Booked meal for 6.6.23 they closed with no notice leaving me and a lot of other people with vouchers and no refund many suppliers are unpaid too They took my booking tho!!!

Visited with a friend last night. We are both a little fussy about how food is cooked and presented. We were not disappointed in any way. Food amazing, service, fabulous. Staff lovely, very respectful yet friendly. Cannot fault in any way . Will definitely be returning

Sunday lunch not perfect!! I had the chicken dinner was lovely although to much red cabbage! Hubbie had the beef was as tough as old boots! Just could not cut through it!! The phone constantly rang and staff never answered so went into being recorded got on your nerves to be honest keep hearing the answer phone kicking in! Service was slow, staff unsure names of the drinks they were serving? Some training issues need addressing! We will not be rushing back sadly!

Tiny portion of onion tart served with a bit of rocket garnish for the main. I asked if I was waiting for a side dish and the waitress said it doesn’t come with anything, potatoes are extra. Friend ordered chicken, portion was better and came with potatoes but she left most of it as chicken was tough. Overpriced and we left hungry. I called for chips on way home!

I visited with my Mum as part of her 80th Birthday celebration it was lovely and busy, which gave it a great comfortable ambience. We had booked and had a lovely corner spot perfect for people watching. We had the afternoon tea for two and it was beautiful cannot recommend enough. Staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble even taking our photo snd sending it to me as we had both forgot our phones!. We will definitely be back again.

Booked online and it never mentioned that we only had the table for two hours!! Meal was nice, very overpriced, especially the desserts! Waitress was pleasant, service was good ish! After finishing the desserts a waiter came over, after being at the table for 1hr 40mins, to say 'we need the table in 10, no 5 mins' quite abruptly, no offer of coffee, in otherwords we want you off the table! We didnt even have to ask for the bill it was presented to us as soon as desserts finished! My annoyance is, we went out to celebrate a birthday, spent nearly £250 between 6 of us in what we were to think was a decent restaurant but have spent longer in a cafe with coffee and cake, never asked to leave my table! Will never return and would definitely not recommend.

Terrible food and service. Steak was cold and Parmesan chips could only describe as unrecognisable overcooked scraps. On the other end of the spectrum my 12 year son burnt his mouth on the fish pie that was scalding hot. Would not recommend this place and as a regular customer I was extremely disappointed the price is over inflated for the quality of the food and service. Drinks were forgot no manager came to speak with us & left to the inexperienced staff to deal with. Would not recommend this place and will be taking my custom elsewhere in the future.

Meal was ok by the time we got it was past eating, poor staff never said about a wait didnt seem to no what they were doing. .have been again place was empty has lost its atmosphere , tables were still not cleared shame use d to be a vibrant place

Service was terrible! Waiting over an hour for food & only offered one tepid coffee & tea upon arrival. Shameful asking for £25 per person for basically a quarter of a sandwich & quiche! Worst afternoon tea I’ve ever had & would definitely not recommend. Mother’s Day ruined!

I booked the table online, for my friends birthday, when we arrived at the restaurant the lady unfortunately couldn't find the booking for us, but she still seated us anyway. We sat there a few mins then the lady came over to ask us for our drinks, my friend had hit chocolate and I had tea. The tea came in a little tea pot,and also I got a little tea cup. The lady had taken out order for the food with the drink order. After waiting probably 15 mins the tea for 2, was brought out and it looked absolutely beautiful. I have never ordered this style of food before, little croissant, sandwiches, little quiche/tart. The top layer had a lot of sweet deserts on the top, creme brulee, lemon compote, brownie , etc. The cost of the food was £40.00 for both of us. I would definitely visit again because the food was incredible.

Met a friend for a festive lunch the week before Christmas - the food was delicious and we had no complaints about the service or our wait time. Everything was lovely!

Travelled over from West Yorkshire for a walk with the dog at the seaside. I had done quite a bit of research and this looked like a great dog friendly restaurant. On arrival asked if there was a table for two and a dog. Man’s response was “No”. That was it. No “sorry we’re very busy “ or “if you’d like to wait ( certain amount of time) we can accommodate you “. No it was just “No”. Very disappointing and not the service I would have expected.

Honestly, the best Sunday lunch I’ve had in ages. Was a little sceptical when it arrived with red cabbage and brussel sprouts (not my favs) but they were DELICIOUS and I ate the lot !! My husband booked a table for early lunch to celebrate our forthcoming wedding anniversary. We were first to arrive, slightly early at 12:15pm but were led to our table immediately. Staff very friendly and courteous. All wearing masks & reflecting social distancing which was nice to see. We were asked if we're celebrating as we ordered French fizz, and we were congratulated on our wedding anniversary. The young male waiter in a lovely olive green suit kindly surprised us with a chocolate brownie and a firework sparkler to mark the occasion which was a lovely touch. Food was very nice band although the restaurant got busy very quickly it felt good to finally be able to eat out indoors again. The only reason I haven't given my review 5 full stars is because I felt the tables were too close together, and when the restaurant became full it made me feel very anxious. I appreciate that after being closed for over a year the restaurant needs to make it's money, but when I'm less than 50cm from the back of a diner on the next table it just doesn't feel safe to me.

