One of the best Fish and Chips shop in the area. Definitely one to try if you live in the area or if you are passing trough. Definitely 5 🌟 from me.

Love this chippy been using it for years never had a bad meal and portion sizes are massive. Staff are always friendly. Had a mix meat salad and chips which was more than big enough for myself and my partner to share.

The food is always excellent nothing is ever missing from my orders.

Been using this chippy since moving to the area 2 years ago. Previously had no reason to complain. In the last 2 weeks I've been very disappointed on both occasions. Firstly I ordered large fish and chips twice. The fish were mini fish size and very hard and dry, almost like battered wood. I immediately phoned up to complain and was told that next time to ask for the owner. The following week I was asked by the owner what the issue was to which I explained. I was given a free fish, even though both were awful and not even an apology from the owner, just a miserable look and attitude. This evening I ordered large 2 meats and salad, without chips twice. I was charged £21, which I queried as we didn't want chips and I was grunted at that it's the same price. When I opened them the chicken was very dry and crumbly, certainly wasn't fresh. This time I won't be phoning or complaining, I'll find elsewhere. Paying premium prices doesn't bother me but the poor food and the miserable ignorant attitude of the owner does.

First time user, really good chippy, chatty friendly staff. Food was excellent, portions are huge.

We ordered 90 mixed meals for a birthday party. The service and quality of food were both excellent. The food was delivered punctually and amazingly hot considering a bulk order. Very friendly staff.

Used to be elite, now pure trash. You're paying near premium (for chip shop prices) for bad food, terrible service especially when online ( pickup - you arrive ages after you ordered and you're still waiting behind the whole queue, you get the wrong food on delivery - you can pay for battered chips for example and get normal, you buy two of something and get one) and when you go to the shop they're just rude and stressed. This place was my go to. I'm out. It's truly abysmal.

Appalling since it changed hands. Portions tiny, takes forever to get your food even if you pre order on the website. Rude staff. I could go on. We used to love having a great chippy on our doorstep but we will be looking elsewhere from now on

Had t been here since late 90’s. Purely because I’d moved location. Surprised to see still worn rd by same family. Old school jokes by chap behind counter…good laugh. Really good food

Been using three a s since I was a kid but after last few orders I give up had scallops all batter and thin enough to be classed a crisp more potatoe in a walkers crisp lol place as gone down hill fast

Price for the gyros is a bit steep but really nice food and generous portion. Once in a while affordable though.

Would of loved to review this chippy as every time I drive past it smells lovely but today i stopped 2/5/24 asked for a bit of ketchup on my meat n chips but everything was swimming in cheap ketchup ended up in the bin unfortunately

Fresh and tasty food, decent portions, with 3 large meals we were able to satisfy the whole family of 4 adults and 2 teenagers.

Great place, great food. I would recommend it. It’s hard to find a place to park, though.

Best fish and chips in the West Midlands.

Can be a bit hit and miss. Sometimes the food is great with a good portion and piping hot. Then other times the food is like warm at best and child portions. Kebabs can also be hit and miss depending who makes them. One staff member just throws the salad items in the bottom of the pitta then the sauce and throws a bit of meat on top. Where as the experienced ladies make them properly with meat first a bit of sauce some more meat then the salad. All in all not too bad when it’s not busy.

Just ordered online and received my order within 15 mins! Perfect temperature and portion, reasonably priced. Very impressive, thank you!

Decent chips and the kebab meat is of good quality and tastes great. I just wish they had an option for chips to be cooked in beef dripping or lard

My partner collected a fish and chips, small chips and kebab and sausage and chips. The fish were terrible! I couldn’t eat it at all it tasted and smelt rotten. The small chips were handful. I wish I had took pictures and the cost of £22 for complete rubbish everything was thrown away even the dogs didn’t want it…. Real shame this used to be a top chippy

I went into the three A's fish bar on the way home on Saturday evening, the staff were really friendly and the portions they gave us were very generous. Even after walking home the food was still hot and and we really enjoyed our fish and chips , so we will be returning.

