The best restaurants serving Default food in Quarry Bank and Dudley Wood Dudley West Midlands

Oh my god! The food was to die for! I had a fish curry (Tilapia). I never eat fish curry, I t was lovely. We sat in the restaurant, the owner was polite and a good host. Definitely recommend. I didn’t even know it was here!

Excellent quality food and plenty of it.

Sent my grandson to buy a fish, a curry sauce pie and chips plus 2 pies. He was charged £26.50. What a rip off! The quality was crap and service was bad. If I had wanted to be robbed blind I'd have found a mugger! DON'T GO HERE!

I don’t really do bad reviews but I have to share the truth and hopefully it will encourage them to do better. I’ve been there twice now, the first time I brought dinner wrap and chips. The warp was good but I thought the portion of chips were very small for the money I paid. Second time, I was reluctant but thought let me try as it may be different. I purchased 3 piece chicken and chips and was very disappointed. I said the to waitress, is that the portion of chips as it’s very very small.. the chicken was dry and crunchier like I was eating crisps. I was going to take pics at the time but I was very disappointed and ended up throwing it all away. Wouldn’t go back there and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Not putting it down but I just have to be truthful.

Just had chicken tikka garlic pathia from spice merchant absolutely brilliant food would highly recommend them service is brilliant aswell⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️complements to the chef

Decided on a curry after a few beers down the local. Decided on a chicken madras with leeks naan and egg fried rice. The madras sauce was tasty, nice and spicy but very watery. Only 7 smallish pieces of chicken which was a bit disappointing. Small carton of rice which was three quarters full again disappointing. The keema naan also didn’t have much meat in. But it was ok. Probably wouldn’t have been at all impressed if I was sober 😂.

The food is a gloopy mess of different starches all mashed together with a bunch of frozen veg mix dumped in to bulk it out. Who doesn't want sweetcorn, peas and carrot chunks in their eastern style noodles? Who wants their fries or fried chicken to be crisp? I at in, so this food was served to me immediately - I can't imagine how it managed to get that soggy that quick. For the price it was pretty disappointing

I had gone off having a chinese takeaway and decided to give these a try. So glad I did. Best in Quarry Bank in my opinion.
