Crompton's Restaurant in Liverpool

Unorganised...tasteless food...you have to pay for tea coffee...it's a shambles don't go....menu is thoughtless same thing each night...

Visited with my daughter during our mini break in Liverpool. Food was lovely and very good quality and the ladies who served us couldnt have been nicer nothing was a problem and they were so friendly. Will definetly go again.

We were not expecting such good food and service in this intimate little restaurant in the Adelphi. Helen, Chloe and other staff were very welcoming and accommodating and the food was very good, and well priced for a once top hotel.

Me encanta este restaurante. Nuevo menú. Tuve cordero, compañero tenía salmón. . También albóndigas para empezar y patear. . . botella de ros. . . Todo fue excelente, delicioso, agradable y caliente. Hermosos alrededores, agradable personal educado. Me dieron una botella de champán para mi cumpleaños. Gracias. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante. . Excelente valor también.

He estado aquí 3 veces en trato Groupon. . Primera vez el año pasado, excelente comida de 3 platos. La segunda vez que fuimos, en lugar de una botella de vino completa, nos dieron 2 vasos pequeños y una comida principal de carne de peor calidad. 3ª y última vez otra noche. El mismo menú que el último pero el llamado bistec lleno de cartílago y resistente. En su lugar, ofrecieron pollo, pero no querían esperar otros 20 minutos más o menos. Como Groupon no hay reembolso ofrecido. Es una pena pero necesitan un replanteamiento.

We enjoyed our meal here and the staff were friendly. The wine waiter was sweet but needs more training re the wine he is serving.

Estábamos alojados en el hotel y habíamos hecho un montón de caminatas y estábamos cansados, un aviso en la habitación decía que hacían el mejor bistec de Chateaubriand en Liverpool, fuimos a donde después de las 7 pm y solo había otros dos allí, una bebida en la zona del bar antes era buena y pedimos nuestra comida, querían que partiéramos desde lejos, dijimos unos 30 minutos, nos preguntaron unas cuantas veces si estábamos listos.Cuando llegó el bistec, fue excelente, cocinado raro como pedimos, puede ser tan bueno como otros en Liverpool, pero ¿cómo se puede comparar sin probarlos todos? La casa roja era muy buena y no muy cara. La otra pareja se fue y otra cena llegó justo cuando estábamos a punto de salir a eso de las 9. 30 PMLa próxima vez que vayamos a Liverpool, si estamos buscando un bistec, podemos intentarlo nuevamente.

Decided to try this instead of main restaurant, we were charged 7,50 each extra and the couple we were with were charged 15 each. Ouch... my food was very good and I was happy to pay the 7.50p but not 15. Pudding was definantly Tesco bargain cheese cake , not good at all

Fui por mi cumpleaños en julio, disfruté la comida, así que vine por el cumpleaños de mi compañero, ¿qué puedo decir? La comida estaba deliciosa, comí gambas, mi compañero comió la ensalada y luego compartimos un chateaubriand. Cocinado a la perfección, preciosas verduras como guarnición, fabulosa botella de vino, entorno limpio, personal agradable. . . . . me encantó, lo recomiendo altamente

Sentimos una sensación de tensión mientras esperábamos una hora para una comida. Le doy a esto dos estrellas generosas, ya que la cocina estuvo bien si no es emocionante. El personal parecía completamente inexperto, como uno de ellos decía constantemente "No se preocupa", mientras que otro logró obtener un pedido completamente equivocado. Si este restaurante aspira a una buena comida, y los altos precios sugieren que sí, entonces debería considerar la introducción de manteles, manteca en lugar de mantequilla de girasol y panecillos de pan más presentables. Podría seguir. Para nosotros, queriendo una experiencia gastronómica especial, esto fue un desastre.

The service was slow and lacked professionalism. Staff seemed eager to chat to each other rather than provide help to guests. When the food arrived it was ok but there were no French wine apart from Champagne on the wine list. Argentina, Italy and other places but would have liked French wine as the restaurant is allegedly French. I suspect that the food was actually prepared in Jenny's carvery which is close by and that is what the dealys were all about.

Excellent food, very pleasant staff. Best place to eat at the Adelphi. Can highly recommend the prawn starter. Just a shame about a wrapped butter pat on each plate and no butter knife, small moan but it did let down what was otherwise a lovely meal.

went here for my birthday, I hadn't been in a while, so glad I chose here. Meal was fantastic, had a bottle of wine too. Staff were polite, lovely clean restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommended, will be returning for my partners birthday in October.. Ignore any nonsense you read about the hotel and visit this lovely restaurant.

The hotel could do with updating but the quality of the food and the friendliness and helpfulness of the manager and his staff was excellent. We started with king prawns and pate and shared a lovely chateaubriand which was perfectly cooked to our request. We also had mixed vegetables with it - one portion is enough for two. Our offer included dessert but we were too full to order any. Many thanks to the manager and our waitress for a lovely evening
