Pretentious load of yuppy rubbish. Bar staff are hopeless and management weak. Two complaints about a ‘free’ poured double spirits resulted in ‘experienced’ bar staff pouring it into a measure that was obviously far short of the mark. Whilst I should not have offered and then passed the card machine to his chest. His super smug reaction to being challenged and in his view getting away with it was appalling. The security staff were brilliant however the manager less so. Get a grip it’s easy if challenged about a measure twice at least get the third correct.SIMPLES

I was in this fish shop when I overhead the owner of the fish shop verbally abusing the young girl working there telling her she looks bad and calling her a tramp and she can only be seen in the back of the shop then still went to the back of the shop screaming and shouting at her the poor girl looked terrified and was crying. She eventually walked out and it turned out it was her first shift. If you have an youngsters avoid them working here it was disgusting what he did to her

Absolutely shocking. Had basically no food and the portions were tiny, I’ve been to a few of the other Chopstix however this is the worst experience ever. The employees mumble and are so hard to understand, maintain conversation with one another whilst serving you and swear infront of customers. Think it’s really disgusting to sit and eat your dinner whilst employees trail bags of rubbish past you 🤢🤢🤢would give you the absolute boak. Had none of the drinks they were meant to nor had the new spring rolls. Complete shambles.

The staff is terrible. The girl who served me had face like she hates her job. I asked her what sauce goes well with my salad. She said that she doesn't know. She was more bothered saying that i choose more. But I am paying extra why she was so bothered. Anyway i paid £8.17 for small size of veggies. The salad is OK nothing special. There is no sign on how much salads costs and how the salad choosing /making works. The healthy food shops first should train staff about positive customer service and creating healthy atmosphere. I prefer to buy my food from places with healthy atmosphere. So won't go there again.

Nice popcorn and a very good price for its location. Just lacks a little on the salt and sweet taste.

One of my favourite traditional chip shops to visit in Chester. Recently re-opened following temporary closure over the past 10 months. Chips are freshly cooked and in small batches. Portion sizes are ok and value for money. Visiting the shop is like a step back in time to the 50s or 60s with traditional tiled decor, photos of their last Chip Shop Van from the 1970s. Definitely a Chester hidden gem. The couple who run the establishment are super friendly and always have a chat about stories of Chester, Saltney and the history behind the family business which has been operating for generations. Well worth a visit if near the Garden Quarter/Sealand Road.

Ordered over the phone, food arrived, chips are cold and precooked, and was missing two chips with the meal. Rang them, got passed around to 2 different people who couldn't speak English, and finally when I got through to someone who was speaking English, gave me attitude, rude and said will get chips in 15 to 20 minutes, they never arrived, took 30 minutes to come. Poor and rude staff, delivery driver was a good guy who kept apologising, isn't his fault. Need better staff who can speak English and know how to deal with customers.
