The best restaurants serving French food in Poole South West

On arrival I was greeted at the bar and seated quickly , I asked for a different table, as wanted to be seated near to the singer, they moved us to a closer table with a smile. The food and drinks order was taken and delivered quickly . We were delighted with the food , I had veggie roast and my 24 year old son had the Beef . OH MY GOODNESS Food coma !! so delicious, we forced ourselves to have a creme Brûlée for pudding which was the best I have ever had !! We had two coffees and then left . We will be back , so friendly so delicious , Thankyou

Cozy ambience, excellent service! Ordered monkfish medallions and Giant tiger prawn as main course, which I loved every bite of it. They have pretty good vegetarian options too. For the desert we ordered chocolate sphere, a must try for chocolate lovers. Overall one of the best restaurant at Poole!

Delicious Sunday lunch with family. The roast beef and chicken were tender, vegetables beautifully cooked and plentiful, roast potatoes crispy and tasty, enormous Yorkshire pudding and endless gravy. What’s not to love?! Surprisingly two of the party found room for dessert and enjoyed an excellent selection of ice cream and sorbets. Good atmosphere in the restaurant and there were plenty of people relaxing outside too.

I have been here before, but on that occasion I had fish - which was amazing. This time it was a table of 10 people for Sunday lunch - celebrating a 90th Birthday. And it was superb. The food was epic, top quality, and plenty of it. The service was faultless. Great atmosphere due to the restaurant being full. Thank you, you made our day.

We visited on a Tuesday night, and I am delighted to provide this review. The staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere was inviting. The food was exceptional and very tasty. 1x Bavette steak and 1x flat iron steak beautifully cooked and presented along with delicious Portuguese house red. I cannot recommend Tandy enough we will be back. 😁

Booked for Christmas lunch with the family looking forward to great food and service. Unfortunately the day turned into a complete disaster. Starter took over an hour, the main more than an hour and a half and the sorbet course didn’t even materialise. The quality of the food was very sub standard. Have eaten there before and had great food but this time it was really awful. A Christmas Day ruined
