Omg can't believe how amazing this restaurant is,been here a few times now and each time it just gets better and better. Came here for our anniversary 15th march ,yugan (sorry if I got name wrong) was outstanding he couldn't do enough for us such a lovely personable person.The service is out this world,every member of staff was very happy ,smiley and polite.The food was absolutely perfect , decent size portions ,hot,and value for money. The atmosphere was brilliant ,soft music playing in the background just how a restaurant should be . a perfect anniversary . Can't wait to return.Thank you bistro franc we had a lovely lunch .

Ate here recently with some friends and had an amazing experience. The service was excellent, all of the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food also didn't disappoint. I had the paté for a starter which was great and then the lamb shank for a main. The portion was very generous and the lamb fell off the bone, it was cooked perfectly. Finished the meal with a creme brulee which was also excellent. Highly recommend

The worst codfish and chips that I have ever had . The fish portion was small,overcooked and dry as well as only being lukewarm. Totally disgusting price of£35 for a crap meal. Never again will we use this establishment.

What an Amazing Mothers Day meal out today. Food Amazing as ever, Lamb to die for melted in my mouth. The service today was exceptional from Tasha, she literally couldn't do enough for Us. The whole team are a credit to Bistro Franc. Thanks for a memorable day

We went for the deal that is on a Thursday - £27 each for two course and a bottle of wine between the two of us. It was brilliant! The food exceeded expectations and the service was brilliant. Would definitely go again.

Never disappoints in here, the food is sublime and the staff are superb, come back again and again. Special thank you to Euan who is just brilliant such a lovely person who has that special something to make you feel at ease and relaxed, such a great people person !

The service from entering the restaurant to leaving was excellent, lovely friendly staff. Some ate from set menu and others from a la carte, food was lovely and they were very accommodating to dietary needs. Already booked to return with friends next week.

Fabulous service, so friendly and nothing too much trouble. We had the three coarse special and was not disappointed, every course was excellent. Price wise well worth it, 3courses for under £25 each.

Met up with some friends for lunch- we had 3 course set menu which was great value and the choice was really good. Very attentive and friendly service from Tash. Would definitely recommend and we will go back . It’s so close to Liverpool One so perfect for a lunch and shopping trip.

The food was lovely- 3 of us and every plate of each corse empty. A couple of cocktails and wine and the set menu which was really good value. Really friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Thank you to Tash and Eugene who were very attentive.

Lovely place well worth a visit. We visited yesterday for dinner and drinks. My husband had fried Camembert and I had the mushroom soup, which were delicious. Mains were sea bass, again delicious, and beef bourginion which was superb. The restaurant has a warm ambience and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Justine, however, was exceptional. So professional yet approachable and friendly. I dithered over which cocktail to have and she made me one based on my preferences. I have to say it was a winner ! We will definitely be returning. Thursday menu, 2 courses and half a bottle of wine each. Well worth a visit.

Another visit to Bistro Franc and as per usual the food and service were great. Friendly attentive staff, helpful with menu choices and wine pairings. We had three courses and each dish was a delight. Highly recommend their Duck and Dauphinoise main course - perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Their Steak main course was also a winner. If you're a sticky Toffee Pudding person then you can add ice-cream And custard if you ask nicely ! This is one of many visits here and love that the food is consistently good. Great value for money too.

A great place to take someone for a special meal, or for a nice family friends gathering. Staff are very friendly, cheerfull and helpful. The sort of place that brings water to your table without you needing to ask for it. Very nicely decorated adding to the specialness of the restaurant.

Fantastic food and staff!! In a nutshell - perfect texture and temperature of food with beautiful balance of flavours, further accompanied by a fantastic team! Entrée - BOULETTES DE POULET Chicken meatballs were cooked with a subtle herbal aroma, served with a tomato compote topped salad and of course, slices of baguette. The compote was spot on with its slight spiciness that works well with the creamy chicken. Plat - FILET DE MERLU POÊLÉ Hake was fried to perfect texture and the scallops were just the best I’ve ever had! Imagine running the knife with minimal resistance when cutting it. Cauliflower purée was airy and creamy and topped with chorizo crumbs enriching the flavours. Legume - RATATOUILLE I couldn’t help but to endeavour an extra course following the brilliant compote. Modest plating served with cous cous (I’ve cutoff some cous cous as the main was very filling) may make one underestimate this classic dish, however a burst of richness and freshness will prove the otherwise. They did it right!! Dessert - CRÈME BRÛLÉE Beautifully caramelised malt sugar brought richness in flavour for this classic. Best texture I’ve ever had in the Northwest - slightly runny and crisp. This variation features a kick of citrus that balances the sweetness. Cointreau added combined the flavours together in an impeccable harmony. Staff Shout out spéciale to Javier, who was so friendly, knowledgeable and has given me great recommendations - wine pairing was spot on! The whole experience was further elevated with my pleasure meeting the head chef! All the staff I’ve meet was exceptionally helpful and kind. I’m very grateful to this great team.

