Lovely place to eat, relaxed atmosphere, french cafe theme with friendy owner/staff. Delicous food perfectly cooked, we had hake and honestly I think its the best I have ever had. Imaginative french inspired quality food. Can't wait for a theme night! Contrary to an earlier review they do NOT add a service charge to the bill, I checked with the owner and he said no, not even for large parties.

Really delicious and tasty food close to downtown. Lovely service, polite waiters. The atmosphere in the interior is interesting, modern, fashionable.

Amazing food and beautiful wine. Great choices for the vegetarian members of our party, they had the Ratatouille lasagne and the Franc’s Bouillabaisse. My husbands steak was perfectly cooked and the Chicken Supreme was delicious. Tash was a great host and made the night even better. Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone visiting Liverpool. We will be heading back next time we are there.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel for three nights and eat in the restaurant on two nights. Unfortunately, the first night was not very good. My wife is Gluten Free and the choice on the menu was very limited. In the end a meal had to be adapted and she finished up with salmon on a bed of salad. To say that the salad was just thrown together would be an understatement. Then for dessert, the only choice was a fruit scone and, believe it or not, they did not have any. My meal, and those of our friends were OK but you can't mess up fish and chips. However, for a hotel of this standard, we certainly did not think this acceptable. My wife made her feeling felt to the restaurant manager. He said that they were having a management meeting the next day and that he would raise the issue. He must have done because, the next time we went in for dinner, any choice my wife would make would be adapted to suit her diet. Well done but, surely, there should not have been the necessity to have to have a confrontation over a diet which is not a fad.
