Love this place!!!! Best way to start a weekend! Pancakes for the boy and peeled pork special for me - yum!!!

Had the bank holiday special pulled pork eggs benedict, it tasted amazing. I hope it becomes part of the main menu!

We love going to Pickle & Rye, particularly for the Reuben sandwich!

No driver came from you guys so pickle had to send one of their own after I called them. Sort it out. This happens to often, do drivers just get to say it’s been delivered without proof?

Best Pancakes in London, hands-down! Fluffy and Yummy! Good mix with savoury classics like Bacon and Sausages! Highly recommend (1) American Plate (2) English Plate. Home fries surprisingly nostalgic of those in the United States 🇺🇸!! Bottomless filter coffee for 3 pounds was a good deal and they are happy to top it up in a flash to take away too! Great homely friendly service. Have gone twice now and always enjoyed. Keep it up!!

I visited this restaurant for brunch last weekend and managed to walk in and be seated without a booking. The cheese toastie I had was pretty average, it taste like hot oily bread with plastic cheese. The hot chocolate was nice, however quite pricey for what it was.

Enjoyable brekkie experience! The food was hot on arrival coffee was superb. My partner's cheese sandwich was a bit greasy however I enjoyable experience nonetheless. The new York scarmble is a must try

The best breakfast in London with amazing/personal service. You absolutely have to go here. I recommend both the American or English Plate if you're hungry!

The staff seemed overwhelmed with the workload of average numbered customers. Only the young employees smiled and attempted helpfulness even though they appeared at times out of their depths. Whoever the male staff is - manager? - behind the counter had a permanent scowl on his face even when interacting with me! The plate the food was served up in was not hot and the food was barely warm! I made a simple order and that turned out to be a difficult task between the staff who took the order and the chef!, I asked for well done toast and I was practically delivered white crunchy bread! I ordered beans and was delivered beans with meat mixed inside of them! The lady was professional and kind enough to offer me a clean plate to exchange the food onto but I had waited too long for the meal by then and just wanted to eat! It was a busy establishment and the staff seemed overwhelmed and flustered. Consequently I left far earlier than I had planned too as Mr grumpy told me he would be needing my table for an online booking in 10 minutes. Charming! Reading all the other reviews leave me flabbergasted as I appear to be the only customer to have a negative experience! Or more than likely I just have a greater expectation for the money you have to pay for warm food after a lengthy wait as well as not liking the feeling of being evicted after I have just paid for that warm food! Mr grumpy seems to be about more customers passing through more money. He needs to focus more on the customers satisfaction who are seated and rearrange his priorities! Happy Easter and bah humbug!

Being an American dinner my expectation of a burger was dancing flavours, juicyness and great mayonnaise to dip ur fries in-unfortunately it was non of that, bland, very bland that got washed down with warm lager. Although service was great and super friendly.

Horrible food. Me and my young sisters - that came to visit me - had burgers and sandwiches and we got sick from it all night. Burgers tasted like chemicals somehow. I didn't eat the whole burger and still vomited all night. Sandwiches were as hard as a stone. Expensive and zero quality!

Margaritas are to die for... burgers and sweet potato fries are a win as well! Kids will get their calories for the week from one of the milkshakes, beware (or get a second spoon!)... Update - the Reuben is a great sandwich (if not quite US portion size!)

Food was good, but seemed to take a long time, delivery time was updated twice.

This is the first time it happens to me since I start ordering in Pickle and Rye. I a bit disappointed. Few items are missing. No chips and taco for my Taco salad.

Really bad burger, bun and meat was dry and no sauce in the burger? Not at all what is shown in the pictures. Chips were also served cold. Disappointing experience especially considering the reviews.

The Salt Beef Reuben is juicy and flavourful, great sandwich. The buffalo wings are authentic with a great taste. It was however missing the spice, but still tasted amazing.

Great spot for food and drink. We'll be aiming to try it out for some Sunday night NFL soon!

The worst burger! No cheese ! Very dry and cold!

Very nice food, ended up going back twice in a week! English breakfast 1st followed by American pancake breakfast. All very nice. Milkshakes were perfect and they even give you the remainder from the mixer that doesn't fit in the cup!

Great spot! Service is great! There might be wise to reserve a spot or come earlier - there’s a bit of a queue. Which is a testament to the food/services.

Looking for a stop en route to rugby at Twickenham. Four adults and a toddler all very happy with the choices on offer but strongly recommend the salt beef Reuben sandwich. Service was friendly, welcoming and very efficient. Perfect stop for the whole family, really enjoyed our lunch.

Great little American diner in East Sheen, run by real Americans. Short menu to suit most tastes with a focus on flavour and quality; burgers and ribs are especially good, as are the Eggs Benedict. Delivery available,too, if you're feeling lazy!

Great American dining experience. Food just right. Fresh and tasty. Had my blueberry buttermilk pancakes "on the side" (I personally don't like mixing savoury and sweet). Staff were stretched, as it was the Women's World Cup Final. Yet they were gracious and accommodating.

We went to dinner last night. The ribs, the chicken wings, salad, fries and dessert. All American style and flavor. As described to us. Excellent location. We were very well treated by the staff, always smiling and friendly. We congratulated the Chef and the Manager when they approached the table. Good luck and keep it up. Such a cute and cozy little place! The restaurant is quite spacious and the workers are very kind and friendly. It seems as if they have many regular customers as well, which is always a good sign. I ordered the American Plate; the portions were huge! Very tasty as well. Everything was good except the pancakes were not as fluffy as I would expect for classic American buttermilk pancakes. If I ordered it again I would substitute the sausages out for eggs or bacon because personally I'm just not too crazy for sausages in general.

