Nantuckets in Craigavon

Used to enjoy the food here, has went downhill badly, the cheapest most tasteless ingredients, disappointed

Took my 9yr old son to the Portadown match last night. Visited Nantuckets and stood in queue choosing what he wanted. He was really looking forward to a cheese burger. While placing my order I was told that they do not accept card payments, but there was a cash machine beside (staff member was very nice so no reflection on them). NB only someone who has a physical card can withdraw from that machine… I had ApplePay on my phone. In 2024 I find this so backward for anyone running a business. In this day and age most people have phones that make payments. Most businesses have terminals to accept this. I understand that the business pays a fee for credit/debit card transactions but that is no excuse - every business that accepts cards is the same. It’s a very very small (if not negligible) cost to doing business. Of course the other cost is that you actually have to pay tax on that income but that’s a side issue. Incidentally, the wee man in the wee food van at Shamrock Park is forward thinking enough to have a card terminal. My son enjoyed his burger and chips from the van and did I and his grandfather. If the business owner reads - for goodness sake get with the times. How many people carry cash now days?

Burger was deadon but chips where awful.... Very expensive then I took really bad cramps in my stomach and a dose of the runs and have not been feeling right ever sincei was absolutely fine until I ate here ..

Freshly cooked food. Friendly staff. Spotlessly clean.

Would like to thank nantuckets portadown for supplying party food for my sons 7th birthday 🎂 🥳. Every one loved the food. It was all delicious 😋. Would highly recommend for parties 🥳

Chips were quite dry and overcooked- like they had been fried a few times. Battered mushrooms were lovely and so was the chicken goujon wrap. Decent portions

A frequent take-out spot in Portadown for us. Food is always high quality. Excellent service, and the restaurant is always clean and tidy. I have sampled most of the burger options, and they're all good. The Muck Box is a favourite, especially at Christmas. Special offers come up on their Facebook site and are excellent value for money. I don't know if they accept card payments yet; there is a nearby ATM.

Got the family burger meal, excellent quality and not greasy. Very nice, will definitely visit again.

Best chip shop in County Armagh if not the world.

Chips were crisp and dry, unfortunately fish was very greasy and I dumped more than a third of it after I got a mouthful of bones. I will never eat here again

Not a bad chippy overall but like most places they have good and bad days. Worth keeping an eye on their fb page for deals which are quite good value

Great food...running like a well oiled machine. The staff are meticulous. The food prep is spotless and place is very well run.

Again, for the trillionth time. Still forget to ADD SALT AND VINEGAR, despite asking for them to be sure....... Same old crap rushed service. Food is epic and prices are great... Shame!

Amazing feed from here, great menu and kids menu.. Everyone was well satisfied

Occasionally have messed up my ordered food but always mess up with Salt etc despite being stressed and reminded during the order and collection stage.... Shame as food is tasty (when home fixed) and value for money.... Staff are pleasant...kitchen is very clean...

Absolute best chippy I've had in a long time. The food wasn't greasy and the quality was great. If I had to fault anything, it would be the size of the gravy and curry dips. I personally love dipping, so I'd love a slightly bigger portion. Other than that, the staff were great, the food was piping hot and really well cooked.

I diddent get what I ordered I ordered 2 chicken fillets with 2 chips I got1 chicken fillet and a chicken leg which I hate

Was accused of lying ordered a £15 box was given a super chip instead at the start. Said I was given £15 change when I hadn't had to show her wallet to prove that I had ordered the £15 box and only given £5 change as I had gave her £20 so couldn't even get that right. To top it off there was meant to be 4 pots of dips only got 1 pot of dips they couldn't even get that right. Will not be back!

Been here a few times before normally very good... but sadly on Saturday the chips were really poor (undercooked and hard)

From phoning till delivery amazing very polite staff and service up till tonight I was a Nantucket virgin lol the food arrived piping hot and was delicious thankyou to all your hardworking staff

Place has slowly started to go down hill.

Food not very good .got a fish and it was thick with batter the tinest bit of fish in it.very disappointed.

Absolutely terrible food. Soggy fish, chips that taste like they've been cooked 2 or 3 times. Also they taste and smell like they've been fried in dirty cooking oil. We will never go here again. Fried chicken that was soggy and tasted of dirty cooking oil. Curry sauce was just a lump of bland mess.

Fish supper was big enough for hubby and I to share! Great chips and fish freshly battered and all done to perfection

Definitely one of the best Chippies in town and very handy to get to. On the site of the old petrol station at the end of the Brownstown road. Family £15 deal at the weekends was a bargain. Burgers delicious. Chips excellent.

Generally a good local chippy. Has been usually quite good, on par with some of the town's best chippies.

My son of a bum burger was first class. Also my hubby got breast of chicken on the none and it also was first class. It was our first time. And staff very pleasant and place very clean we will be back. Think good of this comment as my hubby normally would find fault on something. Keith and linda

First time trying here for a fish supper and it was delicious.

Love the chips possibly the nicest I've ever tasted. Like most things on the menu just not fussed about the burgers

Can't review as I was ignored from I walked in till the 3 customers before me got there order's and left. Staff talked amongst themselves whilst I stood on my own. I duly thanked them for ignoring me and took my custom elsewhere. First time in here, definitely my LAST TIME. Would not recommend to anyone.

Food is absolute trash here. Got a cod supper. The fish was like rubber and dry inside the chips were hard. It's a fish and chip shop and they can't do that right. Honest opinion I'm surprised people pay for the food here

Got a chicken burger and chips, chicken was dry and stringy the bap was also dry, chips were not great either, this was my second time here and will be the last, first time wasn't great either.

Good selection of burger options and chips are available small or large.reasonably priced.needs a bin outside tho and something to decorate the red shutters even if it isn't theirs
