The best restaurants serving French food in North East Lincolnshire Yorkshire and The Humber

Booked meal for 6.6.23 they closed with no notice leaving me and a lot of other people with vouchers and no refund many suppliers are unpaid too They took my booking tho!!!

Arrived after having booked a table earlier. No table ready and looked surprised we had turned up although we were listed on their bookings sheet. Had to wait a while until a table was made ready and a manager found and consulted. Took a while for our order to be taken and the food (Roast Sunday Lunch) was very nice. I attempted to contact one of the serving staff by raising my hand 3 times, there was no response. A person waiting to be served a drink at the bar decided to sit down as he had waited so long for someone to turn up at an empty bar and serve him drinks. I wanted a dessert but no one came to check on us throughout the meal to see if we wanted another drink or dessert. Eventually I gave up and decide not to have one. Interestingly enough a group leaving as we were eating complained to the Chef that the service was very poor but his food was lovely. Seems like a similar experience to ours.

My husband and I dined last night in celebration of a promotion. The food, service and ambience were all incredible. The mixologist whose name I didn’t get was exceptional. He makes the elements that go in to the cocktails himself. I had the best negroni I have ever tasted. It had layers to it. Just beautiful. The food was all exquisite and memorable. I was just a little disappointed in the dessert. I had the pistachio frangipanis tart. We will definitely be back. We love that there is an establishment of this calibre in our home town.

All we chose was off the menu / service terrible / even the coffee was disgusting Never again - no atmosphere no staff around to serve they won’t last long !!
