Kulcha Express in Hounslow

Have visited this restaurant and both time enjoyed the food. The Kulcha thalli is good value for money and the paranthas are quite heavy but very tasty. Our French friends really enjoyed the food and experience of visiting this restaurant.

Very Good options, tasty food and fast service. one suggestion to introduce cheese options. E.g cheese kulacha. Fantastic

This is a basic no frills restaurant which serves North Indian cooking. The menu is not extensive but has enough on it to cater for all tastes. The starters were particularly good. The staff were very helpful. Would visit again if in the area.

Absolutely amazing food in terms of everything: taste, quality, and quantity, along with superb staff. We all loved it and will surely visit this again when visiting nearby.

Uk's best kulcha and no doubt its as good as in Amritsar, every one should try i flew out to London from Edinburgh to try this kulcha flight ticket absolutely worth it and prices are pretty affordable and i have seen white British couple enjoying kulchas and amritsari fish, Awesome place staff are great and service is outstanding and manager paaji here is great with customer relationship and management, must try place for all indians who love authentic punjabi food.

One of the best cholla bhatura in London. Everything was fresh and delicious. The manager was sweet though the speed of the service can be improved.

Overrated Eatery: Went there with a lot of hope of taking home real Punjabi tasting food. However, I was very disappointed not only with portions but to partake palak paneer and daal making devoid of fresh spices. Palak was crushed paste and paneeer pieces straight from packing, not sautéed. How can they get away charging £9.50 for a timy portion? I don't understand My advice is that there are other authentic places in Southall worth trying

pretty awesome service ... they all are nice specially gurjinder, pankaj , jassi , komal all of guys are always there to take care of you i visit almost everyday for snacks and tea fully end to end service

Rubbish service. Found a hair in the kulcha. They did not even apologise and replaced my thali with another naan. I said to them how about replacing the whole thali or a refund. They only refunded £4 for the naan. That thali cost me nearly £8. Did not even enjoy the food. Put me right off. The customer service is so rubbish. Will not be going there again !!!!!

Hello everyone in London area or England I been kulcha express this worst ever food I eaten I my 45 years I strongly believe that don't have experience staff or chef what they showing on TV media is totally against I am very experience person to taste the all Indian food this worst food I ever had

Food was cold and hard. Portions weren’t worth the money. Waited 1 hours just for one main course. They don’t care about their services.

This place seems to have gone downhill since our last visit pre-covid. It used to be our favourite lunch place for Indian street food, but yesterday's visit was disappointing. We ordered our usual Makai Roti and Spinach saag. Saag was fine, but Roti was as hard as Papad. When asked, we were told that is how it is supposed to be. So not true.

Eten is matig tot slecht , vroeg om spicy maar was gewoon mild . De bediening is uitermate slecht , geen interesse en slecht luisteren . Wij komen hier nooit meer .

The full chicken was horrible, overcooked and burnt. The chicken was not edible. rest of the food was average and not up to the mark. The people working there were not bothered by feedback. they did not offer a replacement or refund. Kulcha is actually not the Amritsari kulcha but flimsy aloo parantha. Very disappointing that we went for the first time after a long journey.

Don't go here if you want quick service. we weren't warned about long wait time. We waited for our food for almost an hour and it arrived at different times. When it arrived food was hot and fresh and tasty. Not really worth the long wait though especially when you have a tired and hungry family. Improvements...please turn down the loud music.

I am from Amritsar and I visited this place to enjoy the Kulchas, wasn’t expecting the same obviously but the Kulcha served was very flimsy like a chapati and not crispy at all, the chick pea curry was just luke warm and Lassi very milky and not yogurty. I was told the Tandoor wasn’t working properly lol and they advertise Kulcha express made in Tandoor, then why serve and make it worse for you and the customers. Another elderly customer walked in for another speciality and was told fryer was not hot enough and couldn’t be offered what he wanted, the customer started shouted and abusive as he walked a while to get to this place. Will not be visiting this place ever again.

Our first outing to Southall since the pandemic and we had heard so much about this place and accidentally found it. Reasonably priced and freshly cooked quality and authenticate Punjabi taste. Will definitely go again.

Atmosphere and service was ok but what more do you want from ordering food? clown and dance acts while they make your food?... well lets get down to business, I ordered a chicken burger meal, we all know Kulcha that your trying to copy Rockys chicken burger meal down the road, even your sauce pots are the same with chilli mayo, but in reality Rockys beats you on every point of the chicken burger meal on Monday I tried your chicken burger meal which was wimpy, boring and lame and small, on Tuesday I went to Rocky's and had there chicken burger meal which was big, tasty and very filling, reminded me of years ago when i used to eat them they haven't changed, still very filling and tasty with lots of sauce and left me feeling like i can't eat anything for hours after, Kulcha's chicken burger meal is like third rate, small weeny chicken fillet in the burger, sauce pot the same as Rocky's, chips are ok well there only chips anyone can make them but your chicken burger was lame, I felt hungry again after half an hour... Rockys chicken burger was big and tasty and filling. The worse thing is Kulcha charges 50p more then Rockys for this same Chicken burger meal, its a joke to pay more for something which you end up getting less. either you improve on this or carry on serving your lame chicken burgers which I certainly won't be eating. In the meantime I will continue to go to Rockys which is just down the road for chicken burger meals because your chicken burger meals are to lame and wimpy.

