Well what a absolute delicious place, we are on holiday here but wish we had this at home. The tbone steak was the best I have ever had , the baklava is to die for save room, definitely be booking again when we come to St annes ,the food is amazing, the lady serving lovely 🥰 4 of us cost £115 mains, desserts and soft drinks, 1 ouzo , bargain for top quality food 😋

We arrived and we were greeted by a nice, chatty young man at the bar. We got taken upstairs by a lovely, smiley waitress. The initial plan was to just have a couple of gyros, but we decided to go for the platter for two. For only £26 you get salad, dips, souvlaki, gyros, sausages, halloumi, chips, rice & bread. Bargain. Was really tasty too, plus the bar menu was decent prices too. Top notch, will defo come back. Was told about this place by a couple we met on holiday, glad they did.

Went last night for a meal chose the figos special it was absolutely gorgeous best meal I have had staff were lovely will definitely be returning with family and highly recommend.

The best gyros I've eaten was in a small stall in Aristomenous, Athens. The best gyros outside Greece I ate it in Iliarian, Eccles. Excellent service and amazing food.

Cannot rate the food highly enough, fresh grilled foods, spectacular tabbouleh salad, pizza also on point. Basic seating and decor adds to vibe of being a hidden gem... not so hidden as theres usually a short wait for a table!

Honestly I don’t think I have ever enjoyed a meal at any restaurant as much as I did at Sokrates. We had the meze and absolutely ever single dish was DEVINE!!! You can tell the chef pours his heart and soul into each plate and meal!! The staff were absolutely smashing, super friendly and attentive. Value for money is outstanding, especially considering the absolute quality of the food!!!! Not sure if this is a hidden gem but for me it would be the epitome of a hidden gem!!!! We will 100000% be back again and again!! And if you haven’t been, what are you waiting for?? Thank you Sokrates for the glorious food and stunning service and atmosphere!! BRAVO!!

Nice staff, delicious food and excellent service. When you visit St. Helens you should stop by Limassol. You can find a car park behind the main street.

Cuando tienes ese antojo de comida griega y entrega más allá de todas las expectativas. Cuatro mezes con cursos bien programados de nuestro camarero Mario. Los champiñones eran ricos, los langostinos, calamares y scampi deliciosos y pollo, cordero y cerdo jugosos y tiernos. Uno de nosotros no come cerdo, así que se añadió halloumi extra, un buen toque. Patatas adecuadas, crujientes por fuera y esponjosas por dentro. Todo ello bañado con un par de garrafas de buen vino de la casa blanca seguido de un gran pastel de chocolate, helado y buen café fuerte. Mario y el jefe Terry realmente nos cuidó, servicial hasta el final. Decoración y música justo. Gracias chicos, volveremos de nuevo!

Comida increíble - como siempre. Deliciosa - comida sabrosa, sabores auténticos. Nunca tenemos una mala comida aquí es mi favorita. Disfruté del entrante loukaniko & halloumi, giroscopios de pollo para principal y un café de postre, ya que estaba demasiado lleno para más comida tristemente!
