Unfortunately for us 2 lovely young girls served us. But they didn't know how to priorities . Not their fault Sunday staff ! Thought it was a lovely place But we left not happy 😕

We were on our way from Hampton Court Palace and we were struggling to find a cab and began to get frustrated. Until we walked into Canela Cafe! They were so inviting and helped us right away and called a cab for us. Since there was going to be a little bit of a wait, we sat down and enjoyed some iced coffee, smoothies, and brownies which were just delicious! Amazing service, amazing people, amazing food.

It was not my first visit to Canela. On previous visits I only had coffee and was happy with the quality of coffee and service. On this occasion, I was disappointed with the service, and this is reflected in the poor rating. I ordered a coffee and a warm sandwich. The sandwich was very good, but the salad garnish was odd. It included some cooked cauliflower and weird fried (?) cabbage. My coffee arrived 20 minutes after my sandwich, and only after I had to chase it.

Perfect for lunch or coffee when visiting Hampton Court Palace. Great, freshly-prepared food. Good service. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Lots of nice cafes in the area but we were pleased with our choice! Great options on the menu including a range of fresh juices and smoothies along with all the hot drink options. We had a late, a cappuccino, a full breakfast and my wife had the salmon and scrambled eggs breakfast. Both were delicious. Would certainly recommend. Lovely friendly service. Beautiful selection of cakes, it was a hard decision!

Nice little cafe with a lot of character. The menu was slightly odd because there was no details about what the breakfast contained. When we ordered, we also weren't asked how we liked our eggs cooked etc. I'm sure we could have asked, but it was odd that the information wasn't readily available. The food tasted nice, although we both felt as though we needed some sauce. The beans were homemade and therefore less saucy than Heinz. There were no condiments offered. Again, we possibly could have asked, but it is normally just provided.

We stopped by for lunch during a walk along the River Thames towpath. I had the tortilla with egg and chorizo and my wife had the salmon salad. Both meals were excellent - absolutely delicious and very well presented. I’ve had breakfast here before and it was just as good. There are lots of cafes in the vicinity but IMO this one is the best for quality of the food.

The surprise nice weather in October made me fancy a visit to Bushy park. I googled places to eat, and Canela Cafe had good reviews. The gentleman that runs it was very warm and welcoming. Although the kitchen was closed, as I arrived late afternoon, he got a sausage and avocado sandwich made up for me. Very charming cafe, fantastic service and such a delicious sandwich. I’ll definitely come here again. Highly recommended.

Just round the corner - I visit on my mobie scooter whenever I can and the staff and my fellow customers are always charming and helpful, shifting furniture and tolerating my rubbish driving. A very varied clientele of hospital staff and patients, builders and locals. Fast and furious service and a lovely sandwich bar menu (looks endless on the display board) + essentials like full English, delicious crisp and floury chips… the coffee’s good, too, and there’s a collection of cakes on top of the counter… very reasonable prices, considering the location. I’m hoping for a move but, honestly, how will I find somewhere with a handy Canela?

Second visit here. A nicely varied menu. Today I had smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich on brown bread with tea. Always appreciate a mug. The sandwich was lovely and well filled.

We came upon this cafe by chance after visiting Hampton Court palace where dining options are limited. We shared a smoked salmon and cream cheese ciabatta and a coronation chicken arepa followed by a slice of coffee and walnut cake. The quality of everything was excellent especially the homemade coronation chicken and the cake. The sandwich and cake were very reasonably priced but I thought the arepa was rather pricey at £11 although it tasted freshly made. I would definitely come back here when visiting the nearby palace.

We visited for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Both my wife and I had the full cooked breakfast, and were both delighted with it. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and the price for such good quality food was very reasonable compared to other local cafes. The atmosphere in the cafe is very relaxed and quiet, which makes it ideal for couples and small groups. Service was excellent too, with all the staff being really friendly and helpful.

As a halfway point on river walk n unique and quirky but really friendly cafe.Had the Arepa with spicy beans and avocado while my chum had the Arepa with spicy egg and chorizo.both excellent.Theres a lot of good cafes in East Moleey but its not surprising this is No1. Quaint cafe opposite the station, which is a convenient stop on the way to the Palace. We dropped in for a coffee and decided to treat ourself to a slice of cake as well. Firstly, the coffee was excellent - quite strong and served nice and hot. I tried the lemon drizzle cake, which was acceptable - maybe slightly on the small size. However, my wife tried the coffee and walnut cake, which although it tasted great, was a tiny slither and the end piece of the cake. To add insult, when we left, there was one generous portion left on the counter, which was obviously kept back as it looked far more appealing than what my wife was served. We felt slightly ripped off, which ruined an otherwise pleasant visit.

Had lunch here today and was so nice to have a different selection from the standard café menus - Colombian Arepas that were so delicious, and a good quality latte to go with it, and at such a great price compared to a lot of the overpriced cafes in the area. Great café, love the style of the café with friendly staff. Will definitely be back there again to try a different selection on the menu. Highly recommend it!

Lovely little cafe, the tea alone worth a visit as pot for one very generous - stone where service and sweet little milk churns as milk jugs. Had a toastie - Brie, bacon and sweet pickle and added avocado. All came to just over £7.00

A flat white in London - less than £3. And it was an oat milk flat white too! The coffee was delicious, the café was so fun and it was a super friendly environment too. Take a few more steps and you won't be upset.

Like many places at the moment, this place has lost its charm as it is understaffed. A 20 minute wait for one coffee was pretty disappointing.

Visited with the family on a Sunday lunchtime for our first taste of Columbian food. The cafe was decorated very tastefully and there were books and puzzles for our daughter. We ordered the Arepas (beef and vegetarian) which we couldn't fault. The cakes were delicious and the coffee was up there with the best I've tasted. We'll definitely be returning! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Hampton Court or Bushy Park area.

Parked in Hampton Court and popped across the road to this cafe after reading about it on Tripadviser. Tasty good, great coffee and just a lovely place to have breakfast. Staff nice too. Prices very reasonable. Would highly recommend.

Visited early on a Friday morning for breakfast before Hampton Court visit. So happy we chose this little gem, very quick service, fantastic food and lovely setting. Wouldn’t think twice about revisiting.
