Excellent home feel restaurant. Felt like we were being served in the owners front room, but in a fantastically good way.

The best curry around everything cooked to perfection.

Very accommodating owner. She was very empathetic towards our dietary requirements, such as gluten free and other allergens. The korma and naan were divine.

Me and my husband went to Jai Ho for our anniversary. The owner Nori was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and she was able to advise us about different dishes. We got a lovely surprise cake at the end to celebrate our anniversary. Food was delicious and we will definitively be back. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Shoutout to Ali Abrar for pushing me to try this spot—best decision ever. Living in the US, I’ve had some great dining experiences, but this one topped them all. Lovely family run restaurant. Had a good sample of chicken, lamb and veg dishes. Service was wonderful. Genuine and happy staff. Prices were good and place was nice and busy.

We ordered online. The food didn’t turn up, when we rang to see where it was after nearly 2hours, she argued wouldn’t let us speak. There system was wrong , wrong telephone number ( which we didn’t give anyway) and wrong address.

Such a lovely little place and the lady who looked after us made us feel so at home and even taught me how to fold the napkins…food was lovely would definitely return

Ate a nice Indian meal here, the lady serving was friendly and accomodating. The food was pretty typical of what you'd get in most Indian restaurants. Amazing view across the road of the quay & Conwy castle. This rating would have been higher but they add on a 10% service charge which isn't mentioned anywhere on their menu. This is North Wales not Mayfair! so this was disappointing and felt it was underhand.

We recently visited this place. The lady did offer the Veg. Curry which wasn’t on the menu & we convinced. She was really dominating & tried hard overselling the different items but we sticked to our order. 0 rating for service. There wasn’t any spoons or glass for water. Upon requesting spoon she offered just 1 ignoring the other person with me. Then we requested the glass for water, again she just gave 1 assuming both of us will use the same glass for water. How come 1 person can use the other person’s glass !! At the end she didn’t even collect the payment from our table like she did from other guests ( non Indian) & we had to go to the counter & paid. We found discrimination. Very much disappointing service. The tagline is “authentic Indian food” but i don’t recommend any Indian to visit this restaurant.

After climbing Snowdon we decided last minute we would treat ourselves to an Indian. I phoned the guys at Jai Ho and they were able to get us in right away. The restaurant is small but cosy, very nicely decorated and clean and the staff are brilliant. You can tell they really care about the business and want to deliver a good service. The food was outstanding, we ordered the Dhaba chicken from the chefs specials and I would highly recommend. Brilliant, lovely restaurant I will be sure to revisit next time I’m in the area. Stayed a week in Deganwy and had a take away then came back to eat in. Food is extremely good. Had chilli paneer starter which was great. Jalfrezi was amazing too. We really enjoyed the food here, had meat, veg and seafood dishes. The staff were really friendly.

Delicious freshly cooked Indian food with great spice flavours. Lovely service and family atmosphere. Sit by the window for great views toward Conwy Castle!

The BEST curry dishes we’ve ever had. Staff are so lovely and attentive King prawn dansask , saag paneer , Lahori Bhuna and mushroom rice with keema naan… all of it was fresh and so delicious. Wish we could have this local to home . Amazing! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The food was excellent, tasted really fresh and is probably the best Indian restaurant I have eaten in. I would definitely recommend and will be back.

Visited a couple of times in October /November 2023 and had a set Sunday meal which included poppadoms and a chutney tray, choice of starter (lamb kofta extra spicy) very nice, mains we had lamb madras and chicken jalfrezi which is excellent, rice, naan bread. 👌Overall A very tasty meal and great service. 👍 Look forward to another visit soon. Just had Another excellent meal 28/3/24 ~ keep meaning to try different dishes but ended up having another Jalfrezi 😋 it's so flavoursome and just the right amount of heat, love it, and as usual great friendly service.

