The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Fast food food

I ordered the carvery salad to my office for lunch today along with a brownie. I just wanted to post a review because the salad that was sent to me was absolutely lovely. It was an extremely generous portion and it was all fresh and the meats were cooked perfectly. I couldn’t believe the size of the box that was sent to me. It came in what looked like a cake box and it was absolutely crammed with tasty food. I’ll have to save half and have it for lunch tomorrow. Will definitely be ordering again thank you.

We visited last weekend on a day trip to Great Yarmouth and these doughnuts were the best we've had!

Myself and my husband popped in tonight for the first time. We had heard good things about the live music so thought we would try it for ourselves. The music was fantastic but we were absolutely horrified at about 7.45pm when we were asked to stop talking as apparently the acoustics of the room meant our talking was interfering with other people hearing the music. I am truly baffled as to how one couple talking about their week can interfere with a musician with an instrument, microphone and speaker!! To be asked to stop talking in a bar on a Saturday night in Tynemouth is quite unheard of. We understand that there are some miserable, unreasonable clientèle around but I strongly believe that management should have used their common sense in this situation and dealt with the situation differently.

I have to admit I’m a bit of a Maccies coffee fan and I struggle to drive past without driving thru. I was on dads taxi duty at nearly 3am on New Year’s Day and I say the Golden Arches and thought why not. The place was still busy and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. The coffee was excellent and the service was great. Hopefully this is a great sign of a bright new decade? Happy to recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing. Decent portions which were excellent value for money, salt beef was to die for. Huge selections including Vegan, plus whatever you ask for is never too much trouble. Very, very fun staff that really make the place. Must be a great boss there as the staff are so happy even at midnight. Shame I'm not local but will definitely visit again next time I'm in London. I'll add a pic of the awesome Ria, a beautiful young lady who has enough energy to power London.

We found this little fish and chip shop during lockdown and used it weekly. After being shut for a few weeks, we revisited it last night for a tea time treat. We were so, so disappointed. Portion sizes were tiny. The fish was a third smaller than before and the chips looked more like half a portion and had definitely been reheated. We finished our food still feeling hungry.

Unfortunately I got sent the wrong kebab but other than that was amazing

Absolutely the, BEST kebab shop on the high street, Their homemade chilli sauce is incredible And the shish… amazing!!

This fish & chip takeway has gone now, having been superceded by "Oh My Cod" restaurant and takeway. Deep Blue was comparitively expensive for mediocre fish & chips that always had an odd, cloying smell, either from old, or maybe burnt, oil. Not sure which, but it was unpleasant. Also, they stopped selling pea fritters some time ago, which were a fovourite with the locals. If you don't listen to your customers, they vote with their feet. All in all, not surprising Deep Blue failed in Godalming.

Very disappointed – poor food and even worse customer service I’ve been a regular customer at this kebab shop and have never had a reason to complain – until now. I placed an order recently and was really disappointed with the quality. The chicken pakora was overcooked and extremely chewy, the steak was tough, and the chips looked like they'd been double-fried or left in the oil too long. When I called to let them know, I was polite and just wanted a proper replacement meal. I even went back to the shop with the food, hoping they’d sort it. Instead, they refused to give me a new order, refunded me, and told me not to come back – all because “no one else had complained.” It’s a shame because I’ve supported this place for a long time, but their handling of a genuine complaint was awful. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable – just a decent meal for the money I spent. Sadly, they’ve lost a loyal customer through poor service and a lack of respect.

A great local kebab house. Good value , very tasty and very generous portions! Free home delivery is also an added bonus, only requiring a ten pound minimum order.
