I had gone off having a chinese takeaway and decided to give these a try. So glad I did. Best in Quarry Bank in my opinion.

Ok food, quite bland and not much flavour. Very pricey for what it's worth. Prawns were inedible and dry. Do not recommend

Eaten here for a few years and food has always been great, ordered a meal last week which came to £32 and the whole meal was completely inedible. I contacted them and they explained they'd had a new chef start, I explained that the food was inedible as there was way to much salt to the point where it burnt our tongues. They offered an apology, but no replacement meal or refund and the manager refused to speak to us on the phone. I actually kept the food and have now passed it onto the food standards agency, my partner and daughter had to drink several pints of water to clear the vile taste.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. AVOID at all costs. Ordered for the first time, as I had moved to the area. Salt and pepper chicken was so over fried, it was hard to get your fork in it and actually tasted like pork scratchings. Seaweed had a weird taste and there was a lot of raw seasoning just dumped on the top and was disgusting. My partner said her chicken curry didn't taste right, so I tried some and the sauce and vegetables had a very strange after-taste and the chicken had no taste at all, was just super soft, but had no taste as if it had been boiled for hours. Worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had, will not be ordering again. Tried to get our money back off the meals (not the full order, as the chips and curry sauce in a pot was ok) which we had to throw in the bin, but had no joy. Save your money folks.

Ordered a pork curry with fried rice, getting it home the curry was mainly onions with very few pieces of pork, very disappointed.

I've tried most if not all chinese take aways in the area and always keep going back to New Kee as the food is lovely especially the curries and Singapore chow mein etc. Only downfall is no delivery but when collecting there's always someone there collecting or another walks in while you are collecting so very busy and popular speaks volumes always 30+ years I've been delighted with the quality food produced here and good portions also nicely priced too Service always pleasant and respectful Excellent Chinese Take Away, if not the best around

You know how they say not to cheat on your hair dresser? Well don’t cheat on your Chinese!! Tried this place for the first time last night as my usually Chinese takeaway wasn’t open. Paid £20 for tasteless food only to end up with food poisoning! Won’t ever use this place again. Some of the chips was hard in the middle, chicken didn’t taste like chicken, didn’t eat much of what I ordered and I’m so poorly, god knows what I would of been like if I ate it all!

I have used this establishment a few times in the past and the food is consistent. I had a beef curry and boiled rice which was really tasty. The staff are friendly too. Highly recommended
