Kri Kri in Cheshire West and Chester

Ate dinner at Kri Kri again on a Friday. Warm welcome and inviting atmosphere. We shared the Hummus and stuffed mushrooms to start - best stuffed mushrooms ever. Mains I had the Sea Bass - amazing - so well filleted and cooked to perfection - all served with rice and roast potatoes - all mains were exceptional. House wine very good and so reasonable by the glass or bottle, includes Merlot too. Husband had chicken in wine and cream which he said was fantastic. Service with a smile from the staff and everywhere very clean. Finished with coffee and Baileys. Already looking forward to going back. Large car park to rear and 5 minutes walk from 487 and 22 bus stop in Brook Street.

Used to be really lovely food with quality ingredients but really letting itself down now with cheap chicken and salad . Also ordered my favourite tahini and it arrived as watery garlic mayonnaise! It was horrible . I asked if they had changed their recipe but was looked at in bewilderment and not offered an alternative despite obviously being unhappy with it and consequently not eating it . Very disappointed as it used to be one of my favourite places to eat .

It appears this establishment has undergone a noticeable decline from its former glory. Once a cherished dining spot, it now seems to rely heavily on sourcing items from Aldi, including basic condiments like Bramwells mayonnaise and even the salad components. The shift from quality ingredients to more budget-friendly options, such as the sweet and crunchy bag, is disappointing and indicative of a significant shift in standards.

Great place with excellent food, not quite Greece but it is Little Neston. Mixed grill and home made hoummas are amazing. Really friendly staff and prices reasonable. One of our regular haunts

Dinner yesterday was excellent - both the food and the service. As a starter my wife had the stuffed vine leaves and I had charcoal grilled octopus. Both were excellent both in terms of quality and portion size. We followed with charcoal grilled prawns and lamb souvlkaki. Again excellent. Dessert was home-made baklava: same again. Altogether a very pleasant experience so strongly recommended. We'll definitely visit again.

Never had a bad meal. Absolutely love everything on the menu, the prawns and the octopus are both fantastic. Portion sizes are very generous, especially if you get the mezze. Service always amazing, by far the best restaurant in Neston and probably my favourite on the Wirral!

We have been a number of times to Kri Kri and have never been disappointed with both the food ,service and the overall experience. Our recent experience was no expectation a special celebration with family and friends thoroughly enjoyed by all. You always get an real authentic Greek experience with a highly personal and attentive service by the extremely friendly family team both front of house and within the kitchen.(excellent skilled by the chefs team) Our party of 12 all choose well from the varied and comprehensive menu. Starters are really excellent, value for money and generous in portion size. Breaded mushrooms in cheese delicious .grilled aubergines, white bait meze dips ,Greek salad all served with generous baskets of delicious Pitta bread Mains included really delicious plates of charcoal steaks(Sirloin, Rib Eye and Fillet chosen by 3 people) with mushrooms, salad and chips, Sauces to match. Chicken breasts in sumptuous sauce served with rice and Greek potatoes, Delicious meat balls along with stifado Strawberry and chocolate cake with sauce and ice creams completed a thoroughly enjoyable an excellent meal and evening celebration

Would highly recommend the Kri Kri, it is our absolute favourite restaurant! Such incredible, authentic food and always brilliant service. Great value for money too.

Brought friends who have never eaten here before on a Saturday evening. I had Hummus to start and husband and friends had the meat balls - liver and the Feta cheese dip - all loved their starters and said best feta dip they have tasted outside of Greece. Mains i had the Stifado - amazing lean chunks of meat that so lean and tender, Friends had the steak - mixed grill and the lamb shank - all served with rice and roast potatoes - all mains were exceptional. House wine very good and so reasonable. Already booked to go again when our friends come to stay next month as food was that good. Service with a smile everywhere very clean.

Not the first time we dine here. A cozy and atmospheric place with which many memories are associated. Very tasty and satisfying food. Attentive and helpful staff. Ate mid week for dinner. Everywhere very clean, warm welcome. We shared humous and pitta. I had the Beef Stifado which was excellent - meat just fell apart and sauce delicious. Husband had the meat balls - which he loved. Service really good and with a smile. Already planning our next visit with friends.

Great food and a relaxing environment with great service

A large group of us, yet service was quick and efficient. The food is great and not overly priced. Drinks are reasonable too. We had a great time.

I can’t believe we’ve missed out on this gem for so long. Been three times in the last month, it’s the best food I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious and incredible value for money. Will never bother with pub food again now.

