Was passing through, and just came to Preston out of chance, so glad we did, we live 5 hours away from here, and the food is so good that i was contemplating coming back to get more (specifically the kunafa, it got devoured within seconds). The calzone is also delicious, the fish wasn't as good as the rest of the food, it was alright, but not amazing. Overall top quality food. 🤤 If i ever travel that far up north i will definitely come again ان شاء الله

Omg!! Stumbled upon this by accident & we are so glad we did!! Probably the most flavoursome mixed grill I've ever had and the halloumi was cooked to perfection 👌🏽 We were in Preston for some work from Milton Keynes so a 3 hour journey away, but we both said we wish we lived nearer so that we could eat here more often and taste other things on the menu. Service was also spectacular and toilets were clean 😀

The food here is amazing and very fresh!!! The service is super fast, even on busy days, and the staff are very welcoming. I'd advise going a little earlier than closing time as I find that when there are a lot of customers coming in for food before they close. Jaffas isn't a big restaurant. However, there is a decent amount of seating. Customers are encouraged to leave after eating. We usually eat and leave within the hour or 1.5 hours. Jaffas is reasonably priced, and as a group of 6, we tend to have a large regular order, and it usually comes in around £10/£15 each. Highly recommend this place !

One of my favourite restaurants of all time! Incredible food, service and staff. I don’t think there’s a single thing that I have tried from here that I don’t love. The consistency and maintenance of the standard of food is also fantastic. Some favourites include: - chicken shawarma ( half chips, half rice ) -falafel - tabbouleh - hummus - baba ganoush -chicken pasta with creamy cheese sauce - pizza ( create your own by choosing 6 toppings - tomato base and cheese count as two of these 6 though!)

I was a bit disappointed with the food as my lamb kofta was too salty. My plate literally went back untouched. The staff came to clear the plates and asked if I wanted to have the food packed, and I told her no due to the fact it was too salty, but she didn't really acknowledge it. Well, I wasn't just going to look at a plate of food without eating it!! Won't be going again, really disappointed!!

I wish I could give you 6 stars! I was there twice and I wish to have this place locally in Oldham where I live. Freshly prepared food, and these flavours! Absolutely amazing 🤩 First time I tried the Palestinian coke and it was really good. That was a surprise! I hope to be there soon with my friends again.

Just straight up great food at a great price. Lovely staff and the quality has not even dropped a single bit since I used to come here during my uni degree some years back! I recommend the steak burger and wedges, absolutely divine. Of course give the special sauce a go too. Tried the babaganoush this time round too and it is amazing. My friend tried the mix grill platter and it looked out of this world. Do yourself a favour if you’re in Preston and eat here! They do only take cash as far as I know, but there is a cash machine at the Tesco next door :)

my friend used to frequent here many years ago and decided to bring me today. i’m so glad he did! it was delicious. we started with the houmous and baba ganoush which were lovely ! my friend got his regular degular steak burger (which was as good as he remembers) and i got the jaffa mix grill. usually kofte is my least fave part of a mixed grill for me but jaffa’s was really delicious and flavourful ! the chicken and lamb pieces were succulent and the lamb chop was incredible ! would definitely recommend dousing everything in the special sauce !!! the star of the show really was the WEDGES . get them if it’s the last thing you do

Delicious food! We came here for our works Christmas do and we weren't disappointed. Chicken shwarma was delicious. Lamb chops looked amazing too! Service was brilliant and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Looking forward to sampling Jaffa desserts soon too!

I had heard such good reviews about Jaffa, and I recently visited this place, and it's absolutely true. The food is amazing and we enjoyed it very much. The service is good too, nice friendly staff.

The food is absolutely impeccable, and it’s no surprise the place is always packed every time I visit. The staff are friendly, hardworking, and incredibly accommodating, even with the constant hustle of such a busy restaurant.

The food was amazing, so so tasty. The hospitality and service was impeccable from start to finish. Although it was extremely busy when we came in, we were seated within 10 minutes and food came about 10 minutes after we ordered. Beautiful flavours. I feel their portion sizes are not really ideal if you want to share, unless there’s an option for a full version. Thought the mixed grill was quite a small portion with only one kofte and one lamp chop. However, a very heart warming meal with fabulous flavours. They have also recently opened a Jaffa’s cafe where they sell baclava, basbousa and other delights - would highly recommend. We went there for desserts and again, the portion sizes are great and definitely a great fix if you have a sweet tooth. Hopefully will be coming back soon.

Best food in town but they tend to hush you along fairly often and don't have up-to-date furniture or tables.

I visited here for the first time. And it was a complete disappointment. The plate they call mixed kebab consists of 80% rice, potato chips and salad or hummus and they present it as kebab. If you say hygiene, it is up to God. The experience I gained here is that it is not about what people eat but everything about whether a place is popular or not. I congratulate them for being so popular with such a quality service.

Called in for a “light” lunch. We ordered 4 wraps, which were delicious and really filling. Most people were ordering bigger meals and we’ll definitely be back to try the mixed grill. Staff were friendly, service was quick, toilets clean and prices good (cash only.)

