Fantastic staff and lovely steak pie. Compliments to Jay the waiter for his welcoming manner and communication skills and one of the chefs Martyn for asking me if my meal was satisfactory. It was. More than.

Text: The Brasserie restaurant (also called the Terrace) is a family restaurant at the Crieff Hydro hotel. Place is open for breakfast and for dinner. The French onion soup at dinner was excellent. My wife enjoyed all her dinners. Wish the restaurant would increase the vegetarian options that are very limited. Excellent & very helpful staff.

Met my husband for lunch after he played a round of Golf whilst in St. Andrews. Our waitress was super friendly and professional. Unfortunately that’s the only positive. £12 for a Tuna sandwich with wilted brown salad leaves is not good value even in this setting. Garlic mushrooms with no garlic (which were returned and re-done) which again were expensive. Massively over charging for sub standard food. Husband used the bathroom and his words “service station toilets have better standards” Overall experience not great and I’m sure even the waitress was embarrassed by what was served.

Booked a dog friendly room at the Mishnish. Once the booking was CONFIRMED by them by email we proceeded to book onward accommodation & ferries. 48 hours later we were emailed again by the Mishnish cancelling our booking, saying they had no dog friendly rooms. A phone call to the MIshnish resulted in them offering us a dog friendly room, which they had available, AT EXACTLY DOUBLE THE PRICE OF OUR ORIGINAL BOOKING. (Was left wondering if this was a regular thing as there was no surprise on their part, no explanation or apology, and no offer to negotiate on price ....) I'm not quick to leave negative reviews, if ever, but I really wouldn't want anyone else to find themselves in this position. I tried to provide the Mishnish with an opportunity to sort out this problem but was met with a stony silence, they had the means to assist but no interest.

Arrived having had a fall and despite having customers the ladies offered first aid and were very kind. The crepes were delicious, great choice, fresh tasty and not to be missed. Staff really attentive, excellent customer service.

Went tonight. £5.50 for 3 over cooked and tasteless churros.. Or cooked earlier and heated up again. Google reviews are obviously from friends. A total waste of money. Won't be back

We booked the Mint Brasserie after reviewing it's web pages that offer award winning food and a wide variety of international dishes. Whilst the international dishes were offered, the standard of food we experienced was far from award winning and was very over priced for what we received. Adding to our disappointment was a poor and down market atmosphere. We both wished we had walked away when we saw it from the outside. I cannot recommend this pub/restaurant.
