Terrible, won't be going again chips rock hard, chicken like rubber quality rubbish even the dog wouldn't eat it. Also had along wait i could have read war and peace while i was waiting,cold reception /waiting area

VILE! Worst takeaway I've had in my life, everything 100% pre made from days ago and when it arrived they hadn't even warmed my main course up it was stone cold. I put in microwave my self for 3 minutes and was inedible as food shrivels up when you re heat pre cooked food. We politely rang and said the food was cold and not fresh but as they are a small business we don't want anything in return just acknowledgement of poor quality this time and hopefully this wouldn't happen again. She was nasty, indenyl and had the audacity to call us liars. Please black list this hell hole and take my word for it.

Oh wow after being in Mirfield for a year finally found an amazing Chinese, absolutely gorgeous food, I can’ wait to order again. Just 5* brilliant.

Phoned an order through, ready in 20 minutes. Food was fresh & tasty and still hot after a 5 minute walk home in the cold. Good value for money.

In my opinion, it is the best Chinese takeaway that I have had in the UK, and I’m so glad I found it. I order from here, probably once a month, and it is my go to takeaway. I don’t think I’ve had a bad meal… The food is always piping hot and tastes amazing, no matter what I order. The two ladies who answer the phone/serve you at the takeaway are very friendly and lovely to talk to. My favourite meals are duck in plum sauce or deep fried chicken in garlic and chilli sauce for main. The egg fried rice isn’t the horrible pale white rice you get from other chineses. Very cheap prices and big portions.

The best Chinese in Mirfield and surrounding areas by far. The food is ALWAYS bang on, hot and very tasty. Good portion sizes and prices. The staff are lovely and friendly too.

This has been my go to Chinese takeaway for years but I think it has changed chef or food supplier as the food was quite bland , the salt and pepper ribs had no seasoning at all . The prawn toast was very fatty and the sweet and sour pork missed its normal taste. Will give it another try

This is our regular place for takeout Chinese food. The food is always good. Highlights are salt and pepper chips, Singapore noodles and the prawn toast. It’s busy sometimes so can mean a wait but that’s not a bad thing for me

I really enjoyed the food, I phoned my order through and was ready when I went on to collect which is always a positive the prices are similar to other Chinese takeaways in the area maybe slightly cheaper, I will definitely be coming here again.

Great tasting food at reasonable prices

I got a Special chow mien and Special fried rice. The sauce in the choew mien was very thick, salty and a burned taste. The prawns had no taste and the meats were dry. The special fried rice was stodgy and the meats dry and tasteless. Not worth the 6.50 and 6.20 charged. Won't use there again.

3hours for delivery, ordered at 5pm still waiting at 8:15.... after been told 1hour30mins. Tried ringing but phone off hook.

This has been our go to Chinese for the last 10 years. However two out of the last three meals in the last 8 months have not been the best. We know Chinese food can be a little salty but the noodle dishes have been very salty and the last sweet and sour sauce was very sharp, verging on the point of vinegar. It would be good to know if there is a different chef there because otherwise the prices are good and the portions good.

Walked here without pre ordering as we were on a boat on the canal. The food was all freshly prepared and the wait wasnt too bad even though they were busy with telephone orders.

Great takeaway went last saturday really nice beef in ok sauce.

1st time here and deffo the last. Food was just like eating a massive dish of salt full of oil. Got the szechuan chicken and beef it was just like eating oyster with a hint of chili. So unless you like really salty and greasy foods then don't go here. O and the price is absolutely a joke. Get your selfs to CHOPSTICKS.

My husband is away and doesn't like Chinese so I thought I would treat myself. In substance it was fine but just too salty. I will be up drinking water all night

The set menu for 1 is £11, they threw in a few extras at no cost and I got so much food. Really tasty and much better value compared to local competition.

Well established take away always delivers great food

I won't go into too much detail. We order here regularly, it is the best Chinese takeaway you'll get in Mirfield and better than any further afield. Consistently great tasting food at reasonable prices. Most recent order the 15th April. You can't fault it.

Lovely food pleasant staff and not expensive

I ordered Prawns in a light batter with a hot and spicy sauce, egg fried rice and Prawn toast, the sauce would of been nice warm instead of cold, maybe there was a misunderstanding , other than this the food was excellent, I am looking forward to trying other dishes

Food was ok, spoilt by late delivery; site stated 19:50 delivery from a 19:05 order on a Sunday night, shop amended by 15 mins and the I chased at 20:20 finally arrived 20:30... And I choose the closest shop to mitigate! Poor

We have always ordered our chinese takeaways from here, although the last 2 we had weren't so good! Curry had no taste and hardly any prawns, the free items never came and the prices have increased quite abit... averaging around an extra £3-5 per takeaway!

Food arrived warm, not hot although didn't have to wait that long for the order. Usual order includes sweet and sour sauce, noodles and chips, but this time found the sweet and sour sauce really acidic and not that pleasant to eat. Used to be one of my favourite places to order from but won't be ordering again from them again.

Now we used to order from canton a long while ago but felt the delivery times were becoming longer and longer and the food quality wasn't as good as it had been, However we decided to give them another go and boy are we glad we did, the delivery was 15 mins earlier than quoted so no ringing to find out where our food is, the driver was very polite indeed and well presented, the food was to die for, we both ordered crispy shredded beef with chilli which we used to in the past, it was an absolute taste sensation, everything about the dish was perfect, All in all I will certainly be giving canton gardens Mirfield a full 5 star review and thank them for the fantastic quaility food and service, Thank you Canton.

Order accepted at 8pm with delivery scheduled at 9pm. I phoned at 9.10 and eventually arrived at 9.35 with a free bottle of coke. Didnt make up for waiting an hour and a half for food that i suspect was made after we rang up.try being honest from the start. Getting bad for this

The food was really nice. The tub it came in was a little smaller than usual but it tasted really good and was all fresh and there was enough for us so we were happy.

Food was nice but delivery took over an hour and a half, I wouldn't have minded if I had been told it would take ages but after an hour it had said that it had been delivered on the just eat app so I had to ring and chase it.

Order total was over £20 which means we should have had free crackers and din sum. Never received dim sum.