Food arrived over an hour later than the stated delivery time. Rang the shop and informed it was with the driver. Ir took another 30 mins to arrive and when it did arrive it was freezing cold.

New owners? What a shame…. Chips taste completely different, Doner meat different and barely any sauce. Very disappointing from what it used to be. Tikka was nice though

Waited a hour and half for delivery

Will 100% be ordering again.. food was very fresh and very hot considering I live 3 miles away from the shop. The kebab meat is one of the nicest I have tried. The whole family love food from here. Quite reasonably priced too taking into account the prices charged at other shops.

We waited over an hour for food, which when it arrived was still hot so clearly had only recently been prepared (so the driver isn’t to blame). The food was good but just too long to arrive.

Absolutely disgusted with the portion sizes at this chip shop and the price you're charging is bloody ridiculous. £6 for a mini fish and chips and a thimble of curry sauce, may aswell have been a piece of seabass not cod there was nothing to the fish. To charge £1.50 for a pot of curry sauce that wasn't much bigger than the thimble of sauce you got with the mini fish. How you can charge the prices you are and give your customers the portion sizes you do is disgusting, the government could take a leaf out of your book for screwing people over. We shall NEVER be going back, it's no wonder chip shops are not doing well.

I’ve used 3 A’s for years but the last few deliveries have not been great. Order was meant to take 45 mins was actually over an hour and only then arrived after ringing up to chase. I literally live 5 mins from the chip shop. When it eventually arrived it was ok but the portion size is now very small for the price they are charging. Think I’ll be looking for another chippie

Food didn't turn up after ordering online called them up 3 times and lied about saying sent it to wrong house asked for money back and said will take 3 to 5 days then put phone down never using that place again

The service was really good. Everyone was really nice and fast with the food. The food it self is delicious, mostily one of their special yogurt souce. I totally recomend their food.

If I could give it a 0 star I would the food was nasty the pie wasn't cooked and some of the chips wasn't cooked and there service was disgusting 50p for curry sauce that's in a dip!! Tray and how they spoken to me never again I would rather travel 45mins to go somewhere else

Fresh and tasty food with friendly and clean staff

Really disappointed with my experience last night. Ordered two large fish and chips and took it home in the bag. When we came to plate it up this was the mess we were greeted with. They wrapped it up on paper that tight and so much paper that the whole lot was stuck to the paper. The chips were all wrapped around the fish as well as the paper. This means when we tried to take it out the paper it all got stuck and pulled all the batter off as well as breaking all the fish apart. All the chips were soggy and stuck to the paper as well so it was just a mess. Who mushes fish and chips so tightly wrapped it turns into this mess. It should have come in a box with the chips and then the fish on top. Tried to phone them as we were not happy to ask for a refund as not only was it a mess the chips were cold, fish luke warm at best and the fish was also super mushy and just low quality but no answer. Can someone please get in touch in regards to the order as after a few mouthfuls it all went in the bin!

Having been a loyal customer for many years tonight's offering was extremely disappointing. Cone of chips of which most was batter bits more bits than chips, same with all 3 meals purchased. Did ask the apprentice server if mine was a medium portion which all the reply back was 'yeah'. Photographs of the meals are uploaded if anyone can be bothered to help. Won't be rushing back in a hurry....

Normally have mini fish and chips which are great, good size portions for the price. Tried the Gyros today OMG absolutely amazing stuffed full of chips chicken salad and the sauce was Wow. Delivery was quick and the delivery guy is always very polite. Great chippy!!

I have just placed a order for a delivery among other things I ordered 1 sausage priced at 1.70 on the menu but have been charged 3.30 ?Also I don't understand what the 1.75 marketplace charge is for ?. Will have to collect in future as feel a bit ripped off.

