The best restaurants serving Default food in Malinslee Telford and Wrekin West Midlands

I’ve come for a bottomless brunch as a coeliac it’s always a worry as sometimes I’m told things are gluten free but have ended up poorly, TGIs are brilliant and I’ve never had any issues

I’m looking forward to the re opening of this little gem. The breakfast was always good, served with a bucket of hot coffee. Whilst not speedy service, breakfast was cooked to order. So hope that when it re opens it’s still an ASDA own cafe not been sold off to Starbucks or similar.

The staff were great but you need to do something about the trouble the travelling community cause. I was in there on a Sunday afternoon and there were approx young adults and teenagers causing havoc and intimidating the staff. They were behind the counter and helping themselves to stuff. They were openly vaping in the restaurant and making a mess. I came in with my wife, 9 year old and 3 year old. We felt unsafe - the food was nice but it wasn’t worth it I’m afraid. Management need to support the young staff - 3 members of staff came upside to check on us. They are a credit to you…but you need to back them up and resolve this issue. I felt so sorry for them.

We came here for lunch on a Friday a few weeks ago on, unplanned after a shopping trip. I haven't been here for many years so I didn't have any expectations. We were able to get a table even though we hadn't booked as it was nice and quiet. Inside is like your typical Marston's pub decor. Although we were planning on getting something else we decided on the carvery as we walked past it on the way to our table and thought it looked great, and the majority of other people in there were also getting carvery so figured if it's popular it must be good. I really enjoyed it, particularly the gammon, the large Yorkshire puddings and the roast potatoes. Thanks to Dan and Aida for cooking the delicious food. You can also choose small, medium or large depending on your appetite. The main reason I have given my review a 5 was the service, Gavin who was behind the bar was really friendly and chatty from start to finish and provided an excellent service. Even one of the chefs doing the carvery was friendly with everyone who went up. Only criticism I have is the bathroom felt a bit tired and dated, but didn't detract from the overall experience. I'll definitely come back again in the near future.

Had a takeaway fir eight adults on Saturday night. Obviously we had a large range of dishes between us. Food was ok really liked the yuk sung but the chicken balls were a bit doughy. I think Oakengates has better options out there to be honest.

Everything was correct and made to perfection

Awful ☹️ ordered and waited over an hour. Tracked courier which showed as in my road. Then did not deliver but said delivered. Considering you are supposed to give a code when delivered I can’t see how this was delivered incorrectly. Waiting past midnight and massively disappointed. Rang the store multiple times and no answer.

Booked large group table a month in advance, to ensure we would get in as its always been busy in the past. They took my contact details. Arrived on the day to find it shut up in darkness and handwritten sign on door saying closed due to refurb until further notice. Why bother to take contact details and then not use them to advise change in circumstances. Wagamama to the rescue! Having read the reviews since, I have to say it seems we had a near miss as the quality and service isn't what it used to be under previous management.
