Tried to stop here for a coffee and snack with my dad, who has coeliac disease and requires strictly gluten-free food. Unfortunately, their “low gluten” muffins were not suitable. The staff member kindly explained that while the muffins are made with gluten-free ingredients, they’re baked in the same area as regular products, so there’s a risk of cross-contamination. For someone with coeliac or a gluten allergy, “low gluten” simply isn’t safe—it’s either gluten-free or it’s not. Having something that looks like a safe option but isn’t actually safe is more frustrating than having no option at all. A better solution might be to offer pre-packaged gluten-free items that are prepared off-site, or to invest in a small separate oven to avoid cross-contamination. Until then, this isn’t a coeliac-friendly stop, which is disappointing in 2025.

The food has gone down hill at don and bun recently. Having been going since it arrived in Harlow. It a shame that standards have slipped over the past couple of months.

Georgios fue excelente bajo la administración original y han sido buenos bajo la nueva administración. Sin embargo, en mi última visita para patatas fritas y guisantes especiales, el pescado obviamente se había mantenido caliente durante mucho tiempo. Drove 30 minutes to here on Good Friday as I’d heard good reviews! So glad I did; generous portions, battered cod cooked to perfection and lovely chips ( not greasy at all!) Definitely my new number one for fish and chips!

Esta ubicación siempre olvida preparar mi café después de haberlo pedido y siempre tengo que recordárselo y nadie se disculpa. No están bien organizados y el gerente de la tienda es grosero. The best Baked Spuds in town. We had the chilli and chicken curry filling, very very tasty indeed, and the portion sizes are massive. Excellent value for money. 👍👏👏😀

I was in this fish shop when I overhead the owner of the fish shop verbally abusing the young girl working there telling her she looks bad and calling her a tramp and she can only be seen in the back of the shop then still went to the back of the shop screaming and shouting at her the poor girl looked terrified and was crying. She eventually walked out and it turned out it was her first shift. If you have an youngsters avoid them working here it was disgusting what he did to her

The staff is terrible. The girl who served me had face like she hates her job. I asked her what sauce goes well with my salad. She said that she doesn't know. She was more bothered saying that i choose more. But I am paying extra why she was so bothered. Anyway i paid £8.17 for small size of veggies. The salad is OK nothing special. There is no sign on how much salads costs and how the salad choosing /making works. The healthy food shops first should train staff about positive customer service and creating healthy atmosphere. I prefer to buy my food from places with healthy atmosphere. So won't go there again.
