Eastern Delight in Kirklees

Food was stone cold, food was late originally meant to be with us at 21:10 then changed to 21:25, then when I looked at 21:30 it had moved again to 21:50. We ordered starters only, dread to think how long it would have taken for a curry!! Driver was too busy on his phone did not even acknowledge us, just shoved food at us while on phone and walked off! Not happy at all. Food did not warm up well when heated back up.

Chicken korma was terrible, the chicken was dry and the sauce tasted like one from a jar, rice was fine, onion bhaji was nice, chappatis are store bought microwave ones and they forgot my drink! Never again

The curry’s are always so tasty. We stopped ordering curry’s for a while as we couldn’t find a nice curry takeaway and then we tried eastern delight! They always deliver on time from Heckmondwike to Mirfield. They never forget any items we order it’s always 10/10 food. Good price curry’s too! Thank you!! 🤩

ordered chips but they never turned up curry come cold aswell.

What I got was some lumps of dry chicken that had only recently been added to the Jalfazi sauce thus avoiding any cross contamination. My garlic naan missed out on any garlic. The most disappointing meal,

ordered for 710pm, came over an hour early .... missing pilau rice, chicken in tikka masala was hard like it was stale , which ia disappointing when they've been amazing the past 2 times

I told myself I wouldn't order from Eastern Delight again but thought I'd give them a second chance. Never again!!! My order was wrong, when the correct item eventually turned up it went cold very quickly. The papadums were chewy instead of crispy and the chapatis were hard all around the edge. The only good thing I can say is that they apologised for sending me a wrong item, said I could keep it and sent extra chapatis with the correct item

Chicken Korma had lots of chicken, but the sauce was watery and bland. Half of it ended up in the bin.

The food was tasteless, it tasted like water and it was very bitty! The korma wasn’t a korma.

👌👌👌 spot on chicken madras gorgeous chicken nuggets and chips 👌 definitely recommend still the number 1

Driver was such a lovely man, brought me my food early and came back with my drink when the restaurant forgot it even after I said he didn't have too. 5 starts to that driver :)

Food came 15 mins later than said no problem at all! Pilau rice missing called to let them know, sent another but took another hour to deliver it. But the curry’s and starters were lovely so thank you. Delivery guy so friendly too!

Order was very late, called and asked where it was after 90 mins, told 5 mins away, I said it better not be cold when it arrived. Was assured it wouldn’t be, waited another 15/20 mins after call. The food arrived cold! sauces missing of order which we paid extra for. Chicken was extremely dry. Chicken pakora was dry and chewy. Poor poor experience overall.

Really good quality Kebab. My only gripe is that I had to choose between sauce or salad. I selected salad, and received a measly amount of grated carrot and red cabbage.

Had worse but they forgot my 1.5L coke and the korma seemed to taste watery or flavorless with rubbery like chicken, delivery was quick to say the time.

Hi Yesterday I ordered 5 dishes of 3 different categories but I received only 4 dishes. I ordered 2 DAL dishes but I received only 1 DAL dish. I need to have 1 DAL Dish which I have already paid yesterday but I didn't get it.

Delivery arrived over an hour late, only after I had requested to cancel! I sent it back! My cancel request has been ignored and I am £18 out of pocket! The take away number on just eat just went straight to voicemail! I still haven’t received my refund sand no one from the restaurant has bothered to contact me! Stay clear!

My order was late. My curry was lukewarm and the Burger was cold and burger bun was stale.

Food was cold when arrived ,chicken fillet very salty, delivery waiting time more than 1,5h otherwise food was okay customer service fine.

I have been ordering from eastern delight for over 25 years now , however …the standards have slipped … Over 2 hour’s waiting for delivery…the food came it was ok … overcooked king prawns …not restaurant standard but you get what you pay for I am disappointed and won’t be ordering from them again …

Curries and chips arrived cold! Over an hour late. The bhajis and pakoras were really dry and we couldn’t eat. We attempted to cancel the order and was waiting to hear back from the restaurant but it turned up 3 mins later. The driver was very apologetic on behalf of the company. The only thing we managed to eat was the popadoms. Based on tonight’s order, we wouldn’t recommend.

The food was cold. Tasted very bland. It tasted like old food that had been stood ages! I couldn’t even eat the food had to throw it away! And they changed the order status to delivered when it hadn’t been delivered!!!!!!!! Still waiting around for it for another 40 minutes. Would give no stars but had to give one

Mediocre food which fit the description, slightly strange price but not a huge inconvenience, rice was somewhat dry but went well with the korma. Overall a decent takeaway but I don't think I'll buy from here again.

Food was late. Ordered 2 different curries and it was the same curry in both containers one just had pineapple in! Both were just as bland and the chicken was so dry. Will not be returning!! AVOID

First and last time ordering from here. Very disappointing. Onion Bhajis over cooked, hard and inedible. Chapatis too thick and hard round the edges. Curry bland with no spice.

Been a long time customer but very disappointed with meat been overcooked in both dishes, korma tasteless and thickness too much. Chapati taste of too much flour. Not upto normal standards.

Disappointing. Curries were bland; lacking flavour and any spice. Starters were ok, although the bahji and pakora batter was a bit stodgy like it was not cooked through enough. Finally everything was nearly cold when it arrived. Won't be ordering from here again.

Well order was wrong but I’d just worked 14 hours, it was 10pm and couldn’t be bothered ring up to complain and wait to be resolved . So ate what was delivered, was lovely but my mouth was on fire 😮‍💨 HOT

Would definitely recommend. The curry is alot more spicy than other places. What I would class as a proper curry