I went to ilford kulcha express amazing customer service very good hygiene taste was unbelievable i tried amritsari kulcha , karhi pakora, vegetarian pakora mixed plate and pani puri and masala chai it is actually taste of india , On desk manni was there she was so polite and very helpful she wrapped my take away very well safe and secure as i was going to travel 2 hours away kitchen staff was nice too highly recommend this place . Many thanks to all staff and good luck.

My experience was extremely positive. The staff was extremely helpful and very warm in welcoming us inside the restaurant. The food was extremely yummy and great for value. The Chola Batora was very delicious and reminded me of the taste back home, very nostalgic.

The food here has a home made taste. Tantalising, scrumptious and hits the right spot. The parathas were delicious , the papri chaat was Devine. Proper Punjabi samosas with yummy chutneys. I would definitely recommend a visit.

On a Bank Holiday we were lost and very hungry! We had great service. Amazing food great value! We had a paneer kulcha thali. Lassi was great!

Very very poor service by the staff and food , not value for money so expensive. We went inside and ordered a plate of kulcha , it was a family visit to enjoy Dushera but they actually spoiled our day and I will never recommend...

Service fantastic the owner fixed a mistake with my tea which looked charcoal for leaving tea bag too long and made a fresh one for me. Food was amazing the spicy chick peas awesome. Loved it! My first Thalil food too ❤️

Having visited first time with family I was really impressed by the authentic food and friendly staff.

Visited the South Road branch today in Southall. Firstly the place was empty. The Waitress did not greet us with a hello or Welcome. She was busy listening to music which drowned the place out that I had to ask her to turn it down so my family could even have a conversation. Clearly there was 3 of us when she dropped 2 menus on the table still no greetings. I had to walk to the bar to pick up a menu for myself. She then took our order for Starters and Mains which on the menu states Starters. She then brings all the food out together which I then asked her why have you brought the main course out with the starters. At this point 3 other people walked out due to rudeness without even ordering. She then shouted if you don't like it leave which we did without even eating a thing. Worst experience ever my 17 daughter was horrified by her behaviour and attitude.Never going back.

Went there luchtime. Had a really tasty,authentic,Punjabi taste food. we had Kulcha thali which is served with Chana and Dahi. Gobi kulcha was very satisfying. Also saag paneer with Makki di roti was the real deal. We really enjoyed the food. Service was excellent.Friendly staff. The passion for good tasty food is evident.Will be going back for sure !

We have been going to the one in Hayes at least once every week since they opened and we never had a bad experience. Food is incredible and service is even better. They always ensure you have a very nice experience. They are attentive and you can see that they are passionate about good food and good customer service. Thank you and see you next week ;)

Came to southall from east London to do shopping. I passed this restaurant to get to another restaurant which unfortunately closed down so me and my daughter decided why not try this place. Omg the food is off the scale loved everything we ordered. The guys working in the restaurant were very welcoming and friendly, service was excellent. I just wish we had this place in East London, next time in southall I will only eat there. Put it this way my daughter is a fussy eater and very rarely eats spicy food and she loved it and wants to go back. Real gem this place is worth every penny. Taste of India on a plate for real!!! Love it so much .

I went in for the first time last weekend as had family over from abroad. The food was amazing it was well cooked, well spiced and the staff were friendly and service was quick and efficient. It is a small place but big enough to accommodate and move tables around which the staff happily did for us. I would highly recommend and prices are very reasonable. Will be paying a visit again very soon.

Loved the food, the staff made us very welcomed. Seating was comfortable. Notice the tables could be moved to create comfort for a small group and extend to a large group. Loved the flavours of the food and the different options for bread. I went for the vegetarian dish.

Worst service ever. The chicken wrap wasn’t wrapped and no salad, the twisters were burnt and the paneer wrap had one paneer and cucumber. Complained to staff, they told us the next order would be better

We had a great meal at Kulcha Express last week on our trip to Southall. We were a family of 4 with varying tastes. My husband and I had excellent Muli Prantha's, my son had Chicken Tikka Masala & Garlic naan and My vegan daughter had aloo kulcha with cholay We enjoyed cha at the end which was delicious. The staff was so courteous and attentive to all our needs. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Southall. Excellent food and service with a smile.

First visit to Kulcha Express on the back of a recommendation. Words won’t do it enough justice though, it has to be tried.

Go there only if you want to eat Kulcha. Dont make a mistake of ordering chilli chicken or anything non-veg. My chilli chicken had smelly fish pieces in it and the chicken curry was so thin as a soup, there were like 4 and half pieces in it! They dint even have the courtesy to sorry when complained about it.

Amazing food, fantastic customer service, Kulcha was just like the ones we had in Amritsar. Will definitely make the 60 mile round trip very soon!!

This place is amazing for food and must be tried if you ever make a trip to southall.

If I could give 7 stars.. they are worth that Right from excellent paneer kulche, Chole bhature.. to lovely hospitality... worth a visit.. and then it will be a addiction

We loved the authentic taste at Kulcha express, their kulchas were very tasty. We tried aloo and paneer. Definitely recommend this place to everyone. On top of that their service was top class.

Fantastic staff with amazing food to match. Took it home to family and were impressed that it was piping hot due to being fresh and tasted even better. Next best thing to eating food in Punjab.Definitely recommend .