In Llandudno for the weekend and randomly chose the Jai Ho through Just Eat .Delivery was early and followed delivery instructions Was not disappointed. The onion bhajis had a nice kick to them , I chose the Dakshin Chemmin Curry , it was full of prawns and delicious. Would recommend and order again next time in Llandudno

Ordered a delivery via Just Eat app on New Year’s Eve at 6.07pm. Obviously NYE so knew it would be busy. Delivery estimated at 7.45pm which we accepted. Updated delivery to be 8.15pm … accepted. Got to 9pm tried to ring …. Engaged constantly until answered at 9.30pm to be told they could start cooking it now plus delivery time would be 10.15pm! Totally spoilt our family NYE as we had specifically ordered early as we anticipated them being busy. Very disappointed as we have had quite a few deliveries from here in the past and always enjoyed their food and delivery service has always been excellent. We were all starving at the 10pm point and hadn’t made alternative catering arrangements so all very upset. Couldn’t find a way to complain to just eat and has put us off ordering from here again . Such a shame

Booked a table for 8pm, arrived and the place was full, taken upstairs and there was one other couple eating, 15 minutes later still not offered a drink. The place was cold and no atmosphere not even music playing. Travelled to get there and very dissapointed.

The attitude of the staff here was shocking, I wouldn’t bother! I am local and it is such a shame but no wonder it is empty most nights…..

We ordered a take away from here and after 2 hours it still hadn’t arrived. After multiple trips to the window 👀 I rang to see where it was. They said they were too busy now, and would be at least another hour. I asked why they bothered taking the order and they just said you can have a refund. Really poor service, I wouldn’t bother ordering a taking away from here! Shocking! Instead we had a lovely take away from the very friendly and efficient Sylhet Take Away Craig Y Don.

This is an excellent and incredibly tasty restaurant. By far the best Indian in the area in our opinion. All the dishes we’ve tried are delicious.

Visited on NYE 2023, had made a booking online due to living in Lancashire and in Wales over New Year, Jai Ho kept in touch with our booking, very efficient. Arrived at 8pm, didn't look anything special from the outside, once in was asked to go upstairs as restaurant was full. Carpet leading upstairs definitely needs upgrading, very shabby. After a while was asked to go down again to a table set up for us. This is the best bit, the food onion bhaji and shish kebab starter with fresh salad was amazing, best we have ever had and the Chicken tikka dupiaza was delicious, we eat a lot of indian food and this was one of the best. Great service from the two ladies, it was busy but always had a smile 10/10 for us

Placed an order on New Year’s eve for delivery, 2 hours later and it hadn’t arrived, we rang the restaurant repeatedly but no answer. Nearly 4 hours after placing the order they called us and said they could start cooking it now and deliver to us but we asked them to cancel it as it was too late. Really bad service

Had a takeaway on a Tuesday early Dec. Lamb tikka with rice and bread. Everything was just warmish and lamb didn’t seem fresh. Ate the takeaway and was violently sick within 4 hours. I was extremely Ill for 48 hours. Rang to complain. Told wouldn’t be their food as others ate it. No money back, no understanding of how ill i was. I am never ever ill like that and will never have any food from there again. I hadn’t looked at their hygiene rating only 3 star. I probably would have avoided if i had have seen that. As it was a Tuesday i am m guessing reheating food as quiet.

The food is amazing and made fresh! The restaurant is nice and the staff are friendly, going out of their way to make you feel welcome. They say it's the best Indian restaurant with food cooked from scratch, always tasting perfect. Thanks for the great service!

Dhal up now for a delicious takeaway or Kormalong and Cummin for the tastiest authentic Indian cuisine in North Wales. If you’ve never tried Zeera Chicken or Lal Mas you’ve a treat in store. Traditional dishes are all available too. Highly recommended.

We called Jai Ho last minute to see if 8 of us could have a sit-down meal. They welcomed us warmly, and we enjoyed a delicious meal with excellent service. Thank you for taking care of us!

Couldn't recommend this restaurant enough amazing food every time worth the 30-minute drive for every visit. This is now our go to Indian restaurant for every occasion.