Ate here for the first time early Saturday evening - its gets very busy and would recommend booking, We shared starters - filo samosas and hummus. Mains husband had mixed kebab and I had the beef Stifado. Everything tasted great and my Stifado was superb, tender meat that just fell apart. Service very friendly and with a smile. Sine reasonable and even sell carafes of wine and great value. Great atmosphere.

14 of us ate here last for a family occasion. Couldn't have chosen a more perfect place. Everything was excellent. Couldn't have asked for more

We loved Kri Kri all over again! First time visited two years ago when stayed at Thornton Hall hotel and we loved it. We loved it so much that even now we decided to visit again. The staff is really really friendly which makes the atmosphere really nice. The food is just delicious! Served quickly, hot and super tasty. We ordered tzatziki, Greek salad, lovely feta cheese in pastry with honey drizzling, chicken souvlaki & moussaka. We loved every bite of all that. The portions are really good and souvlaki comes with potatoes and rice (don’t know what is it about the rice but it was extremely delicious!). The prices are really good too which definitely persuaded us to visit rather than eating in the hotel! We’ll definitely visit again soon! Thank you.

We don't often get Greek food as there haven't been any Greek restaurants near home, so we had to try this. Great food, welcoming atmosphere, and great service. We had Stefado and Kleftiko, both of which were excellent, and the bill was entirely reasonable.

My favourite restaurant in Neston! Pleasant traditional surroundings with amazing food and lovely staff. How do they make potatoes and rice taste so good?!

First time we've visited, we'll definitely be back. Food was superb.

Whilst the food was nice we were met with a horrible welcome! As we arrived we were told twice that we only had the table for 2 hrs together with being told as there were so many of us we couldn’t have the early bird menu. Our elderly parents treated 12 of us and had been looking forward all week.we didn’t stop for coffee and deserts and wish we’d not stayed. Won’t return… the only nice person was a lady waiting on…

Booked a takeaway for New Years Eve with them a week in advance. Told them the time I wanted the order and that we’d collect it early as I know they struggle with takeaway at weekends or busy times. When I came to confirm it we were simply told “full for takeaway”…so what’s the point of calling to confirm and thinking you had NYE sorted out. At no point we’re we told that we needed to pre-order or we would have. The food may be good here but have been consistently let down by Kri Kri on takeaways. What really gets me is that during covid we ordered takeout quite a number of times from here while they were forced to close the restaurant but yet as a regular they are quite happy to turn their back on you.

I order today a chicken souvlaki from this restaurant and they give me 5 pieces of chicken and RICE, I never knew that the souvlaki include rice. I am very disappointed, taking in consideration that I live for 3 years in Greece, I will never order and take from this restaurant anymore

The best Greek restaurant on the Wirral hands down.

We noticed a very steep rise in the prices of both the food and the drinks but most disappointing was the meals were smaller in size. I won't be returning.

Went to a wedding there, fantastic food, lovely service, the owners were very nice. Generous wine measures as well. I will definitely be returning for meals as it has a real nice atmospheric feel to the place

My son and daughter in law just had a small wedding reception here. The staff went out of their way to make everything memorable, from the service of courses as and when we wanted them, to the serving of the meze menu - everything came to the tables piping hot. The variety was excellent and, as usual, far too much food! We were struggling to finish everything! A great little restaurant, with the authentic Greek touch.

Honestly, I can't complain the restaurant is easy to access, free parking the staff are nice and the menu has enough to choose from. I just personally, don't like the food but because a member of my family like it then I go. The place is always busy, it's popular so try and book ahead. Just don't expect anything ground breaking

Probably our most favourite restaurant, on the Wirral. Whenever we're here, we always feel as if we're on holiday, in Greece. The food is outstanding, wonderfully authentic, flavoursome and a huge selection. You couldn't want for friendlier, welcoming staff.

We went here for my sister's birthday meal and ordered the meze food was ok but the service was very poor between each course it felt very rushed and we did not enjoy it at all especially if you are a slow eater like my mother

Seemed very crammed, very noisy, won't rush back.

Food wasn't as good as hoped, some of it tasted so hot, in my opinion, it can only have been microwaved. Reastuarant was very cold making it hard to enjoy the meal. Owner seemed reluctant to turn the eating up despite request from elderly patrons.

First time here and we both absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was great and the food even better. Lovely starters abs the main course of the Pork Souvalaki was delicious. But, then to top it all, the desserts were even better. We will be back here again.
