tiene un ambiente encantador. . . . los precios eran muy razonables y el curry era uno de los mejores que he tenido. . . Estoy en la zona sobre todo y ahora he encontrado mi ir al lugar de curry! Gracias chicos, nos vemos el mes que viene

Ordered a tikka dupiaza and a murgh chicken, got a tikka chicken and a regular dupiaza (which is cheaper). Dupiaza was bad. Tikka chicken was ok, paratha was ok. Tried a new place but will go back to my old place. This wasn’t particularly cheap either.

We were very hungry and we needed a fill-up before the Fulham game, so we chose our favourites quickly. We had tandoori chicken with rice, a paneer wrap with masala fries and two mango laksa. Sadly my paneer wrap needed seasoning, there was hardly any salad and it was very dry, the fries were delicious as always. My husband loved his chicken but again there was just one salad leaf and the rice portion was stingy. I do think the food at Spitalfields is tastier, we won’t eat there again. I wish I’d had time to check the reviews before we ordered.
