Visit regularly for breakfasts on a weekend. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. We usually have the breakfast deal with coffees and either a bacon or sausage butty. However, sometimes the drinks leave something to be desired, depending on which batista is making the drinks. Certain staff make the drinks beautifully, particularly my Flat White, making it nice and hot, with a strong coffee flavour. Other members of staff make coffee that is almost beige in colour, as is the flavour. Or others making a cappuccino for my wife put so much froth in the reusable cup that when the froth has gone and my wife is ready to drink it, she's actually only got half a cup of coffee!

If you considering going to the butcher's on a Thursday be wary as the bingo associates are a force to be wreckened with, with old woman arguing amongst themselves and a certain woman called Valerie getting drunk to a point where she shouts random bingo numbers and puts scooter on the juke box to upset the regulars. There's always a character in there to keep you on your toes, like a mad Maggie, a spewie, and various old women who moan if you win bingo, what a night. Just remember to try not make any noise whilst bingo is on and try not to win.

The tea rooms are in a stunning location and make a great destination for a walk. We walked up from the car park in Lynmouth, it's a about 2 miles along the path. The walk was lovely along side the river which is a fast flowing stream. The path is challenging in places and a little rugid. But having a great destination drives you on. Great staff and good food. One highlight was seeing a Dipper (a small rare bird).

Visited today and was served by Ben, excellent service friendly staff made to feel welcome .

Taken over by new owners took them over an hour to do a mix grill over charged for the food and when I got home the mix grill was food left over reheated on the grill to make it look fresh and the naans were not fresh either left over reheated naans were given will never be ordering from there again what a disgrace how do people think they can run a business the lady that worked there was just adding on prices like we were stupid that we didn't knw anything about the price of food these days mama keep the food for yourself I'm not interested and I'm not stupid that I don't knw the price of fish . Disgraceful

We ordered from here both me and my partner also out young daughter have all got bad food poisoning we have all been throwing up since do your self a favour and do not eat here the first time from here was ok food wasn't the best neither the worst this time food wasn't good and we know about it even 2 days on still being sick

A great place to meet friends over a coffee with delicious home made cakes on offer... and there are other interesting dishes on the menu too. The prices are very good and there is free parking too.

Third visit can only go when in Wakefield but always our first choice. Service great and price reasonable. Food amazing.
