The best restaurants serving Fast food food in Southern NI

Excellent fish and chips. Drove down to shop which was very busy but didn't have to wait long. They gave you a hand held beep which vibrated when your order is ready. Well organised take away.

Needless to say I will not be back to dolphin, I ordered a chicken burger with cheese, bacon and sauce, the bill was rather pricey considering I only ordered a burger, it wasn’t until I got home when I realised I was charged for A) the bacon 80p B) an “extra” cheese slice 30p even though there is only one slice on the burger and C) charged for a 2 oz sauce dip on my burger, more like a small dollop on the burger. 85 PENCE! I have been going to dolphin for as long as I can remember and never felt so cheated! I will not return.

Best fish supper ever...sooo fresh. Ten minute wait as everything is cooked fresh to order....proper proper takeaway yum

I got the mixed Döner kebab plate on chips, twice. It was very flavorful and tender, and a good portion! Good value for the price. If I lived in the area I would go here all the time. Be aware though, it is a cash only place.

This is now called Mc Cann’s but I gotta tell ya folks it’s quite poor quality. First of all the prices once again are London prices. Why? This place is well out of town and I doubt it can justify its prices either on location or quality. The cod was thin and the batter just alright, but the chips were a disaster. In the same portion some were perfectly cooked yet some were still raw in the middle and none were great flavour. How can this happen as I really don’t know. I really find it inexplicable just how terribly bad our local fish & chip shops are yet they charge top whack. I mean just 20 mile away I can get first class cod fish & chips, a soft drink and I can sit-in and have the food brought to me, and all for a lower price. So I’m giving up on our local fish & chip shops as they are annoyingly poor quality and I’ll continue to visit the Pit Stop in the centre of Kilkeel. What an awful shame that I have to.

Took me 25 minutes to get a 4 piece mini goujon meal when the shop was empty

The food gave me Diarrhoea. Pizza was undercooked looked pretty much raw, got a chicken chip kebab as well and the chicken was red, something like you would see in a chicken tikka masala, tried it anyway but went straight through me, I also asked for no salt and vinegar but there was a ton of salt already on the chips. Wont be back

Just had the festive chip and have to say delicious. Battered Brussels were on point. Highly recommend trying this before it goes off the menu. 10 out of 10

Apparently cold chips and rubber like chicken doesn’t get a replacement just £3 off. Sat waiting for edible goujons to be brought but was never coming. Not a care in the world by the girl dealing with it 🤦‍♀️ came out hungry but that’s ok I got £3 off 😂 never again
