The best restaurants in East Sheen Richmond upon Thames London

A large group of us met here for lunch today and we had a variety of different dishes on the menu - my shepherd’s pie and apple and pear crumble was just what I wanted, and the gentleman who served us, the owner, I think, was extremely patient and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a long, leisurely meal with no pressure put upon us to vacate the table and allow them to tidy up around us. Thank you

Popped into this simple cafe/restaurant on the wettest Saturday for a while as the menu intrigued me. So glad I did! I ordered a fenugreek and turmeric soup, with traditional bread, all freshly made and OMG. This was not just a ‘hug in a (soup) mug’ but a full on ‘cuddle in a puddle!’ Ok that did not quite work but hopefully you get the drift. The soup was fragrant, lightly spiced and very hearty, perfect for the depressing cold outside and the bread was warm, both chewy and crisp and generously covered in sesame seeds. It is the best feeling to experience new tastes together (spices, egg, lime, sesame... who would have thought?!) that just work. So good was everything that I ignored my innate Britishness and struck up conversation with a fellow weather-refuger who had ordered the same, extolling its’ virtues. Cannot recommend this place enough. It is rare to find somewhere now where the food tastes so fresh, and not reliant on salt and fat to give taste. It felt like home-cooked food with a lot of love included. Please do come and support, and experience a well filled belly!!!

Good value, good food. Take away only - don't get a Saturday night Indian as often as I used to but when I do I look no further.

These guys cater for all allergies and requests. Incredible bakers of delicious cakes and fast as well. We've been fans for a while and hope to use them next weekend for a bank holiday party.

Filete excepcional, porciones generosas y lados, a la parrilla a la perfección. Los lados vienen gratis. Su maridaje de vinos es muy bueno y el servicio es genial! Ideal para una cena con amigos, puede acomodar mesas grandes también. Buenas opciones de aparcamiento, a 3 minutos a pie de la estación de tren. Esta es una casa de carne estilo argentino, GALAXIAS lejos mejor que el gaucho que es una estafa total.

Food arrived on time, hot and tasty. Ribs were very nice, generous portion of chips.

Had the most delightful experience with my new wife and our 3 children on Wednesday 5th Feb. We are lucky that Forty Four is within walking distance but this was our first time as a family visiting. We had pre booked for 7pm and the most friendly waiter called Panos was working hard as the only waiter. Despite having to cover all the tables and bar alone due to his colleague being ill, he was attentive, enthusiastic and pleasure to deal with. A true Greek as we have come to experience from our holidays in Greece! The food was delicious, the price was extremely reasonable and the service considering the restaurant had over ten tables to serve was outstanding. Well done Panos and the kitchen team! We will return for sure.

Rosa's was our go-to cafe when we were living in Mortlake. Rosa and Karolina are such warm, friendly people and were so good with our daughters too. The coffee is fantastic, as are the pastries. We will drop-in for sure next time we're in the area
