The best restaurants serving French food in Poole South West

We dined from the lunch menu . All top quality. No point in carrying on. Let’s just say excellent in all respects, food, service and atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

We absolutely LOVE St Tropez - we have been a few times now and the food is always exceptional, the staff are amazing and the atmosphere is brilliant. We can't wait to go back!!

This great coffee shop never ceases to amaze me ,you go in at eight and the bread ,cakes and savorys look incredible stacked so high but by eleven the staff have been flat out so much has disappeared ,I can't think of anywhere else that is as popular for food as this place and the coffee is dreamy,we are a bit addicted but then we've never been disappointed

Delicious Sunday lunch with family. The roast beef and chicken were tender, vegetables beautifully cooked and plentiful, roast potatoes crispy and tasty, enormous Yorkshire pudding and endless gravy. What’s not to love?! Surprisingly two of the party found room for dessert and enjoyed an excellent selection of ice cream and sorbets. Good atmosphere in the restaurant and there were plenty of people relaxing outside too.

Another fabulous meal at The Guildhall Tavern - a family favourite for many years! Our waiter, Daniel, was very attentive with a great sense of humour. The food is always top notch and with the Friday Night Steak Deal, it was even better value for money than usual. Would thoroughly recommend!

Very friendly service. We only ordered drinks and cold cheese and meat sharing platters. We thought the portions were very small for the money.

Booked for Christmas lunch with the family looking forward to great food and service. Unfortunately the day turned into a complete disaster. Starter took over an hour, the main more than an hour and a half and the sorbet course didn’t even materialise. The quality of the food was very sub standard.
