OMG the Live Music Tonight Was Amazing Loved How Much Seems To Have Changed Since My Last Visut 18 Months Ago, Will Be Back In Next Time I'm Nearby

Amazing live music, great bar staff and the owner came to make sure we were having a great time. Friendly and welcoming. I'm looking to book her for my next birthday.

Recently taken over by one of my friends I thought i'd show support and have a pint. Having never been in before the College pub exceeded expectations. The pub is very clean, lovely clean toilets, very doggo friendly which my doggo really likes. Has now become my regular pub and would recommend to anyone passing by.

Lovely pub. first time going in and definitely will be back. staff are very welcoming and polite and one of the cleanest pubs in wakefield.

Such a lovely pub, me and my partner went for a drink on a Saturday evening. Great atmosphere, I’d imagine it being very cosy throughout the winter. Will definitely be back again. The two young ladies who run it were brill and provided great service.

Went here for the first time last night and had a lovely time. The atmosphere was great and the service was brilliant. Definitely recommend coming especially in the summer when you can sit out in the beer garden in the sun!

Great pub! I didn't have any food so can't rate it though there was a big sign outside regards Sunday dinners! We'll be trying that out. It's a local pub so get in for a pint to support it!

The College has been our local on and off for over 25 years. Now we're living back in the area it's nice to see it's in good hands with the current owners. They're both really friendly and the atmosphere is great. There's a recently extended outdoor covered decked area and there's a few different nights on throughout the month.

Great beer and a wonderful breakfast. Our host, Joven really knows his stuff. We were here for the test match at Headingley, staying 5 mins walk away. Love the electric car charging too.

Had Sunday lunch today which was great, £8-50 and well worth it. Choice of 3 meats which you could mix , I had pork and beef. Big plate of food, plenty of different veg plus lots of meat. All well cooked and tasted great and served with a smile, will definitely come again.

We called in today for Sunday lunch & drinks, the Sunday lunch was amazing it’s all home cooked food by Jo which is served 12 - 3.30, three choice of meat available lots of veg mash & roast potatoes & home made Yorkshire puddings all served to your table the food was also hot something you don’t always get these days. The pub itself has lots of beer choice & a good wine selection. Sky sports on TVs Nice welcoming friendly staff well worth a visit it’s a 5* plus from me keep up the good work

Pub has had a nice refurb. Landlord very welcoming place clean and covid rules followed. Can recommend the lasagne and chips and can’t wait to try other things on the menu after lockdown. A big thanks from me

The staff here are brilliant at sticking to the covid-19 rules and are so welcoming! The people who come in here are so friendly and then the food....bang on pub grub! Perfect pint of Stella. This is defo a top pub in Wakefield! Had sausage & mash and Chicken & Ham pie (huge chunks of chicken and gammon) both gorgeous and homemade, cheers to the chef and all the staff and lovely people. Went in to watch the Football, plenty of seats and Covid Safety Measures in place, though some people weren't always adhering to them. Nice place now its been Refurbished.

Lovely pub, great pint of Stella and really enjoyed the Sunday lunch! Call for a pint now and again but after the lunch today we will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Just been for a quick drink in the newly refurbished College. It is lovely, we now have a lovely local to visit in the St Johns area. There was quite a few people having a drink in this pleasant pub I suppose they were like us having a nosey. We are so pleased we now have somewhere to go for a quiet drink. I hope the new landlord settles in OK and I am sure he will have some friendly customers. Once they are settled in they will be serving food.

came across this pub by chance and glad we did; relaxed friendly place. enjoyed a nice lunch and went back to a meal in the evening which again was really nice and great price. Recommend

Lunch time in Wakefield are sometimes hard to find a nice place to sit, eat and chat. The college is worth a trip for cook home cooked food

A good no-nonsense pub. Beer’s kept well, staff are friendly and polite. Absolutely nothing wrong with it at all if you want a place to watch the game in a welcoming atmosphere.

Visited many times, always a welcoming atmosphere and brilliant bar staff. Beautiful home cooked meals. Sam who works behind the bar most evenings is always polite and friendly.

We ordered our meal, when the waitress bought our coffee to us, i ordered two chicken meals, twenty minuets later, the same waitress came over and ask to take our order, i said you already took our order over 20 min's ago, with that she ask if we wanted to re-order, we said no, she said go to the bar and pay for your drinks, my husband said you should pay for our drinks, as it's your mistake not ours. The waitress went to the manager another member of staff ask what the problem was, my husband told her to get more staff, as this one was brain dead,with that the waitress said right stop that, you can go now you got your drinks free, no apology's, then she shouted out very loudly in front of customers, have a good day. we will never go back.

We were passing this pub on way to drop daughter off at work saw the sign for 2 meals £10 decided to give it a try and have to say it was one of the tastiest Sunday dinners and shepherds pie we have ever tasted what a place for lovely hot homemade food definatly worth a try

I don't frequent pubs like this very often but I think they are needed. The decor is shabby now but the patrons go for good food, drinks and company.

He estado en el Colegio para la comida en 3 o 4 ocasiones, el pub es muy acogedor y siempre tiene un buen ambiente.

Han estado aquí varias veces para el almuerzo. He tenido varios platos del menú del almuerzo y ha impresionado cada vez. Me tomo mi colega mío que sufre con discapacidades de aprendizaje y el personal nos hizo sentir como en casa cada vez que vamos. Elección de la cerveza es excelente también.

Esta es la quinta vez que el pub ha sido visitado por mí y uno de mis tres mejores lugares para comer. Desde fuera el edificio parece ningún deporte orientado pub con un parque decente de coche. El interior es la decoración es funcional, sin lujos. Sin embargo toda referencia al 'bog' Sport estándar pub termina allí. El lugar está muy bien gestionado por un concienzudo encargado y su esposa que presta atención al detalle y mantiene el sitio impecable. No hay rastro de vandalismo en el inodoro y tiene una capa gancho en la cabina. Él tiene excelente selección de bebidas y una señora que no sólo prepara la más agradable casero comida pero tomará tiempo y el esfuerzo para satisfacer las más pernickety. El lugar está situado a tiro de piedra del centro de la ciudad en el camino hacia la autopista M1 en dirección norte. abren 12:00 00 horas :. El teatro de Wakefield es la vuelta de la esquina y uno podía encontrar ninguna mejor parte forma de pasar una tarde que comer aquí y visitar el teatro después.