Can’t fault this restaurant. They helped us out when we were let down by someone else. Outdoor under cover with heating, fabulous cocktails and afternoon tea. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. The team were helpful and smiley with brilliant service.

Petit Delight delivers the best Sunday dinner around the beef is so tender and the vegetables cooked to perfection would highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious. Beef was melt in the mouth, mash was creamy. Slightly disappointed that the gluten free option was just minus the stuffing and Yorkshire pudding - would have expected these as gf as the price was the same for both meals. Will definitely order again though. All very tasty.

Wife did this as a surprise, thank you xxxSo order food & arrange delivery slot. We had main & pudding & bottle of wine. Roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast & mash potatoes, carrot, red cabbage, green cabbage with leek & green beans, cauliflower and cauliflower cheese, gravy. Pudding, profiteroles & chocolate sauce, Raspberry & almond frangipane tart with cream. Any special needs with regards main advertised menus and they are more than helpful to help. This was such a fantastic service from ordering to delivery( hope it wasn’t to much of a shock I asked if I could take a photo). I’m so happy this is helping you keep serving your delicious food. In strange times, it’s such a great idea to deliver these treats to our doorstep. A massive thanks to all that have made this possible. You are helping deliver not just great food, but helping us all see the light at the end of the tunnel. Really hope you carry this service on once we get out of lockdown. Ordering was so easy online, the food arrived on time, the gentleman delivering was very nice and friendly.The food was fantastic, I had the vegetarian pie & mum had the beef which was cooked to perfection. The portions were large,we did manage every last bit.Would definitely recommend and we will be ordering again soon.

First time trying the takeaway valentine's meal which didn't disappoint. It was £100 for 2 meals, including a bottle of wine. Which was perfectly packed with recyclable packaging.There where clear instructions to cook the main meal. And it tasted amazing.There was so much in this package that we had some pate and bread, cheese and biscuits for the following days breakfast. And we had the remainder of desserts and fondue for the following evening.It was money well spent. Well done to everyone involved.

I ordered a Sunday lunch to be delivered . It came exactly on time and was very well presented . Tasted as good as it was when I ate it in the restaurant last year . 12 pound . Absolutely recommend and will definitely order a delivery again

Ordered a take out to be delivered for date night. 2 courses for 2 with a bottle of wine delivered for £42.50. (5 mile radius for delivery). which is excellent value. We had Chicken liver pate and the pulled pork asian bun for starters and we both had the burger for our mains. Everything was superb with plentiful portion sizes. Delivered at the time we asked for it to arrive. Can highly recommend Petit Delight.Also all the packaging used is fully recyclable which is good to see.10 out 10 from us.

We ordered the New Year's Eve box, picked it up at our convenience, and finished the (minimal) prep at our leisure. Absolutely delicious menu, great value - the French "fizz" was very good - and the leftovers were great too. Thanks, Petit Delight.

2nd Sunday lunch from here and qasnt disappointed. Opted for roast turkey and it didn't disappoint. The fresh vegetables are fabulously cooked, the meat is tender and the gravy....oh the gravy is delightful. The staff are great, from the initial phone call to order to the delivery to your door.Would highly recommend. Come on let's all do our bit to support our fantastic restaurants.

We have just eaten an evening meal for two delivered about ten minutes late, but that was not a problem as the wine was cool and the starters hot enough. We had to blast the main meal in the microwave for a minute ( only to be expected as the restaurant is 30 minutes away) it was fabulous would recommend to anyone to try. Can’t wait until you open again for real , marvellous thank you

This is second time we’ve had a Sunday lunch by collection and again it was really good and wholesome. There was plenty in the way of both meat and vegetables and the brownie was rich and chocolaty.The ordering was straight forward and after a quick phone call to say the food was ready it was waiting for us to pick up.Petit Delight never fails in providing good quality food

We have had the Sunday lunch delivered for the last 3 Sundays and it’s the future. Fantastic meal delivered to your door. Takes all the hassle out of a roast dinner giving us more precious time. Perfect, thank you.

Had a lovely meal here with the family recently, everyone commented on how nice the food, service and ambience was, big thanks to Jack and the whole team, we will certainly back soon.

We came here last minute with no booking and they managed to get us in straight away. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was absolutely delicious. The range of vegan options on a separate menu was also fab with choice of starters mains and deserts!!! Very reasonably priced too for the quality of food.

