The best restaurants serving French food in Poole South West

It was good overall. We felt the parsnip purée wasn’t as creamy as the previous years we’ve come. Usually it is very creamy and smooth. Also the main mushroom pasta wasn’t as creamy or tasty either. The French onion soup and the crème brûlée were extremely nice though. Seriously good. Just wish the main was a bit better.

We have been here many times before and will always be our favourite restaurant. Today we visited for the first time with our new addition to the family, our 11 month old Grandson. The service is always second to none but the way they accommodate you with a little one is heartwarming and above and beyond. Seb opened the side doors for us to make for easy access with the pushchair and every member of staff payed attention to our little man and treated him with such care and attention like a valued customer. Our grandson didn't eat much of his lunch so they boxed it up for him to take home. He is on a dairy free diet and the staff made sure all his requirements were met and explained everything else on the table for us.Thank you to everyone for making our lunch so enjoyable and special St Tropez

Delicious Sunday lunch with family. The roast beef and chicken were tender, vegetables beautifully cooked and plentiful, roast potatoes crispy and tasty, enormous Yorkshire pudding and endless gravy. What’s not to love?! Surprisingly two of the party found room for dessert and enjoyed an excellent selection of ice cream and sorbets. Good atmosphere in the restaurant and there were plenty of people relaxing outside too.

We had a lovely meal tonight. The steak and lobster special. Daniel was superb and made us feel right at home. We will definitely return!

Truly a gem of a restaurant and bar in the heart of Sandbanks! We went for the Sunday roast menu and it did not disappoint. The beef was cooked perfectly and the chef even made the roast potatoes extra crispy for us, just how we like them! Their wine list is equally impressive with some great wines and a few unique options too. We got to sample a few before choosing a delicious bottle of Chilean red - 2022 A LOS VINATEROS BRAVOS 'VOLCANICO'. All the team were smiling and made it a wonderful time. We can’t wait to go back! Booked for Christmas lunch with the family looking forward to great food and service. Unfortunately the day turned into a complete disaster. Starter took over an hour, the main more than an hour and a half and the sorbet course didn’t even materialise. The quality of the food was very sub standard. Have eaten there before and had great food but this time it was really awful. A Christmas Day ruined