Great place for charcoal grilled Mediterranean style cuisine. Informal setting. Excellent authentic dips including hummus and baba ganoush and grilled meat mains are exceptionally good. Big portions and unpretentious eating experience. All about the food at Jaffa

Last minute post Christmas family meal for 7. All the food was fantastic. I had the Shish Kebab with chips and others had chicken and pizza and mixed kebab. All brilliant. Very friendly helpful staff. Parked at Trinity Square. Can't wait to return. Go to Jaffa across the road for desserts. Huge Baclava selection, milk shakes, you will love it.

High price and low quality of food,not a clean atmosphere, no one wears a cap or mask for hair and long beard while cooking

Staff members are very rood especially long hight old lady talks very rood. Food is dry when served but u cant complain because they don’t apologise.

The food here has been reliably fantastic for the past decade - never disappoints. The only catch is the size of this place; finding a table at peak times can be a bit of a mission, and once you’re seated, you might feel like you’re practically dining with the folks next to you. Not ideal if you’re after a private chat, but hey, at least you can bond over the food! Did NOT accept card payment on our visit. Staff verbally confirmed the food here is halal.

Absolutely amazing food. The portions are on the large dude. It all looks and smells delicious. Best pizza I have had in some time. Make sure you visit the Jaffa over the road for afters. I had pistachio cheesecake it was divine. The guys who run it are lovely. Omar is lovely and so sweet. Don't miss it

The food here is incredible. I had chicken shawarma with half chips and rice, and pitta and hummus. Insanely delicious! Partner had lamb shawarma which was equally as good! The seating area is small and you'll probably be close to other parties, it was hustling and bustling with a nice buzz. But do bear it in mind if you don't like close spaces.

This is hands down one of the best restaurants in Preston. It's gets very busy so I normally order a takeaway. Avoid Sat evening as it's quite hectic.

Food quality was great but was just salty. Rice and kofta kebabs were seasoned too much.

The sweets are allright..would suggest the cheesecake and rice pudding thingy..however not a fan of the pistachios having color in it.

Always good to visit very quick service if you want a big plate of delicious food then go here you will be happy no matter what you ordered. Sit in is a bit of a hit and miss it can be very busy but they go take aways. Special sauce is on the table make use of it👌 cash only but they do accept bank transfer

Went to Jaffa tonight, our favorite Restaurant in Preston. Meal Lamb cops was excellent as it always is. After tried Their new deserts venue across the street serving Arabic style sweets and drinks. Very different and very very good,a fantastic change. Tried Arabic style ice-cream Absolutely brilliant. Well Done Jaffa we wish you all every success, you deserve it. best wishes Vass & Chris Kelly

Flawless, everything was spot on

I had the special Jaffa mixed grill. It was cooked really fresh. The meat was juicy and tender. I had mine with rice and salad. The salad was fresh and the rice was nicely cooked. The portion sizes were brilliant. I will definitely go back here or try a take out next time.

Ate here last night (lamb kabob) - exquisite! It was so good that, of the various dining options we'd considered for this eve, we unanimously agreed to come back. Excellent again!! Grilled meat seasoned just right, rice in large portion also with delicious seasoning, & accompanied by a fresh greens salad of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, parsley & red onion. We (age 70 & age 80) usually order 1 meal to split when eating out. Did that here & the VERY generous portions made that a wise choice. Every morsel was sublime. Although a small restaurant, if you want intimate, that's not here. Busy, bustling, laughing, friendly place to eat. Wait-staff & cook-staff non-stop hustle; wait time for a table & for your food, is amazingly fast. This eve the server who brought our meal, seeing that we were sharing it for 2, asked if we wanted more salad..... & brought us another one! Then asked if we wanted more hummus or some pita bread. We explained we'd only paid for 1 meal, that was too generous of her. Before we knew it, she was back with more hummus & pita!!! EVERY SINGLE STAFF PERSON that we encountered was so friendly and gratious. We leave town tomorrow a.m; if not, we'd be back to Jaffa for another marvelous meal.

Consistently served best middle eastern dishes

The food is extremely wonderful and delicious. The next time we will choose Jaffa Restaurant again. In addition their staff are polite and friendly. Specifically, the Syrian waitress (I don’t know her name) is so kind and helpful.

Hi I’ve been with my brother and father yesterday and we was having a mixed grill with some chicken Shawarma.Food was great same as staff ;) We have been served bar talk woman with a glasses if I remember right .I think she was Polish.She was very polite and helpful.She explained as even the name of restaurant and how they keeping traditional recipes .Just amazing ! 100 % I will come back .Big Big thank You for every member of staff and especially for the lady which served us ;)

We live in Spain but when we are back in Preston uk we love going to Jaffa . The food is amazing ! Especially lamb chops and chicken kebabs the portions are large and you can choose the side order between salad , rice or chips or even have some of each . Jaffa definitely has a great atmosphere and is always busy . Cant wait till we visit uk again
