The best restaurants serving Default food in Tamworth West Midlands

Just a quick drink before football. It was quiet, only 6 in the bar and 8 in the back room. It was quiet, peaceful, and very enjoyable. The lady serving was lovely and there was plenty of drinks to choose from. There was also seating outside.

Come here last week for the first time customer service was spot on took care of us nicely. Food was absolutely unreal will definitely be coming again 👍🏼 100% best takeaway in the area

Didn't taste the food but service and beer was good, warm welcome and a good atmosphere, also plenty of outdoor seating to sit and enjoy the weather.

I have used this chip shop on many occasions and generally found the food to be above average, but tonight I was very disappointed in the quality of my meal. I ordered for collection using their web site for 20.05, the shop closes at 20.15, but that should not mean that the food quality is compromised. I ordered cod for myself, but the fish was not freshly cooked, it had the look and consistency of being sitting in the heated display unit for a long time. The batter on the fish was dried and hard and the fish was tasteless and rubbery. The chips and my wife's pie were passable, but not of the usual quality. If there is not enough time to cook an item of food to an acceptable standard then it should be taken off the menu and substandard food not passed on to the customer.

We had an excellent meal at this busy, independent restaurant. I would recommend booking although we were lucky enough to get the last table on a walk in. The waiting staff and manager were absolutely spot on, friendly and attentive but not over bearing. We had an excellent recommendation on wine and desert from the manager, and it was plain that she had personally been involved or at least tried everything on the menu. The food was freshly made to order, with fresh ingredients, the pesto garlic bread was a particular highlight, but we really enjoyed all 3 courses. Highly recommend as one of the top Italian restaurants in the midlands.

Lovely meal, good value for money and warm and friendly staff. Good service but unrushed, and exactly what we needed for the evening. Problem with my card payment was dealt with professionally - and without embarrassment or drama which was really appreciated.

We were in Tamworth for the day on our way from Lancashire to Leicester and chose this restaurant based on its menu found online - and are so glad we did. Two of our family eat fish but not meat and at far too many Indian restaurants, options for them besides prawns and vegetables are very limited, so we were delighted to find fish options available here. The prices were great and everything about the visit was excellent - top quality food, including my wonderful naga balti, great service and value for money. We had soft drinks but you are welcome to bring your own beer and wine. If only this was nearer home, but I'm sure we'll find an excuse to call again some day.

We’ve had yet another absolutely amazing meal at Omar’s Table, this time for my sister in law’s birthday meal. The service was fantastic, the starters came out really quick! Even though I forgot to take a picture before me and my husband dug into our starters (Chicken Kofta and Egyptian Falafel) they were incredible, my husband said best falafel he’s ever had! 😍😍 My husband had the lamb and I had the beef they were both beautifully cooked! The veggies were incredible and the cauliflower cheese was amazing! 🤩 The deserts were delicious although we ended up taking them home as we were too full to finish them 🤣 Once again well done to the whole team at Omar’s Table! 🩷

Our first visit but definitely not our last. Extensive menu and great service came with some great banter with the friendly staff. Very busy which is always a good sign, so make sure to book a table. Cobra on draught and a good wine list too. Well recommended.

I go every Friday with my grandaughter who is 3. We have been going for over 3 years to the Deanery. It is euch a lovely welcoming place to eat. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. My grandaughter loves going in and talking to Amy and Danny and the rest of the staff.

Nice atmosphere to the pub and great friendly service.