Takeaway on Saturday Night (21/10/2023) We were staying in Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia, and the restaurant didn't deliver this far. We were craving for some good Indian food - hence placed the order over the phone and drove 18 mins each side to collect food. We ordered: - Butter Nans - Pulao Rice - Sag Paneer - Aloo Gobhi - Tadka Dal - Poppadums Chutneys, Yogurt was complimentary. Very tasty Indian food, flavourful, hot. We loved it. The restaurant is a nice one to look at as well, we could have eaten inside - but the group was tired after 8-9 hours in Snowdonia National Park - hence we preferred takeaway to be eaten in the hotel. Must visit Indian Restaurant if you are in Conwy and around. They do deliveries as well. Wait time for the delivery was 1 hour+ as it was a busy night for them.

10 of us went last Sunday to celebrate my sisters birthday. This was my first visit to this lovely restaurant but it certainly won't be the last. We were warmly greeted by the lady owner who advised us what dishes would suit us & said that she could adapt the meal to my taste when I told her that I can't eat a hot chilli dish . The young waitress was also very helpful, friendly & efficient. The food was THE nicest I've ever had in an India restaurant. We started with poppadoms & a sauce tray. Then Onion bhaji which were delicious , big & very light. I could have just carried on eating those all evening!!They were accompanied by a small salad & mango chutney, mint sauce & chopped onions. The chicken Korma was excellent. Plenty of it & nice large chunks of chicken breast with a delightful sauce and a flavour which I've never tasted in a korma previously! The Pilau rice & Peshwari nan were also gorgeous. The meal was outstanding & I highly recommend it & I cannot wait to return there. ¹

We are regulars here as a couple and always highly rate the food , we booked for 7 for a family birthday and arrived to find the table decorated and balloon s what a lovely surprise ! The food is so authentic and great quality , good size portions .. the front of house staff ( sorry I’m rubbish names but same young lady been there a while ) is great so friendly and efficient .. so pleased we went as a family we all had a great evening !

Having unsuccessfully attempted to find a good Indian Restaurant/Takeaway in the area my nephew and I decided to try Jai Ho and discovered it isn’t just “good” it is fabulous! We ordered on Just Eat and within five minutes the charming lady from the Restaurant had phoned my nephew to apologise that the suitable cut of chicken for his order wasn’t available and would he be willing to accept a similar chicken dish; he agreed. She didn’t have to do this and even threw in a few poppadoms for the “inconvenience”; we were very impressed. When the food arrived, on time, we were both taken aback by the standard and the quality of both meals, everything, without exception, was delicious. For the first time ever from their accurate description of the contents I had decided to try a Lamb Dahnsak, which turned out to be amazing and also for the first time a Peshwari Naan, equally amazing! My nephew’s meal was similarly impressive. We were so happy to have found our new “go to” place for Indian food and would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it to anyone. Authentic tandoori cuisine and Indian restaurant. The food is very good, dishes are well presented, with decent portions too!! Very cosy and welcoming restaurant. The service was great and meals were quickly served. I’d highly recommend it. Remember to book in advance the place gets busy!!

Go most Sundays, same table for 4 ready for us. Drinks delivered straight away. Food fantastic and authentic. Always freshly prepared tasty curries, lovely hot buttery thin naans. Nooreen and Christine always attentive and a great banter is had by all, all thrown in with a spot of Abba and The Bee Gees.

As local residents in Conwy we have no idea how we have missed this gem of a place! Food is fresh and delicious and service is amazing!

As soon as you enter this restaurant you know you’re in an authentic India restaurant just by the amazing smell of the food. The place is set opposite the estuary and its stunning. The food is incredible and the chef Ali who also happens to be the owner along with his wife Nooreen pay special attention to every detail and craft the food beautifully making sure every dish has its unique flavour and it’s custom made to the customers liking. They serve traditional dishes from old India and they are super tasty. The decor is wonderful and the staff make sure the guests are happy. I love this place and I highly recommend this wonderful INDIAN restaurant. A must visit.

Jai Ho has to be my favourite Indian restaurant. I have been to so many in the past and this has to be the best. The chicken tikka is outstanding, beautifully cooked. The owner is so lovely and helpful. We visit every time we are in the area. You so t be disappointed. I cannot recommend this place enough. It deserves stars! Even some of the best Indian restaurants in London do not compare to the quality of the food here. 10/10

We are so delighted Jai Ho have reopened - this lovely restaurant has the best curries in North Wales. The restaurant is smart, clean and the staff are extremely accommodating. We’re so pleased Noreen and her team are back!

