Regularly go when in the area and the quality never disappoints. In my opinion definitely the best place for Fish and Chips around Kirklees

I am a frequent visitor to the town. I love my fish and chips and people kept on banging on about there fish and chips. I have tried there special 3 times that's a large fish with chips it get worse each time last time I went there Sat 31st July the fish was oily as hell and the chips was baby portion I understand we all have bad days but 3 out of 3 bad days is just terrible and it cost me £7.50 what a con

Ordered takeaway last night, didn't turn up, tried to cancel order they said its on its way still didn't turn up, rang them today they said they've received no order I argued it was prepaid they said take it up with just eat. Currently trying to get my money back from just eat. Do not prepay for ANYTHING from this joke of a takeaway. Daylight robbery!

Extreme poor service, order was 16 hours late!! Completely denied we ordered anything had to get just eat on the case , there extremely rude on the phone , they lie to you , he was still denying we ordered anything when the order arrived the next day!! Personally I would rather chew my own foot off than go back there for food

If you don't mind a mouthful from the takeaway when you ask why your food is 2 hours late then this is he place for you!

Ordered from here a few times and never had any problems but tonight the food was awful, the chips were really wet and soggy, the gravy was watery and I had asked for a battered sausage in the comments section ( due to there being no option for a battered sausage on its own on your just eat menu) but I received a normal sausage 😞 overall really disappointing !

Food was good driver was a little bit rude though really enjoyed the chips and the chicken probably will use this again. The time seemed a little bit long for what I ordered but food was still piping hot and tasty.

We placed our order at 2:45 pm and it didn't arrive until 4:15, well over an hour, not impressed, will not order from here again and neither will anyone I know.

Great food can not fault it best food from a takeaway but was 40 min late without at least calling we would have been fine if we knew. I will put all at 6 stars for now

Have to agree with all other reviews on delivery service. My order was almost an hour late and when the food arrived was slightly cold which isn't a great start! The food was ok... Could potentially be very good but this is the second time I have ordered now and this is the second time they have got my order wrong (although it was just missing salad in the kebab) this isn't great when the first time I ordered the chips were missing. Probably a great take away if you collect but I wouldn't recommend getting them to deliver again!

Only took 50 minutes to arrive. However food was cold - the fish in particular was cold and soggy and the curry sauce was so liquid it looked like a pot of dirty water. The rest of the food was good though, would have been nicer if warm.

Called them after an hour and I've been told the driver left 5 mins before. Took him an extra 45 mins to deliver the food. We had to wait one hour and 45 mins. Really disappointed

Rubbish from start to finish, 1 hour forty minutes to deliver cold lamb chops and cold fish and chips. All went in the bin. Worst I've ever had from just eat. £12.60 wasted.

Best Fish and chips in vicinity

I have used this takeaway a few times and they keep saying "Please leave us a review and you can have a free bottle of coke, or a free fish & chips". Yesterday i left feeback (5 stars) for 4-5 orders. I told the takeaway this via "notes", but no free coke or fish & chips. This has made me not want to order again to be honest.

Although good portion size for the fish it wasn't fresh/cooked well, also I think the chicken was undercooked and gave me a sore stomach.

Food was really late. The food was cold. If that was the special fish I dread to think what a normal fish size is. I would not recommend.

After reading the reviews I was hoping for good things,the delivery was good and slightly early and I paid £1.50 over rather than take the change but wish I hadn't, the chips were warm but slightly soggy,the chicken was very skinny and scrappy and some of it had blood in it, as if it was under cooked,we won't be ordering again from here.

Food was delicious, boxes securely wrapped in paper to stay nice and warm, fully packed with large cut chips and burgers. The driver, Nad, was the nicest driver we've had so far! He told us not to leave the block entrance and brought food to us because it was raining outside and then wished us a lovely evening.
