The best restaurants serving Default food in Heckmondwike Kirklees Yorkshire and The Humber

This is a hidden gem!. Second time we've ordered in a week to see if the first was a fluke! Great staff, onion bhaji's to die for, generous portions, very fresh salad, better than the award wining restaurants in Bradford! SUPERB!

Ordered on just eat delivered half of the order and when I rang up to query why it was missing I was told would be with me in few moments, days later I’m still waiting for it. Food I got was nice just wish I got my full order. Maybe just a hiccup but first and last experience with this place

We have ordered from here twice over the last month and the food for a TAKEAWAY is excellent. Both times delivered (2miles away) and both times the food was piping hot. We have had the special szechuan, beef in black bean and chicken in OK, all very tasty.

Food was stone cold, food was late originally meant to be with us at 21:10 then changed to 21:25, then when I looked at 21:30 it had moved again to 21:50. We ordered starters only, dread to think how long it would have taken for a curry!! Driver was too busy on his phone did not even acknowledge us, just shoved food at us while on phone and walked off! Not happy at all. Food did not warm up well when heated back up.

AVOID!! Absolutely disgusting attitude from I think was the owner. Food is absolutely diabolical, soggy mushy ‘battered mushrooms’ full of water & obviously straight from the freezer. also got the scampi (obviously straight from the freezer too) & (see photos) that is even worse, had little black bits in, wasn’t cooked, really mushy & tasted awful. I rang and tried to explain the problem and the guy on the phone was so rude and arrogant, arguing me I am ‘wrong’ the food is fine, the food was far from fine. when asking for a refund or part refund, I was refused, absolutely disgrace of a place! NEVER AGAIN

Received a burger small than a kids burger, cold chips and half full boxes cookie dough was so thin and burnt ordered pop got water most shacking place ever and I never leave bad reviews I'm fuming not on.

Order my food and my garlic bread was missing , phoned them up and they came straight out with in 15 mins with my missing food and also loads of complementary sides aswel! Very good service and great staff/delivery driver names Kankan very professional! Great service guys

Caters for regulars/locals only if your not you will get ignored by bar staff who are sat in the corner laughing with the regular punters who in turn openly laugh,point and ridicule none regular to make them feel not welcome. When you eventually do get served it's not with a smile and god help you if you dare ask a question about the drinks they offer. Very unwelcoming. It's a shame has it didn't used to be like that and the pub itself is OK. Not local not welcome

Chow mein was disgusting and arrived cold

Regularly go when in the area and the quality never disappoints. In my opinion definitely the best place for Fish and Chips around Kirklees

Uncle Hanif provided good hospitality and made us feel very welcomed.
