Burton Grill in Kirklees

What a set of scammers. Couldn't give zero stars. Ordered via website, took card payment and after 2 hours no delivery. Need a refund. Do not use this take away.

Ate here a few months ago with a friend. We had a pizza. The top of it looked cooked but the bottom looked very undercooked. It did not taste nice and we both agreed that it was awful. Have not eaten there since and probably never will again.

Our first order from here will definitely be ordering again, on time and lovely food no complaints at all thanks 😊

Absolutely appalling service, accepted order and took my money then never sent the food. I rang up to query this and was told they were closing so would not send my food, I was hurled abuse and told I was “banned” from ever ordering again. BEWARE SCAMMERS - I have seen another review saying the same!!!!!!

I was kindly Greeted by a lad called Adam he was very mice and showed me his lightsaber tricks also recommended the chicken goujons they were delicious ;he also informed me on the ways of being an npc thank you for the meal from Ben Dover 😊😊😊

Food is cold, no cheese on the cheesy chips, ice cream is completely melted, food out for delivery for 40 minutes, would not recommend to anyone wanting a decent meal, so disappointed. 2 hours later delivered! Do not order!!

£35 order of food not enough for 4 people! 1.5 hrs late, food cold! I’ve cream melted! Called to chase order still took 50 mins to arrive! Called to complain and staff rode and very unhelpful! Said would get manager to call but didn’t take number and hung up! Absolute joke! Do not order from here!

Gave 1 star as I couldn't give no stars. Ordered a delivery, told it would be delivered within the hour. It was over an hour and a half! The food was the worse I've ever tasted. Most of it ended up in the bin. The onion bhajis were overcooked and rock hard. The fish curry was disgusting, they had used scraps of fish that was only fit for the bin. The chapattis were rock hard and like cardboard. The chicken curry was no better. Neither curry came in a sauce just swimming in oil and grease. I don't know how they are still trading. Never again!!@

FIRST WE ASKED FOR NO CHILLI SAUCE ON THE CHICKEN KEBAB.THE KEBAB CAME WITH LOADS OF CHILLI SAUCE ALL OVER.SECOND YES WE HAD TWO POTS OF CHILLI SAUCE.WE ASKED FOR JUST LEMON ON CHICKEN.WE GOT ALL THE WHOLE CHICKEN WITH CHILLI SAUCE ALL OVER.THE CHIPS WERE SOGGY AND IN THE BOX WERE IT WAS SOGGY.THE WHOLE MEAL WAS WASTED.WE CAN NOT AFFORD THESE EXTRA COST.WE HAD TO GET A TAXI TO THE BANK.THEN HAD TO GO TO MCDONALD'S FOR THE KIDS.THE MEAL COST £35.00. £20.00 FOR THE TAXI.£30.00 FOR THE NEW KIDS FOOD.WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO HERE US.YOU ATE CONSTANTLY IGNORING OUR EMAILS.WE HAVE PICTURES.WE SPEND A LOT WITH JUST EAT.WE NEED FULL COMPENSATION OR WE WILL TAKE FULL SWIFT LEGAL ACTION WE ARE TOTALLY UPSET AND SHOCKED BY YOUR LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. ITS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR FROM THE RESTAURANT AND JUST EAT.YOU HAVE A DUTY OF CARE.WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING ELSE APART FROM A WRITTEN APOLOGIE AND FULL COMPENSATION PAYMENTS IMMEDIATELY PLEASE.

beautiful pizzas and good staff

I have eaten here with my family twice now and both times was just as good. The restaurants design is smart and comfortable, the food is endless in options to eat and flavour. It is a family business and the husband and wife that run the restaurant are lovely people who always make sure everything is okay. 10/10 all around place to eat.

Visited here today really good food,fresh and tasty and good value for money also very friendly and attentive hosts would definitely go again 😀

We would order frequently from here, mostly from just eat until we found they had a website so we could order direct. Recently ordered off website to get an email a few minutes later saying the website was no longer in action. The money was pending from our account so we phoned the takeaway to be told it should come back to us within a few days and that we wouldn’t be getting the food either. Fair enough. The money came out of our account and despite chasing nobody has been interested in refunding us back despite promises of this. Sadly won’t be ordering from here going forward again.

Don’t really know how this is meant to be a korma, Really salty and tasted nasty. The rice tasted cheesy as well. Don’t order.

Love this place ..living in the south now I miss real curries I always try to visit and eat here my son loves it as well ….the owners are great and nothing is too much trouble

!!!!!!! I don’t normally leave bad reviews but the food here is completely inedible- My partner had a curry, and I’m quite concerned he is going to wake up pregnant in the morning it was that salty. 🥴 I ordered pizza and it was swimming in grease, it was even leaking through the bottom of the pizza box onto my clothes The cheesy chips were disgusting, You could tell they had been reheated- and the cheese was flavourless, it was basically like eating plastic. If I could leave a zero I would. Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star.

I'm not one to leave bad reviews.. But my god! Food was 2 hours late (didn't mine too much, as these things happen) But the food 🤢 curry's swimming in oil, chips looked like they'd been microwaved. And then the taste 🤮.. I think the chef must have had an accident with the salt Pot.The meat was fatty and chewy.. Bearing in mind it was chicken!! It was inedible. We had to throw it away.! Safe to say.. I won't be a returning customer!

App said it wasn’t working due to technical difficultly but then sent to my door and withdrew money after I ordered else where. I then rang the following day to see if anything could be resolved as it’s their fault and cost me over £60 for both. Was rudely told NO and hung up on. Do not use !!

This place is horrible, the kebabs were awful,dry and overcooked ,I would not give this to my pets .... JUST YUCK

We ordered a Salami Pizza with chips for delivery. Delivery came in ok time. Pizza was a little bit too much cheese over topping and sauce but the base was good. Chips were ok, usual takeaway style. For prices I’d probably order from here again when I need something easy and don’t want to cook.

First time ordering fish Karahi and was simply blown away. The flavours are so authentic and lots of fish as opposed to just sauce. Really made my Friday night and being so local to me I will be definitely ordering again very soon. Well done and keep up the good work! Much appreciated.

Fkin disgusting place ! Kebab meat was disgusting had brown crusty bits on the edges cheesy chips were like plastic rang up and they said they couldn't do anything we spent nearly 40 quid here. Avoid

I order from here everywhere food been beautiful and tonight its been disgusting, they sent wrong order for a start and the chicken was burnt and the onion rings was burnt too not happy with the food tonight

Just ordered from Burton grill for the first time via just eat. Delivery time was fast and the food arrived as expected. Had the chicken grill nan kebab, chicken wrap with chips and chocolate fudge cake and I can report it was all spot on! Definitely going to be ordering from here again.

Just had delivery meal from here, perfect food really tasty and really friendly delivery staff. Currently isolating with covid and delivery was made safely with a friendly driver wishing me a speedy recovery 🙂

Delicious!! Only had the pizzas up to now but they were the best pizza I have had from any local takeaway. Will definitely be my go to takeaway and will be looking at other things through the menu. Thankyou

Made us really ill the bit we ate as we was hungry, Disgrace kebab meat hard and cold chips burnt and cold pizza very sloppy and greasy would never go here again horrible food. Ask for re fund no chance. BEWARE

Our first order from here, definitely not the last. Food arrived hot, always a bonus when being delivered as we are not exactly local! The pizzas were by far, the best we have tasted. Generous toppings and that's without any added extras. Driver was friendly too.
