Lamentablemente, como gran parte del resto de Borough Market, este lugar no está a la altura de su bombo. Las omnipresentes barreras de tensa, la maldición del mercado, te guían por una ruta hacia un banco de tabletas electrónicas, que tienen el beneficio de protegerte de hablar con el personal indiferente. La comida, servida descuidadamente en cartones de cartón para helados, es un mantillo de manzana procesado pobre con crumble mal cocido extendido por encima, rociado en natillas tibias de mala calidad. Su nombre se grita cuando su pedido está listo (la única interacción con el personal (como decir, un positivo)). Todo el lado del puesto tiene un estante para comer, literalmente de 18 pulgadas de alto en cajas de alimentos usados. Curiosamente, hay un cartel que te ruega que no fotografíes al personal cuando tomes tus fotos en las redes sociales. No te preocupes equipo, tampoco creo que hubiera riesgo de que alguien fotografiara. No te molestes en hacer cola, simplemente no vale la pena.

Have visited this restaurant and both time enjoyed the food. The Kulcha thalli is good value for money and the paranthas are quite heavy but very tasty. Our French friends really enjoyed the food and experience of visiting this restaurant.

Este lugar cambió. Plato muy aceitoso y la calidad tanto de pescado con patatas fritas eran bastante malos. Es una pena, este lugar solía servir uno de los mejores chipspy en el sur de Londres.

Este es un pequeño café agrietado. At around 7.15pm, I ordered cod and chips. The assistant pointed to some pieces of pre cooked fish and asked me to select. None of the fish looked great and so i asked for how long it had been cooked. She assured me ‘only a short time ago’. A five minute car journey home and I discovered that the fish was only luke warm. The batter wasn’t crispy but limp and disgusting. I thoroughly reheated it but hardly ate any of it. The chips were hot but lots of small hard overcooked bits of chips. I called the restaurant and they said that the next time they wouldn’t charge for the same order. Who in their right mind would return? At this time of night they are clearly more interested in selling off their pre cooked fish than caring about its quality or their customer experience. My advice is to keep well away from this restaurant.

Deliciosa comida y un servicio al cliente excepcional por sirin. He venido aquí un par de veces en el pasado y siempre he disfrutado de la comida. Las patatas fritas son increíbles.

I don’t know who reported this place permanently closed or when because in March 2024 I can report it as being very much alive and kicking. Apparently a French Thai street food chain this single London branch perhaps illustrates the French have little clue how to present Thai food. Certainly not in the cardboard boxes with plastic cutlery as served here. Even more extraordinary was the service of wine by the miniature bottle in a cardboard cup. Sacre bleu! Are the French even poking fun at themselves.

Si tienes hambre en Charing Cross, ¡definitivamente debes probarlo! Las mejores envolturas en Londres. Fácil de comer, barato, delicioso. Muchas opciones de carne y verduras. Lamentablemente no hay asientos para los días lluviosos.

This location (like some others) is showing closed on their website. Our first experience was last summer when they still had restrictions in the restaurant – food was served in disposal foil trays, sauces were in sachets and bottomless drinks were not available. Initially we were the only customers, this may be because we missed their lunch time deal, during our meal, several groups of people came in and there were some takeaway orders as well. The burgers were ok but the starters (nachos and bbq wings) were disappointing, the food was not worth the cost even when taking the location into account and a fellow customer made the point that if they are unable to offer bottomless drinks, why are they charging soft drink cans for the same price. The two counter staff were more interested in their conversation than serving customers, which did not help the experience. I did give the restaurant another try (as a takeaway), food was slightly better from the first experience but not enough that I would want to return. I am not sure why some of their locations have closed, as their Hammersmith location (which is also showing closed on their website) was always busy when I used to drive past it, although not eaten from the location. I thought I would try their Rupert Street location on the basis that I expected the food to be good.

I recommend this place to chill with friends, its 100/10! Very nice food and good environment. The service was brilliant as well.

Best Chicken Shop in Hackney!!! Ordered a family meal...so fresh and tasty...even the chips are amazing...in fact the best I've eatten in a while! Neatly wrapped up and clean looking. Will definitely be a regular from now on!
