Jaffa in Preston

The food here is incredible. I had chicken shawarma with half chips and rice, and pitta and hummus. Insanely delicious! Partner had lamb shawarma which was equally as good! The seating area is small and you'll probably be close to other parties, it was hustling and bustling with a nice buzz. But do bear it in mind if you don't like close spaces.

This is hands down one of the best restaurants in Preston. It's gets very busy so I normally order a takeaway. Avoid Sat evening as it's quite hectic.

Food quality was great but was just salty. Rice and kofta kebabs were seasoned too much.

The sweets are allright..would suggest the cheesecake and rice pudding thingy..however not a fan of the pistachios having color in it.

The food here has been reliably fantastic for the past decade - never disappoints. The only catch is the size of this place; finding a table at peak times can be a bit of a mission, and once you’re seated, you might feel like you’re practically dining with the folks next to you. Not ideal if you’re after a private chat, but hey, at least you can bond over the food!

Always good to visit very quick service if you want a big plate of delicious food then go here you will be happy no matter what you ordered. Sit in is a bit of a hit and miss it can be very busy but they go take aways. Special sauce is on the table make use of it👌 cash only but they do accept bank transfer

Food is very tasty and delicious but we had bad experience with polish watres she is very rude we felt that she is racist she servesfood with with very bad face 😈 I feel bad to say that because the food is delicious 😋

Went to Jaffa tonight, our favorite Restaurant in Preston. Meal Lamb cops was excellent as it always is. After tried Their new deserts venue across the street serving Arabic style sweets and drinks. Very different and very very good,a fantastic change. Tried Arabic style ice-cream Absolutely brilliant. Well Done Jaffa we wish you all every success, you deserve it. best wishes Vass & Chris Kelly

Flawless, everything was spot on

I had the special Jaffa mixed grill. It was cooked really fresh. The meat was juicy and tender. I had mine with rice and salad. The salad was fresh and the rice was nicely cooked. The portion sizes were brilliant. I will definitely go back here or try a take out next time.

Ate here last night (lamb kabob) - exquisite! It was so good that, of the various dining options we'd considered for this eve, we unanimously agreed to come back. Excellent again!! Grilled meat seasoned just right, rice in large portion also with delicious seasoning, & accompanied by a fresh greens salad of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, parsley & red onion. We (age 70 & age 80) usually order 1 meal to split when eating out. Did that here & the VERY generous portions made that a wise choice. Every morsel was sublime. Although a small restaurant, if you want intimate, that's not here. Busy, bustling, laughing, friendly place to eat. Wait-staff & cook-staff non-stop hustle; wait time for a table & for your food, is amazingly fast. This eve the server who brought our meal, seeing that we were sharing it for 2, asked if we wanted more salad..... & brought us another one! Then asked if we wanted more hummus or some pita bread. We explained we'd only paid for 1 meal, that was too generous of her. Before we knew it, she was back with more hummus & pita!!! EVERY SINGLE STAFF PERSON that we encountered was so friendly and gratious. We leave town tomorrow a.m; if not, we'd be back to Jaffa for another marvelous meal.

Very delicious food Space is a bit tight, but the taste overcome the tight space. Highly recommend it.

The food is extremely wonderful and delicious. The next time we will choose Jaffa Restaurant again. In addition their staff are polite and friendly. Specifically, the Syrian waitress (I don’t know her name) is so kind and helpful.

Hi I’ve been with my brother and father yesterday and we was having a mixed grill with some chicken Shawarma.Food was great same as staff ;) We have been served bar talk woman with a glasses if I remember right .I think she was Polish.She was very polite and helpful.She explained as even the name of restaurant and how they keeping traditional recipes .Just amazing ! 100 % I will come back .Big Big thank You for every member of staff and especially for the lady which served us ;)

We live in Spain but when we are back in Preston uk we love going to Jaffa . The food is amazing ! Especially lamb chops and chicken kebabs the portions are large and you can choose the side order between salad , rice or chips or even have some of each . Jaffa definitely has a great atmosphere and is always busy . Cant wait till we visit uk again

The food was great , one of the best in Preston. The soft drink section is not that great, don’t have enough options.

Onions on burger when asked for no salad, chicken was pink and lacked flavour, wall was stained with weeks old food stains.

