The food is a gloopy mess of different starches all mashed together with a bunch of frozen veg mix dumped in to bulk it out. Who doesn't want sweetcorn, peas and carrot chunks in their eastern style noodles? Who wants their fries or fried chicken to be crisp? I at in, so this food was served to me immediately - I can't imagine how it managed to get that soggy that quick. For the price it was pretty disappointing

As a regular customer of Oodles Chinese - Walsall Branch, my customer experience this evening is shocking. I was very disappointed that the food served was extremely DRY to the point I was having to drink at regular intervals in order to swallow it! I placed an order for: Egg Fried Rice and Vegetable Noodles (as my base), Katsu Chicken Curry (as the saucy option) and Crispy Chicken (as my dry option). Due to thr lack of sauce, especially from the Katsu curry it may aswell have been all a DRY option. Usually the food is slathered in sauce especially the noodles but not tonight! My advice would be to not place an order at this branch if the lovely Asian woman or the Korean/Chinese Wok Chef are absent, the food will fall short of your expectations and leave lot to be desired not to mention leave you feeling dissatisfied. Not value for money on this occasion.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. AVOID at all costs. Ordered for the first time, as I had moved to the area. Salt and pepper chicken was so over fried, it was hard to get your fork in it and actually tasted like pork scratchings. Seaweed had a weird taste and there was a lot of raw seasoning just dumped on the top and was disgusting. My partner said her chicken curry didn't taste right, so I tried some and the sauce and vegetables had a very strange after-taste and the chicken had no taste at all, was just super soft, but had no taste as if it had been boiled for hours. Worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had, will not be ordering again. Tried to get our money back off the meals (not the full order, as the chips and curry sauce in a pot was ok) which we had to throw in the bin, but had no joy. Save your money folks.

60 Long LaneI've tried most if not all chinese take aways in the area and always keep going back to New Kee as the food is lovely especially the curries and Singapore chow mein etc. Only downfall is no delivery but when collecting there's always someone there collecting or another walks in while you are collecting so very busy and popular speaks volumes always 30+ years I've been delighted with the quality food produced here and good portions also nicely priced too Service always pleasant and respectful Excellent Chinese Take Away, if not the best around

42 Skidmore RdYou know how they say not to cheat on your hair dresser? Well don’t cheat on your Chinese!! Tried this place for the first time last night as my usually Chinese takeaway wasn’t open. Paid £20 for tasteless food only to end up with food poisoning! Won’t ever use this place again. Some of the chips was hard in the middle, chicken didn’t taste like chicken, didn’t eat much of what I ordered and I’m so poorly, god knows what I would of been like if I ate it all!

77 High StI have used this establishment a few times in the past and the food is consistent. I had a beef curry and boiled rice which was really tasty. The staff are friendly too. Highly recommended