Went for a birthday brunch. As I entered the restaurant where a strong disinfected smell grab my attention. Ask for a 3 egg omelette with onions, sausage, swiss cheese, onions and tomatoes with home fries. My partner order a burger with trimmings. What I received was a greasy omelette with very small amount onions, no tomatoes inside, chop up potatoes that was dump in a deep fryer and dump on a plate. Visual not appealing. Ate less than half of the omelette as it wasn't what I expected. Couldn't believe how greasy it was and not appetizing. Very embarrassing for my partner, as she heard great things about this place. The waitress assured me the omelette wouldn't be a problem to cook. She said she would deduct the drinks(a non alcohol beer , cappuccino and service charge) from the bill. I was fuming inside. I didn't want to embarrass my partner. She paid the bill and we left. Very disappointed as this place pride itself on American type food. I am American so I know what a proper omelette should look and taste like. Just disappointed as my partner wanted it a joyous birthday celebration.

This place is amazing, starting from a very friendly,smile and professional staff to delicious food,served in a very beautiful way, finishing with pancakes with nuttela. I can say also the coffee was so yummy. Atmosphere brilliant, clean everywhere even in the toilet. Definitely strong recommended, and I can't wait to back there. Thank you .

It was enjoyable but the staff didn't smile and seemed reluctant to be there, food was great but wasn't prepared to what was asked. Not one to moan we ate it anyway.

Just another one of those high street joints that totally stand out from the rest, great ambience, lovely Chef, fantastic packaging! Shame the server spoiled the overall experience with her unwelcoming Ora! Nevertheless I’ll surely be back for the Rinkoff Bagel & Coffee!

We were super excited to try this place after all the amazing reviews but sadly we were left incredibly disappointed. Potentially the worst burger I’ve ever eaten so maybe we were unlucky given all the other reviews but the quality of the meat was cheap and tasteless and the burger bun was dry and inedible. We will not return and do not recommend.

Been here several times now and always had excellent food and very friendly service. The vibe in there is fun and upbeat.

We are so totally disappointed with the service. We just moved to the area and friends have recommended this place so we went this morning and where excited to try a new place. The place was not that busy, although most tables sort of full. The guy at the entry said a table will be free in 5 min, he seemed super friendly. So we just stood by the door and waited, looking at the menu and choosing the food ( the menu although small looked promising). More people started to come in and wait by the door, some needed bigger table of 4. The table that the guy said we can take in 5 min became free but then a waitress came and said that table is reserved and if we want to table we will now need to wait for 20 minutes, she then proceeded and gave that free table to 4 people that came after us. I must admit she was super rude and although we never had a chance to taste the food I will simply avoid this place because of the poor and rude service.

With the sad demise of Lupo Bros it’s good to see Pickle and Rye, an independent restaurant, relocating to the High Street. Very enjoyable, tasty traditional style American diner food, good service and sensible prices. As they say, what’s not to like!

The food is delicious! Whoever dreamt up the idea of a milkshake with Oreos and candy floss is a culinary mastermind.

Too good not to share. We’ve been loyal foodies of this delicious establishment since 2018- before moving to this cool and hip location- and will continue as long as they are here. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent. They even have Super Bowl Sunday parties during the season and have such a cool vibe.

Huge fan of Pickle & Rye since their very early days as a sandwich shop and have been happily following them through every move and delicious evolution of their business. The food is always amazing, the service attentive and the vibe is welcoming and friendly. The best local diner on either side of the pond.

Went there for breakfast. I loved their menu. Staff was amazing, kind and respectful. Place clean and tranquil. Food tasted very good, very tasty and their hot chocolate was delicious. Good value for money. I really recommend it. Will go again for sure next time for dinner ❤️

I love this place so much!! I have a sweet spot for buffalo wings and they do it perfectly. The burger is also perfect and so is there pancakes! I am always satisfied after a visit to this fine eatery.

Hi everyone, I have been here couple of times for dinner before but it was the first time that I tried breakfast here. We got an American plate and an English plate and both are AMAZING! Fresh goods, perfect timing and clean table! As I always mentioned staff are so important for me, here they are so friendly and well behaved, especially the one who I talked with :D :D All in all for those who are hesitant you should try this restaurant, it will make your day!

Could possibly be the best chicken burger in London. The Buffalo Chicken burger is the business. The service was superb! When our daughter didn't finish her food they packaged her food and left her some treats. Well worth a visit of you're in the area! Can't wait to return.

If you love to take family out for a Sunday breakfast. Picke &Rye is an ideal spot . Great ambience with wonderful team . We tried the English/ American plate and on kids menu the cheese toast . Met up with an old friend here, the food was amazing

I used to go to the old place frequently with some friends, pre-Covid. They have the most amazing American pancakes.

Had the burger it was ok but over-priced considering it wasn't anything special. Service was ok. Toilets could do with being refurbished.

Very pleasant young lad called Oliver was kind, welcoming, and helped me decide my order. The experience was very good, the food was excellent, and the young waiter enhanced the experience thoroughly.