We declined to eat here at first due to another customer who was clearly drunk and very loud, however the Manager won us round by his understanding and handling of the situation, and seated us in the bar area of the restaurant on our own. Luckily the loud customer soon went. The food was lovely and we were so pleased that we stayed. Congratulations to Jack, the Manager, and Elliott who served us, you both do a great job and we would go back if we are ever near Cleethorpes agani. Kate & Ian

Yesterday evening (Tuesday 13th October) our eldest son took my wife and I to PetitI Delight to celebrate my 70th birthday. The food and service was fantastic! I ate the best T-bone steak I have ever tasted... and I've had a few over the years. My son and wife opted for the monkfish which they thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you Petit Delight. Hope to see you again soon.

My wife and I went for lunch and it was superb, we had starters and a main with a lovely bottle of wine, compliments to the chef we were blown away with your braised beef,Also must give a first class for the service as we were looked after for entering to leaving so thanks too everyone and will be seeing you all again very soon

Visited last Saturday (19th September) for a friend's birthday lunch. The menu was very enticing. We sat outside in the very lovely court yard as we took our dog. The staff were extremely friendly and safe considering covid. Plenty of sanitiser stations around and track and trace adhered to. I opted for the buffalo falafel wrap. Wow. 1 of the nicest I've had. Served with sweet potato fries and salad. Was truly delicious and very filling. Prices extremely reasonable. Overall a lovely afternoon at a lovely hidden gem. Will definitely very paying another visit.

When you want a meal and you have two dogs with you it is often a case of settling for second best, but not here. It was a lovely day and we were given a table in the courtyard although there was an under cover area available as well.The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help, especially with the covid 19 policy that the restaurant operates.Our meals and drinks came in an acceptable time, the food was good and we felt safe throughout the visit. We had intended to go back later in the week but we moved on.

Fourth visit for lunch, we arrived and they had my name wrong on the booking and the table was wrongly booked for an hour later by the staff member on the telephone. We did not feel that our custom was valued, felt that the staff were not friendly or attentive, before, during or after the meal on paying.

Had lunch here, drinks served to the table , reasonable priced left alone to view menu without being hurried which was nice, had the pie chips and peas , the pie was very nice and tasty , but frozen chips ? For £ 12.0 , my partner loved the sticky toffee pudding .

Couldnt fault a great meal today. Service very accommodating. Asked for the dessert of the birthday boy to be fancied up and the waiter was more than happy to oblige. Look forward to returning.

Myself & wife on holiday for a week on Cleethorpes, booked the restaurant in the morning through the website. Lot of varied options on the website, we chose the Chateaubriand which was cooked ideally to our required medium rare request. The staff were attentive while showing respect to all the required COVID19 regulations. Would recommend for couples, the venue doesn't appear to be best suited for larger groups while didn't look at the kids or vegetarian options. A good find in an otherwise fish & chip saturated market.

What a shame that this lovely restaurant has allowed such a pompous waiter/ floor manager to practice his rude dismissive manner and spoil what was once a friendly, accomodating venue.

We visited today and was very pleasantly surprised at just how great this place is. Lovely ambience, Elliot was a great waiter and answered our dietary requirement questions and could not have been more helpful. The food is superb, excellent quality and really exceeded our expectations. We don’t live locally but return to visit family and friends and we are normally left disappointed when we eat out as we are truly spoilt for amazing produce and places to eat where we live. However this was our first visit to Petit Delight and it was not just on par but arguably even better than some of our loved places to eat back home. Would definitely recommend a trip here for not just special occasions but with family. The children’s afternoon tea is fab and the children’s menu offers a really good selection. We were welcomed as a family with young children and never made to feel like anything was too much,which is not always the case at other establishments.

Had a lovely couple of girly hours in this cozy friendly restaurant. The staff can’t do enough for you. My mums in a wheelchair and they was very helpful and considered her needs. The food was a beautifully served and tasted gorgeous.

My partner booked petit delight as a surprise for my birthday and the whole night exceeded expectations!The atmosphere in the restaurant was great and the staff really attentive, even given the current COVID situation. We felt safe and that all the regulations had been adhered to by all the staff.We both ordered the pâté to start, followed by the chateaubriand for two. The steak and accompaniments were perfect, the best steak I have had locally for a very long time! The night was topped off by a brownie for dessert and the staff signing happy birthday, such a lovely touch! Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be returning very soon! 10/10 from both of us!

Wonderful bistro type eatery . Outdoor and indoor seating and very adherent to COVID rules. We all enjoyed our food. I did thank the chef for the best Croque Monsieur I had ever had. Certainly worth a visit. I will be going back .One small detail not everyone likes Sauvignon Blanc white wine. That meant I would have had to buy a bottle if Chablis.