I recently popped into this restaurant while passing by, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the staff going out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their friendliness and attentiveness were top-notch, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. The food itself was excellent. We started with falafel and tabbouleh, both served with creamy houmous, garlic-rich toum, and what I believe was shatta sauce. Each bite was bursting with flavor—the falafel was perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, and the tabbouleh was fresh and vibrant. The combination of these starters, along with the sauces, was simply delightful. For the mains, we ordered two mixed grills, and I have to say, it was hard to fault anything. The meats were cooked to perfection, with a great balance of tenderness and char. Each skewer offered a unique and delicious flavor, making it clear that quality ingredients and careful preparation were priorities in this kitchen. In summary, this restaurant is a hidden gem with exceptional food and welcoming service. Alhamdulillah, it was a truly satisfying experience, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit even if your are 2.5 hours from us!!!

This food is exquisitely good. I went with my beautiful dad to have a meal. We ordered the margarita pizza and it came fairly fast. The cheese melts of the bread and the crust is cooked to perfection.

Vibrant, busy and lively is the atmosphere! Friendly, professional and well managed service. This place is always packed! And rightly so, good classic selections on the menu for everyone, their food is lovely, well seasoned, not spicy, great portions. Family friendly with children, clean and very affordable. I'v been a few times now with only Two people at a time, myself and a friend for £27 dinning in, always bring cash. You can order to takeaway aswell but its collection only. Can't wait to go back again. They are very considerate of all their guests and try to be as accomodating as possible.

Home cooked food quality and massive portions to match! A real delight to eat in. Although it is cheap surroundings, what do you expect? It's a sit down kebab shop. The kitchen is a furnace of fresh food being produced constantly. The aromas of good are truly mesmerising. There's a reason why this place is usually packed. Go and eat here, you definitely won't be disappointed!

Busy and one of the best restaurants to eat in preston. Food is top tier, prices are higher than most places but nevertheless good. Need more seating

Ordered food over the phone for takeout and was very disappointed. The chips were stale and tasted off, lamb chops had almost no seasoning. Rice was quite bland and just not up to usual standards. Very disappointed because we have eaten from here many times and this is the first time the food let us down and was unappetising.

I had an unfortunate experience at this establishment. They do not accept cards, and one of the staff members was discourteous regarding the payment process. Additionally, the ambience was not conducive to a pleasant dining experience. The food did not meet my expectations, which was particularly disappointing given the positive reviews I had read.

The customer service given by Hisham was exceptional.

Best restaurant in the north west

We had a platter Small and busy place, toooooo busy, no place to seat and you have to wait. Got the impression that it is not the place where you can stay back for a tea and dessert, rather eat and leave to make space for new customers. We were 2 adults sharing a platter. It was enough portion but if you are very hungry then better order something additional. Food okay, not much taste to it, just grilled meat with no seasoning at all not even salt. The white and red sauce saved the meal adding a bit of flavour to it. Rice on the contrary was overfilled with the spices. It is CASH ONLY establishment so make sure you come prepared. Not sure what is their reason for denying card payments... It is highly recommended place but the dish we ordered is not something I would go back for. Maybe other things are taster than mixed platter.

Great place to dine I had the seafood pizza today made by Ali and he gets the pizzas perfect everytime I've been coming here for sometime now and I am never disappointed aside from the quality of their pizza there are other dishes which I have also tried and all were tasty its money well spent for sure

Stopped by to have a quick meal . A very popular and busy place. We took a mixed grill platter and it was very good. Service can be improved. Unfortunately they accept only cash. The cash machine is the right opposite the restaurant or near Tesco which is a few minute walk.

The food, omg wow. Portions were crazy big and simply delicious. I went with my whole family (12 people) and there was plenty of seating for us all. The service was excellent and the food was ready within 10 minutes. Would highly recommend.

I’ve been travelling miles to get Jaffas takeaway for years & Dined there a few times. The Lamb chops are to die for & whatever you do get Jaffa Rice it’s scrumptious. I struggle to change my choice it’s that good. Toby my Nephew (17 LOVES Thr Pizza) Simply cheese & tomato & I’ve tasted it & forget Dominos. I be just read the 2nd Revue about cash only CLOWN never dined here - hopefully never will. Think if you own a really successful business with a tsunami of regular cust who know it’s cash only - WHY would you pay the clearing banks a transaction fee. He would be moaning if you stuck 25p on his bill. You Hv to many Loyal customers & he can’t find a cash machine & hasn’t tried the food. THE FOOD IS AMAZING
