Medina Bismillah in Kirklees

Staying in Huddersfield as i work away from alot (Scotland) and been here for a few months now so i came across this hidden gem and i will say that the chicken biryani was delicious full of chicken tikka and veg and to ve honest it was one of the best meals i have had in a while, seriously try ur self n not trust other horrible comments you see and pop in like i did to try ur self, HIDDEN GEM MASHALLAH

Ordered pishwari naan , very bland even when we asked for more coconut it was just a plain naan. Very disappointed after being a customer for years. No customer loyalty, no care. Will not use again.

Easy to order online. Good food and plenty of it. Can be highly spiced but we ordered was just right. Friendly courteous drivers

I ordered a lamb karahi and a lamb balti with rice and chappatis. I got the karahi but don't know what I got instead of my balti, it was almost yellow and with a yoghurt sauce,also the chappatis were quite hard like they'd been pre-made and warmed up, it was disappointing not to get what we wanted but after a long day at work, my wife ate it because she was hungry and didn't want to wait for another one making.

Fabulous every dish we ordered, the Chicken masala, Potatoes and peas and Tarka Daal so tasy delivered hot and well packaged great staff

Chips smelt funny.. chapattis like cardboard.. rice sloshed with green food colouring .. the curry was nice shame there not really taking the same care as I’ve enjoyed curries previously from there

chicken tikka makhan is very good, everytime

I've lived in huddersfield for about 3 years, and this is by far the worst takeaway we've had. the onion bhaji were the driest thing I think I've ever eaten with the smallest amount of onion. the donner meat looked like it was cut 3 days ago and the seekh kebab was circle also dry and tasteless.

Korma is hot rather than mild and creamy.

We had 1 large Cauliflower & Potato curry between 2. This is very substantial, with lots of beautifully cooked cauliflower & spuds, and quite a thick dish. We prefer a saucier dish, so we add a large curry sauce & mix the 2 dishes. Then we have a naan each. It is without doubt, the best veggie curry out there, for us. Perfect spice blend with 100% on point, Medina, thanks. We've been going to Medina for years, and never had a dish that wasn't superb; lovely, friendly drivers too. 10/10, always😋

Over half hour late and not very nice at all, won’t be ordering again and don’t recommend

Food this time was utter garbage!! Old & cold, 4 bits of onion is not salad, food all spilled in bag, not good quality at all this time. Can do better!!!

that food was so so so much spicy. I've mentioned that it should be spicy but like he'll and too much oil. Also, the yoghurt was smelly like expired. I was really not happy with it. Thanks

I don’t like doing this but I don’t no what’s happened tonight. I Ordered donner meat and chips for my partner, donner meat had a wierd taste and was binned. I ordered a tikka masala, didn’t taste like tikka masala and it was freezing. What a waste of money and disgraceful

just right for a Saturday night. Not too hot or spicy. Good slow burn. korma was smooth and full of chicken. Lamb bhuna was tasy spicy. mixed veg vey nice. Naan bread moist and good size. starter was a medium but was huge. Very happy all round experience will be kept on list to use again A+

Tasteless curry, we put straight in the bin front of house very unprofessional, dressed in a track suit and trainers, not a good impression ,£10 short on change given ,Would not recommend.

food delivery was on time but most the food was cold other than the korma that has a little warmth and everything was soggy like its been stored in the bag for ages before delivering, the naan was more like mash potato than garlic naan after sweating in its bag, chips was undercooked and the currys was very poor - the chicken tikka was very bland and way too spicy, korma was slightly better but even the korma was spicy. overall not impressed

Ordered a vindaloo was sent something else , tried to call the the takeaway but there was no answer

Tasty curry and delivered early

I wish I could share photos. Everything was cold and arrived sweaty from the length of time in plastic packaging. The chips were grey they were that undercooked. The naan didn’t even have a whisper of garlic. The mint sauce was split. The bhajis were dry and popadoms were cheap and soggy.

We asked for chilli sauce which is not an option on the menu for the donner kebab. None was delivered which ruined the meal really :(

As much as the food was lovely, the order was slightly wrong again. This is the 3rd time in a row now that I’ve ordered the mixed kebab and not got the seek kebab in it as it was substituted for what I think is a shami kebab. Like I say the food was lovely it’s annoying getting something that I didn’t order.

Even in the snow it was on time

food was delivered on time nice and hot .onion bhaji really nice and good portion. I ordered lrg balti it was quite mild lots of whole tomatoes 🍅. I think next time I'll order something with a bit more spice and sauce as places do things differently.

Delivery was a little earlier than expected, but the curry I bought was delicious and piping hot, very high marks for the cooks on the main. I felt the Onion Bhaji's and the rest of the starters were slightly overcooked, but overall I enjoyed the experience thoroughly and fully intend to buy again.

The food is always nice, but it was exceptional this week. I strongly recommend the Saladine Special. I asked for extra coriander on my dish and I got a small bag of coriander separately as well which was great!

All sauce with very few solids. Not worth the money this time. In my note I requested: "Please may I have very very much more prawn than sauce? I do not eat anything with this (no rice, no chips, nothing etc). Many thanks!" The keema I had before was ok, but not this one (The samosas were ok). I might try again in a few months. Cheers.

I thought I had ordered Prawn vindaloo online, but I actually ordered Keema! It was just as delicious, and I liked that there was plenty of meat as I do not eat rice, bread etc etc with it. I rely on the meat etc Thanks

Watch him when you receiving change when pay cash. We stayed in Huddersfield for work and dinner with him for a few days. He overcharged my friend twice and tried to overcharged me greddy man. The chef with black had is top man tho! How poor you need to be to cheat on people who helping you provide for your family? Sad to see your luck of respect to people!

Food was cold when it got to us

Curry was gorgeous but they sent me the wrong naan. I like a spicy curry and a sweet naan but they sent me a garlic naan which was disappointing

I can recommend the Salendine special, it’s gorgeous. The salad is always fresh too. Never had a bad curry from Medina Bismillah. 🤩

half an inch of grease under the kebab to the point of it being inedible, could have rung out the pitta. All the food went in the bin, physicslly could not eat it, chicken was grey and chewy, wrong naan sent out. usually really happy but massively let down, just eat offering no help as per so wont be returning.

Chicken tikka masala cooked beautifully. Nice tender chicken, plenty of sauce full of flavour. Will be ordering again.

Ordered starters samosas were fab unfortunately the chicken pakoras were over cooked and very dry. The large balti curry and naan were very good, curry very tasty. All were hot on arrival.

Both curries we ordered were lovely and the naans were too.
