Visited today what a gem staff welcoming to our 4 adults and 5 sausage dogs. Delish fresh food and great service. The hounds say thank you too for their yummy sausage. Will definitely go again and would recommend. Parking opposite in the Station

Work conference on a Sun/Mon in Nov. It’s a nice tidy modern hotel. The rooms are large and clean. But the shower is an annoying over bath with a hose. Not modern and you get a blast of cold before it warms up. The bed was very comfortable and large. The gym was poor - old fashioned running and x-trainer machines - which for a spa hotel was disappointing. Dinner was good - monk fish followed by excellent cheese - restaurant manager (American lady)deserves special mention. Breakfast was very good. Nice conference facilities. Lovely location next to the bay/water. Lots of parking.

The food from Harbour View is good, a favourite chippy of ours in the area. However on our most recent visit the customer service was that poor we were going to walk out. Young adults behind the counter who didn’t seem to care about providing a good service, no welcome or hello upon entering, our order was taken but not even a thank you for an almost £50 order. It was sad to see just eat drivers being completely ignored by staff, a driver was trying to ask questions in order to pick up the order he was delivering and no staff acknowledged him so he picked the order he assumed was his and left. I’d advise improving customer service to encourage customers to return here. Fully understand the pressures of this environment however a customers experience should always be the priority.

Stayed over in our motorhome on the car park, what a fab spot. Food was lovely, drinks a little pricey but they don’t charge for stay over. Staff really friendly probably the friendliest place we have stayed on our adventures and it makes a difference. Highly recommended 👏

I’ve been at my mothers side since the early hours in the local hospital, waiting for the inevitable. I missed breakfast, so I walk the mile or two into Deganwy. I see this cafe I’ve not been in before, so I decided to try it. I order eggs on toast and a coffee about 10.00. The young waiter keeps on about his work, and 15 minutes go by. I finish my coffee. 40 minutes (!) have now gone by, and no food! I ask the waiter to check up on my order, frankly I shouldn’t have to ask as there aren’t many customers there anyway. He says they have “Lost My Order” I say I will “just pay for the coffee”, I’m disappointed, hungry, and I’ve had enough. He then disappeared! I have to actually go up myself to pay! I do get an apology, but I don’t even get a free coffee by way of apology! It’s now 10.45, so I return to the hospital hungry. Zero stars for the Olive grove, very poor service.

Beware!!!!!!!!!!! Madras and samba far too spicy, it’s ridiculous!!! we love spicy food but cannot eat it. You are going to kill somebody with this pisstake of spices! Paid good money for this!! Even the butter chicken is spicy, what’s going on ? What a waste of money!! Samosas are vile and onion bajhis are rock hard! Rice is great in the plus side. Warning- don’t bother with this place, nothing less than evil!!!!!!!!!!

Stopped in her for lunch on our walk to Conwy. Lovely restaurant and views. The food was mediocre if I'm honest and my wife's fish tacos were utterly tasteless. I guess you are paying for the views as the food is average to say the least based on our choices!

While staying at the quay hotel over Christmas for a 3 day package we ate most meals in the restaurant. On Christmas eve & Christmas day evening there was a large buffet with various hot & cold options that you could help your self to as much or as little as you wanted. All was very well presented, all freshly made & tasted good. The breakfast was help your self to the continental selection that was on offer along with the toast, then you order your hot food & drinks with the waiting staff. This seemed to be freshly cooked using good quality ingredients & was good & is so much better than a buffet style hot breakfast. Christmas day lunch we had to pre-order our main course beforehand, we were greated with a glass of champagne on arrival & our starter orders were taken, as some of our party didn't like the starters on offer the head chef prepared alternative starters for us. There was then a gin & tonic sorbet to cleanse the pallet prior to the main. The main courses turkey or fillet of beef that we had were again well presented & side dishes of vegatbles were brought to the table there was a lack of roast potatoes however more were brought to us. The helping was ample. This was followed by a selection of desserts again which were well presented freshly made & tasted good. This was then finished off we coffee & mince pies in the lounge bar, the pastry was on the thick side. The boxing day meal was also very good with a selection of meals for each course which were all presented well & tasted good & the portion size slightly reflected the amount we had eaten over the previous days which was fine as we were still full. The waiting staff were all well presented & couldn't do enough to help during our stay even though they had given up there Christmas with their families to look after the residents. The food was all of a top quality as expected of a 4 star hotel, if you have a special occasion & are in the area I would recommend eating here.
