Great pub, excellent selection of ales, typically locally sourced. Pies, cobs but also olives!

Myself and some friends stopped off to have a quick pint on our route home. We waited to be served (the only ones waiting) and we was having a laugh with the bar girl whom swore at me (flipped the bird) to which I was shocked! I never said anything as I was flabbergasted! Anyway We was still waiting for our drinks and I made the comment “is it your first shift” which was received with a laugh from the girl. However within minutes she pulled a face (like a bulldog licking urine off a nettle) and said she was offended to which I was confused as we was having a laugh. Anyway weird little hill Billy pub with perverted old men ogling the young at the bar but this was deemed acceptable.

Excellent location and really friendly staff.

Just had a kebab but it had hard meat in it burnt really . Normally I have a nice kebab from here the main man makes it someone else did it today . Guess I will have fish next time he is away .

Went for Sunday Lunch last week 8th Oct , excellent food service great Sunday lunch we believe this was a the first time the chef had taken the kitchen would recommend .

Came for breakfast and a coffee. Friendly staff good food at a reasonable price, and all this on the sunnier side of the river. Nice view of Riverside North from either inside or outside, what more could you ask for?

Friendly staff and very cheap drinks and snacks. Dog friendly too, perfect after a walk out around Habberley Valley, what more could you ask for?

Pretty sure their Kong burger gave me food poisoning. Wife's burger was OK and thankfully so were the chips my son was eating.