We have had 2 deliveries on 2 consecutive Saturdays in the last 2 weeks. The first one was quite late on delivery but it was valentines Saturday so to be expected. The next Saturday we ordered in good time and stipulated time and they were early so a bonus! Food was fabulous highly recommend. Various dishes and accompaniments all superb and piping hot. Lamb on both Saturdays was stunning. So tender. Chicken was gorgeous. Definitely our number one go to now for deliveries 😋😋

Absolutely brilliant meal this evening. We booked as a surprise for my wife’s birthday with a table of 16. The service and the food was amazing throughout the evening. They decorated the room and had a cake for us. Couldn’t fault a thing . Big thank you to the staff and the owner/chef who came to the table to wish a happy birthday and check we’d enjoyed our evening. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Sunday 8th Jan 2023. We had the most amazing meal at Jai-ho. Maurine met us at the door and couldn't do enough for us. She was an amazing host. Opening especially for us (8 of us on our annual staff do) the service was impeccable and as for the food...we have all been recommending to everyone we know. Everything was cooked fresh from scratch. If your thinking of booking or thinking of a take away, don't delay as you won't be disappointed!! Can't wait to visit again!

Absolutely incredible restaurant, the staff could not have been more friendly and the food is out of this world. I had the garlic chilli chicken and I cannot recommend it high enough!

From England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 just had a takeaway from here for the first time and OMG absolutely beautiful…. The vegetable rice was amazing, so many hidden flavours, as was all the food beautiful and ordered via Just Eat, was hot when it arrived …. Massive thumbs up

Awful , couldn't eat as long grey curly hair in one dish ,called up complained ,was told that would get a refund ,no response ,never ever again !

Best Indian restaurant in North Wales. Very extensive menu with lots of more unusual dishes, and the owner is always happy to explain the ingredients and spice levels used. Prices are very reasonable too. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, so it's great for enjoying quality time, conversation and food with friends and family. Can't wait for my next visit.

It was a terrible experience. We booked the table an hour before arriving and we were confirmed the table availability. But, when we arrived, we were told that there is no table available. When we requested why they confirmed a table earlier, we were “don’t talk to me like this”. Very poor management and a rude customer service.

The food we ate was good. Would have given better rating, if not for the terrible attitude. A totally senseless restaurant policy. We wanted to eat vegetarian food and found nothing good on the mains menu. So we decided to order 2 vegetarian appetisers and 2 veg side order dishes along with naans and rice etc., which I thought was quite a lot for 2 people. To our surprise we were told that you can't just order side dishes, if you have come for a dine in, you must order a main dish. Would have left the restaurant at that point, but as it was a bit late in the night and we were tired, decided to stay. Had to change our order to 1 main dish which we didn't like of course and 1 side dish. This actually costed less than what we were planning to order originally. Restaurant owners need to rethink their customer service.

Ordered from great App that lulls you into false sense of security. It has a countdown to delivery. So your sat waiting - plates on table in anticipation. It then doesn’t arrive - the phones engaged constantly so you try live chat. This is clearly artificial intelligence but they’ve obviously invested in the idiot version that isn’t very bright. See images. Food turned up at 9.50 ordered at 6.30

Reserved a table and received email confirmation, turned up tonight to find the place closed for refurbishment. Absolutely joke.

Avoid this place to eat! Absolutely greedy management especially Naureen who without consent had a set menu for our group of 8 people, excuse? Too big of a party to serve as they are very busy, fair enough but charging us £35 per head and extra for any rice or chapati. Rude manager (Naureen) to tell us loudly in the middle of the restaurant that what ever food she would send out to our table we have to except it or through in the bin!!! Never would we return ever☹️🙁☹️

Just enjoyed a beautiful meal at Ja Ho Restaurent in Deganwy. Excellent menu, plenty to choose from, food delicious, excellent customer service, generous portions. Parking available in the station car park just across the road and only five minutes from Conway Castle. Definitely going back again.