Ordered a kabab in pitta with hot sauce ended up with lashings of mayo instead, which I hate, even left a note for hot chilli 🌶

For the price portions are quite small. No idea why they do not do orange (battered chips) which will make us unlikely to return. The gyro was spot on and very tasty but the rest of our order which consisted of sfc, fish and sausage meals were tiny portions and nothing at all special. Won’t rush back

Absolute rip off. Ordered 2 large chips for collection. My 2 sons went and collected, when they got home I was so disappointed at the quantity. When I bought a large and a regular portion of chips the other week we had loads, the portions are literally half the size this time! £9.20 for these in the picture. Will use another chipshop next time.

We had a delivery, expected a small wait as it was main service time. On arrival the delivery person was professional- the food was still really hot. Won't use another chippy.. food & portions are great, also the service. Recommended it to everyone. Well done Three A's, always consistent, never been let down.

Absolutely extortionate on the prices. I wouldn't of minded if the food was worthwhile but it definitely isn't.

Food is OK ish, but the prices are astronomical. Because they come in a box don't mean they are any better than when they used to be in paper. They are charging for sauces on specials which they hadn't used to do. Its just a total rip off now. I felt like I had been mugged when I came out. Never going again.

Popped in on the way home, and upon ordering was told I'd need to wait 5 minutes for the youngests fish bites to be cooked (not a problem). The fish bites were left in the fryer for 10mins, (again not a problem) but then staff proceeded to serve at least 15 people before me, which meant by the time they got to our order there was very little kebab meat left for the adult orders. Some was cooked, but this was used for another order that came in after me, more was cooked but it was only enough for 1 of the 2 meals, then when it was cooked for mine another server took some off the young man doing my meal, for a mixed meat and chips meaning i was left with barely any. As everything else had been boxed ready, all 4 meals were cold and the chips were soggy, after spending 40minutes waiting! We used them last week too and the same happened with them keeping my husband waiting, but the food was nice that time, which is why we went back I used to use this chip shop all the time, and we were excited to have a nice chip shop local, now that we've moved back into the area, but we won't be going back now

Good food. However, still putting a limit on the card machine use, which was abolished by visa & Mastercard following covid. Nearly couldn't buy my daughter a drink because of this, which was forgotten on order. They did give it for free. However, it wouldn't have been an issue if the minimum wasn't present.

Had a bit of a wait but that's because they were making a fresh batch of chips. Everything tasted good but the portions were smaller than we used to get from here and we still get larger portions from our other local chippy.

Just had our first meal and found the whole experience brilliant! We opted to collect and upon arrival only had to wait a couple of minutes for our food. We had Halloumi wraps, souvlaki and chips & mixed grill boxes. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. Thank you!

Ordered via UberEats, delivery was quick and prompt however the food was terrible we usually have great experiences here and are regular customers however when the food arrived it was awful we could not even eat it. I had the mixed kebab and it was the most vile thing I have ever eaten 🤮my wife ordered the Greek kebab which is meant to come with tzatziki however this was missing and the whole thing was so bad I wouldn’t even feed it to a dog. Overall just avoid this place if you value you money and gut

I recently ordered from three As chip shop as a I do most Thursdays/Tuesday. They delivered the totally incorrect order then took an additional half an hour to redeliver the correct order. I asked if there was anything they could do on price due to it taking 85 minutes in total. I was told no, via the girl on the till. The owner/manager clearly has a blatant disregard for his/her customer's and frankly, I don't appreciate it. The fact the delivery driver couldn't even muster a sorry is yet futhur testament to 3 As poor service and indifference to their customer's experience. To be fair they didn't ask for the incorrect order back but it's only gone in the dog because it's nothing we liked or wanted. The girls were golden over the phone, and tried to help as much as possible, so no slight on them. In summary it's a massive shame because they're food is great, but their customer service evidently leaves much to be desired.

Had chicken souvlaki and fish and chips.. chips were lovely and fish was beautifully cooked. Souvlaki was the best thing I’ve tasted for ages. Thank you! Just to add a reply to khizars review.. with a name like that what do you know about foreskin? Also the hair is a lie

Absolute disgrace, i told them there was way too much batter on the fish and said to them it looked like dried up foreskin, fish looked horrific and there was a hair on one of the chips which looked liked a pube, rang up to complain and after telling them to learn some manners they cut the phone off!