Best meal we have had in a long time! I had the sea bass and my partner had the lamb shank, both were beautiful! Starters were lovely too and great atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

A great French restaurant. We took the special deal which is 2 courses plus ½ bottle of wine each. Excellent value for great food. My fish (sea bass) was cooked to perfection. This was the first time we'd been seated up on the balcony and it's great up there, looking down on the main floor.

My friend and I enjoyed lunch at Bistro Franc on Friday, 15 December. We were served by Tasha who was very welcoming, friendly and provided good service. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the food was good too.

Didn't expect to get a place as not booked & so close to Xmas, but staff were excellent & went out their way to get us a table. So cosy and lovely food at good prices too!

What’s happened!! Haven’t been for a while for one reason or another, used to go quite often. The prices have gone through the roof! . It used to be such good value. 2 courses for around £ 20.00 now it’s £30 and the food isn’t as good. Bottle of dry rose is now £27.00! This was a Wednesday afternoon. Sad to say this is now off my list. Not great or good value any more!

It really is a great place for a small group to do lunch. 5 of us today from 2.30. The service, food and VFM makes it expectional.

First time here. Recommended by a friend. Not disappointed. Lovely surroundings (I like the big soft dining chairs - very nice), the service was really nice - the servers were all great, happy to have a bit of a chat and very helpful. The food was fab. I had the deep fried camembert with honey to start, then the beef cheeks and my friend had the chicken meatballs followed by the pork belly - mine was superb and my friend replied the same. Dessert was the chocolate pyramids for both of us - again, excellent. Quite pricey - just over £100 for 2 incl a couple of drinks each, but the quality was really first class. Recommended.

The onion soup was like dishwater, the lamb shanks were so dry and had so little sauce that we were offered mint sauce to make it edible. The duck was tiny and disappointing. Just avoid this place, it’s not worth the cost and disappointment.

Disappointed that there were no offers on a Sunday which meant our meals were VERY expensive and also felt the price of a coffee was extortionate. Serving staff were very pleasant but service was very slow. Then to add a service charge of 10%service charge was the final straw. Won't be going there again as there's plenty of choice in Liverpool and I've certainly had good and in some cases better service and food for less.

Lovely afternoon and catch-up with friends. The food was great but staff member Tash was the stand-out for the afternoon - She knew the menu, ran the floor and couldn't have been more attentive to our table. Honestly an asset to the place!

We've been a few times now and really like Bistro Franc, it has a nice 'vibe', the food is consistently good and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Overall magnifique, we'll definitely be returning soon.

Popped into Bistro Franc, Hanover St, Liverpool for dinner early evening and our host and waitress was Tasha. Have to say she was an exceptional waitress. There was a chap who served the starters and bread and he was very pleasant too, but I didn't get his name. Iv owned an award winning Tearoom so I know good staff when I see them. It was such a pleasure to be served by such genuinely friendly and attentive young staff who seemed to enjoy serving you and wanted you to enjoy your dining experience. The starters where lovely but the main courses where just ok, although I did enjoy my vegetable Wellington. I like the atmosphere in Bistro Franc and with the staff being so genuinely attentive it makes for a very pleasurable dining experience so I would go back again. The staff and environment I give 10 out of 10, but the food an 8/10. Had a lovely big cappuccino though.

Nice food and staff.Dont fall for paying the gratuity of 10 % which is appalling If you wish to leave a tip just pay for food and drinks and leave your own tip without been put on the spot.The 10% is a discrase.

We booked a table after reading the fixed price menu advertised on their website, 2 courses for £19.50. When we arrived, we were given a Christmas menu, 2 courses for £30. When we asked about the original fixed price menu, we were informed that they were only serving the Christmas fixed price menu on the 11th November? . When we pointed out that the £19.50 menu was being advertised on their website, their answer was that there is a problem with the website. We spoke to the manager who said the same but was not willing to suggest a compromise and appeared totally uninterested. We left and went elsewhere. Very poor customer service.

I can't fault this restaurant on any level! Ambrosial food, tasteful decor and friendly staff make Bistro Franc a must for anyone visiting Liverpool. Those who enjoy the occasional Old Fashioned will be especially pleased with the standard of mixology. 10/10 in every department.

Without doubt one of the best meals on our trip so far. Beautifully prepared French food I had a bouillabaisse and Liz had a lamb shank. Both were absolutely perfect and went well with a glass of Pinot noir.

Came as a surprise for my birthday with my girlfriend - my first experience of French cuisine in Liverpool. Hidden in plain sight on Hanover Street, Bistro Franc is a beautiful authentic French restaurant. We took advantage of their wine and dine Thursday deal - £27 for two courses each and half a bottle of wine each (so you don’t need to pick the same one). The service from Tash was fantastic and it was a real treat - the beef bourguignon was nice and rich and the duck superb. We had a special starter and dessert, so would recommend asking what the specials are as they were both great. Thanks team!
